This is actually a hard review to write because I absolutely loved it and I don't want to share it with anyone!! If you go (don't lol), be sure to take good care of MY things ok? :D Of all the places I've visited in the Philippines, Agta Beach Resort, Almeria and Biliran as a whole has wound up being...

We came here unannounced without prior reservations and to our dismay they were fully booked. We were told to go to the nearby resorts but we instantly felt we were safe in their resort. We begged for them to accommodate us that we were okay for a makeshift room. They found us a room they use to store their linens...

Only stayed one night here as no wifi. Lovely big swimming pools to cool off in and had them all to ourselves as no one else was using them. Rooms were average but clean and spacious, very friendly staff.

Best view of the sunset in Biliran. Best lechon manok (roast chicken). Best swimming pools in the province. Best accomodation and services. Best people, always carry their brightest smiles and their warm hospitality. Best place to unwind. Highly recommended beach resort in Eastern Visayas. 😉

The rooms are pretty basic, but they are very clean. We stayed at the room besides the dive shop. The room and bathroom was huge and we had our own living room. The staff are great. very attentive to your needs. The dive shop is small but the owner/Dive instructor is great and was willing to answer our any queries...

Almeria is a great spot for visiting impressive waterfalls, rice terraces, island hopping, and diving. Agta Beach Scuba Resort is the best place to get all this accomplished. With a nice little restaurant area, kubo huts along the waterfront, and shelted from the highway by a hill and many trees, this place is a good way to experience adventure on...

When i was looking for a place to stay in Biliran. Agta was the one mentioned in Byahe ni Drew. From Tacloban we boarded a Van to Naval. The trip took 2.5 hours and cost P120. In Naval we boarded a tricycle to Agta. We were 4 and we were charged P300. Rooms at Agta are very basic. There is...

The location is great, rooms are okey, staff are too slow to respond to your concerns. Dive shop dont have staff to entertain you if you have inquiries about diving. Foods ordered has to be 30mins to serve as they cooked it. Too pricey. Constructions of the pool is going on.

The accomodation and the resort itself is very basic but my friend said the sunset was remarkable (no, i didn't see it myself; i was inside doing things, haha). Most rooms are not new (except for the dive shaft, which can also be rented by those wishing to go diving), but clean, and construction of additional rooms, several pools, etc...

I stayed at the Agta Beach Resort for 7 nights over Christmas 2015. The staff were friendly enough and spoke enough English to communicate with foreigners. They were amenable to my requests. The accomodation is basic, but cheap, with air con. My major issue was the loud and annoying outdoor kareoke, from the VRC Resort next door. It was constant...

“Scuba Shack if you are a huge group, cottages for famlies with smaller kids on the opposite side of the cove - around 3 km away from the scuba shack. still with beach front, also has fishing!”
  • View from the rocking chair (and the dining area) inside the Scuba Shack. Coffee and this. YES.
  • One of the very many dining areas -- may be used for business training, family reunions, etc.
  • Soak up the sun. Do whatever you want. It's all yours. See if you'd want to ever go home.
