The perfect property, the perfect staff, the perfect location. Our first time there, but it won't be our last. Beautiful public areas, great dining options, accommodating personnel who do all they can to make you happy. We were there for a week and stayed in the Cottages, a synonym here for condos. Lots of room at the pool, superb service and great menu for at-pool dining. Tram and shuttle service to take you to the beach or to shops and restaurants. They even provide towels, umbrellas and beach chairs! You won't be disappointed about anything. Just ask and your "wishes" are granted. Great for couples of any age or families. Would only like a few more kids activities at the pool.

A lovely resort very well located. Accommodation lovely and very quiet. Only complaint is be aware there are numerous extras charged at check out e.g resort fee 40€ per night + tax, end of stay cleaning charge $200+ and administration fee of 100$. Service charge on everything you eat or drink. You end up with a sizable bill on check out. But a lovely place to stay.

Our kids (7, and 10) loved the cottages at Naples Bay. It was clean, roomy and well maintained. There are 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms & a pull out couch. Everything we needed was in the kitchen to use(tea pot, coffee maker, blender, etc.). I loved sitting in the screened in patio area and reading. The washer/dryer was very convenient as well. The only issue we had was the key pad to our door randomly stopped working after a visit to the fabulous pool. We had to wait for maintenance to open our door for close to 30 minutes. A worker provided us with cold water and updates. All the workers were professional and helpful. We also were provided with an umbrella, chairs and towels for our beach day. We can’t wait for our next visit, because I don’t think I could get my kids to stay anywhere else. I did use the gym and Top Golf. They were well maintained and clean! I overheard other guests saying they were impressed with the gym and adult only pool area as well.

Location is convenient, club services are excellent, resort service in general is good. You can use the shuttle service to get to the beach, the main downtown area (5th Ave), and back to the resort. Overall a very good experience.

We booked three weeks at The Cottages at Naples Bay Resort sight unseen. However, the reviews and photos of the resort convinced us that this was a luxurious property and would be a lovely place to stay. We couldn't have been more wrong. First, the "Cottages" are not cottages at all; but, a complex of condos next door to the main resort. In our case, the condominium we were put in was awful. It was dark and dingy and badly in need of a paint job. The furniture was cheap and worn and the beds uncomfortable. Both my husband and I woke up with back aches every morning. When we inquired about housekeeping, we were informed that it would be $175 PER DAY. The same amount was charged for renting a cabana by the pool. Considering that we were spending approx. $800 per night to stay there, we felt these charges were outrageous. We actually dreaded returning to the condo each evening after dinner and couldn't wait for our "vacation" to end. In our view, to advertise the "Cottages" as part of the Naples Bay Resort is completely disingenuous and misleading. We felt as if we threw the money spent down the drain.

We stayed in the Cottages at the Naples Bay Resort. These are actually apartments but are spacious & well-appointed accommodation. They are closer to the pool & spa than the hotel. The staff were friendly & helpful & the complex is nice. However, there were a few minor niggles that stop this resort from getting the full 5 stars from me. First,y, although there is a gate on the side of the pool nearest to the cottages, it can’t be accessed using your room key, so you have to walk all the way around to the other side to get in. It’s not a particularly well laid out path & is inconvenient in the heat when you’re carrying your pool bags etc. It seems to me that it would be easy to put a pad on the gate to access with your key card. Secondly, over half the pool area is “adults only”. At the weekends, this made it hard to get a lounger in the pool area that families could use but the adult area was virtually empty. Alcoholic drinks can be bought & consumed in both areas, so maybe it would be better to have it as a quiet area. We were with our 16 year old daughter & eventually sat in the adult area with her. Finally, and my biggest gripe, was that you only get a small bottle of each of shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. We were there for a week & it wasn’t enough but when I asked at reception, we were told that’s all you get - the lady on reception was also very keen to tell us that you don’t get any more toilet paper either! For a so-called luxury resort where you are paying a few thousand dollars to stay, this felt really petty. All hotels, even basic ones, provide shampoo etc now. We had travelled from the UK & around the East coast so had not brought any with us due to weight. I checked before we travelled that all our accommodation had complimentary bath products. It would be better if they didn’t provide any at all so you could come prepared, rather than just a day or two’s worth - or even better just provide it like everywhere else. Felt very cheap for a hotel of this standard & level.

We are staying at the Cottages which is a very short walk to the Resort facilities, pool etc. out cottage is a large three bed, two bathroom facility with all the expected amenities. It is clean and provided a great base for our 8 night stay in the Naples area. The resort is well located. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only small gripe is when the main pool area is busy there was not enough sun beds when frustratingly there are beds available in the ‘adult only’ section which we couldn’t use as we had under 21s with us. Also be aware of lots of ‘hidden’ charges - parking, resort fee and cleaning which all add up to quite a significant sum. Overall well worthy of a 4 start review and we would come back.

We just checked out of Naples Bay Resort and Marina. We stayed in D106, a 3 bedroom condo. This is definitely a 5 star resort. The condo was clean. The grounds are gorgeous, and the staff is attentive and friendly. From the beach shuttle (supplies you with wonderful towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas as part of the resort fee) to the pool crew, Naples Bay is top notch. Unfortunately, our condo had COCKROACHES…A LOT OF COCKROACHES. We complained once, and they sprayed the room. We still found live and dead COCKROACHES. We complained again, and they sprayed again. They offered to move us to another room. At that time, we were half way through our stay, and we hoped the second spraying would do the job. The moving of 5 people and all the food would have been a bit of any undertaking. The night before checking out the cockroaches returned. They apologize, and said they would never rent a room in that condition. At check in we asked for a room by the pool, but they advised the resort was 90% full. I suspect theywere well aware of the cockroach infestation in D106 prior to our stay as there were dead ones upon checking as if someone just sprayed. It saddens me. They had to know they had a problem before our arrival, but they still chose to rent the room to us. They ruined a family vacation that we booked 8 months out and saved for. For a place that is so customer oriented, they sadly really didn’t care that they ruined our vacation. They gave us $200 at checkout, but it didn’t change much. We are from the north and honestly have never had to deal with such an infestation. I hope for future families that stay at The Cottages of Naples Bay Resort and Marina that they rectify the problem before they rent D106 out again. Please, Naples Bay Resort and Marina do the right thing.

We stayed 11 nights in a pool view first floor 2BR unit and all was fine Except the supplied Pack N Play for our grandchild. After the 1st nights with her getting sick we isolated the cause as Mold!! A 2nd unit was the same so we bought one at Walmart and that solved the situation immediately. NBR reimbursed us and a special Thank you to the Restaurant Manager who stepped in at night to solve this. Other than torn patio screens all else was fine.
