Great service, nice friendly people working, good breakfast, clean rooms, hot water always, A/C works perfect, TV, Fridge and microwave, iron with table, Stayed there for a week while on business and was just what I needed. Also perfect location.
According to the reviews I should have cancelled, but it was only for one night. And it turned out everything was just fine. Nice room. No bedbugs. And a breakfest buffet much better than on expensive hotels. Never had better waffles. So chill out. It is perfect for a sleep over.
I stayed here before and after a cruise. Check-in was quick and efficient. The included breakfast had just about everything one could want and the coffee was excellent. My room was very clean and very comfortable. The free internet easily handled my needs. Free airport transportation is included. Don't know that I will be back in Miami again, but if so, I would definitely stay here again.
2/10 WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND! My cousin and I booked a last minute trip for 2 weeks to Miami and the hotel we wanted wasn’t available for the full 2 weeks (we didn’t even think about getting 2 hotels in this case but now we know). JERMAINE automatically assumed we were coming in for cosmetic surgery so when we told him we weren’t he gave us this side eye like he thought we were lying which rubbed me the wrong way. The room itself was dark and dingy (nothing like the pictures) the bathroom door would close or lock. The pool was warm and filthy. The breakfast was DISGUSTING!! The eggs were powdery, the waffles had this tacky texture to it which i never experienced before. We had to order UberEats every morning. What made us check out was JERMAINE giving us an unwarranted attitude to a simple question about how the mailing system worked. I will never stand to be disrespected after spending MY money in an establishment that isn’t worth anything more than $50/night! As soon as he gave us that second and last disgusting remark, we went up to our rooms, booked an Airbnb for the remainder of our stay in Miami and checked out in a matter of 30minutes! Only reason why the rate is a 2/10 is because the housekeepers were really nice.…
We called and asked can a 20 year old sign in and they said yea it’s fine but once we got here they said you have to be 21 and not just that the bust doesn’t pick you up at night I would not use this hotel if u don’t have a ride or not 21
Staff could care less, and the airport shuttle has such restricted hours it rendered it useless for early or late flights. Water heater wasn't working. We have stayed here in the past and it was adequate, however it has gone further downhill and I would't suggest anyone stay here.
We had flown in to take a cruise and spent one night here. The shuttle bus driver was nice. The front desk staff was not. They were cold and impersonal. The lobby and hallways were dirty. The room was okay. The carpets needed to be cleaned and the front lobby furniture was awful. It was late, we were tired, and we had an early morning ahead of us, so we stayed but I will never stay there again.
The manager at this hotel refused to cancel my cousin's reservation and reimburse her over 300 dollars after she got a connecting flight to get to her mom's funeral (hence didn't need the one night reservation to stay in Miami). Manager was rude, insensitive and when asked for his name, he ended the call. Awful client service! SHAME ON THEM!
Review of Sleep Inn, Miami Airport, Latin Cafe 2000, Magic City Casino and Suvi Thai Sushi Restaurant. Sleep Inn: Budget hotel. You get what you pay for. My room was small. Very small bathroom, similar to cruise cabin. Water was luke warm. Hard to shower in the morning. No tub only shower, which was dingy with black in crevices, see pictures below. Will report to management upon check out and will update this review with their response. Not much space. No sofa or chair to sit on. No luggage stand. Pool clyosed. At Check-in, their system was down, nobody was able to be checked in for about 1 hour. They offered no apologies, even water while we waited. We decided to go to lunch and when we returned, it was back up. Suvi Thai Sushi Restaurant. This restaurant is located in an area close to a busy street. Within walking distance to the Sleep Inn. There is also a Burger King, an Irish pub and a restaurant called Downstairs all within walking distance. The Thai and Sushi Restaurant: The food was very good and unsweetened ice tea was delicious. And reasonably priced. Pleasantly surprised as I don't eat Sushi, but other items on the menu were very good. My fried rice was delicious and the fried chicken pieces in a sweet chili sauce was sooo tasty. We had vegetable rolls with a sweet chili dipping sauce for appetizer. Sooo good. Unsweetened ice tea was fresh and real tea too. Yummy. Brian enjoyed his sushi. Said was very tasty. He enjoyed the unsweetened ice tea as well. Service a little slow with only 2 servers and was busy for lunch. But other than that, service was still good and servers friendly. Magic City Casino is close by. Around $10 to $13 Uber drive. Lots of slots but not giving out anything, which was discouraging, and we left quickly. Latin Cafe 2000 was within walking distance from Magic City Casino, at least for us, as we like to walk. I liked my food, but Brian said it was ok. The coffee for me was delicious. Cafe con leche. He had Cafe Americano and said was ok, not bad or good, just ok. The empanadas were delicious. The plantain chips, really good. Recommend: Thai and Sushi Restaurant, Magic City Casino for a little fun, if you are into casinos, and Latin Cafe 2000 for authentic Cuban Cuisine and Coffee. Not recommended: Sleep Inn. Get a better hotel. It was Spring break, and the price I paid was outrageous at $146 Total price. But hotel rates were high in the Miami area for my travel dates. In all fairness, the hotel did offer a complimentary airport shuttle, which was good. They pickup at the airport every 30-45 minutes. Shuttle van was clean and the driver friendly. Continental breakfast was typical with coffee, juices, bagels, waffles, sausage, muffins, yogurt and cereal. Update:. We reported room problems to front desk. All they did was offer us another room to shower before checking out, which we didn't take advantage of because we were in a rush to get to Port of Miami. Hope you found this review helpful. I HAVE NEVEER SEEN SUCH A WORST SERVICE . 1.Breakfast is served only till 9am as if we have to rush to office. 2.SEATING SPACE IS VERY VEY LIMITED and hardly 6-8 families can sit and eat. 3.Towels will be replaced once i. 3 days though it can be changed before that based on request. 4. NOOO BATHTUB ALSO. 5. Some strange person was KNOCKING THE DOOR AROUND 2 AM which was super scary to check on the room availability. I really didnt know what the receptionist were doing downstairs. NOT AT ALL A SECURED PLAce. 6. MOST OF ALLL THERE IS ABSOLUTE NOOOO RESPECT. 7. ON TOP OF THAT WE PAID $800 FOR THIS WORST SERVICE AND IT LITERALLY SPOILED THE VACATION.
