I stayed overnight because of a flight cancellation and American Airlines arranged this hotel. It was a horrible experience: poor cleaning, used sheets and pillowcases, moldy carpet. Bathroom with drain clogged by hairs tufts. Bedroom chair with food scraps. Everything was disgusting and I couldn't sleep. Worst night of my life!

The room is decent and pretty clean. There is no breakfast and no swimming pool. Ok to sleep but not for a family or couple vacation. Not much to offer! Couple of things that gets me was on my check out date the cleaning lady knocked on my door at 8:24AM and knocked on my door again at 8:44AM. I just lost my 3 hours of sleep. I couldn’t go back to sleep afterward. Also it lack of maintenance person outside filled with cigarettes butts everywhere. Did I mention there are rat traps everywhere too? As son as that happened I went online and booked my next visit on 8/18 at somewhere way better even I don’t care about the swimming pool or other amenities. My sleep and peace of mind is very important to me. I want what I paid for. If my check out time it’s at 12:00PM and I didn’t check out the cleaning lady have no business of knocking on my door until then. There goes for her tips too.

This hotel is partnered with AA and when your flight gets delayed, this is one of the hotels they put you in. It's super dated. And they only pay for a standard 2 double bed room. The first room we got put in, the bed was breaking and damn near on the floor. So we asked for another room and I'm just happy we are only here for one night. Our original room had a huge tv and a broken, springy bed. The replacement room had comfortable beds and a tiny tv. Can't have it all. To have your trip interrupted and you're heading to a 5 star resort and then be put in this dated, 2 star Inn is not how you want to start your vacation.

To start, stayed in room 1133, which is on the backside of the elevator so you'll hear what sounds like drums all night, you'll need ear plugs but you'll still hear them. Was there 5 days, room not serviced once, despite asking. No fridge in room. Now the part that really got me going- I called the hotel at 05:45 after landing and spoke with Yvette, she said the shuttle would be departing at 6 and for me to stand at spot 7 for pick up. I did that and was standing there before 6. I saw the shuttle fly by around 6:10, not slowing down, not looking over for passengers at all, I was waving but the shuttle did not stop. I immediately called Yvette back and she said she would ask the driver and she hung up. I then waited 10 minutes and called back, she said the shuttle was back but she didnt see the driver yet, so I had to ask her to tell driver to come get me, she was clearly surprised that I wanted picked up and reqeusted her to do anything at all. She finally got back to me and said the driver, Sergio, said no, wait until 7. I was pretty heated. Took an uber. This place is a dump with terrible customer service and I wont stay here again. Good luck trying to send a comment to Choice hotels via their online contact form, just endless errors.

This hotel smelled moldy and musty in the rooms. I rented 2 rooms and we had to switch room because of how bad the smell was. The rooms are in desperate need of a remodel. This hotel has potential but it can't wait much longer before its too late! The hotel rooms are a bit dirty because of lack of paint and age of building. Parking is free but a walk from hotel buildings. Did not feel like it was a secure parking area. I would not recommend staying here!!

If I could give no stars, I would. We had a late night flight cancelled in Miami that would have taken us home. After standing in lines and getting rebooked on a flight the next day, we called Clarion just after midnight to see if they had a room. They did and we booked it for that night only. Five minutes later, we discovered we were going to be able to get on another flight leaving in just a few minutes. We called Clarion back, got their greeting recording, but when we pressed 1 for Reservations, it just rang and rang. Then we pressed 2 for front desk and no answer. We pressed 3 for manager on duty and that line had not been set up per the message. We called back multiple times with the same result. Finally, about 15 minutes later, we got through and was told that our time to cancel this reservation had expired! We asked how long that time was since we had not had the reservation for more than an hour and they weren't answering their phone. We were told to call Customer Relations the next day. This room was advertised as free cancelation but my credit card was charged $215.83. Again, we never stepped foot on this property. I called to speak to the manager in the afternoon two days later and... you guessed it, no one answered the phone. I called their 800 number for Customer Relations. They took my complaint and said I would hear from them within 5 business days. It's been 3 weeks and nothing. I called Customer Relations again today. Sat on hold for 10 minutes, then chose the function for them to call me back. They called back 20 minutes later to report their system is down and they would call me again in a few minutes. It's been an hour and still no response. Stay far, far away from this business. They do not appear to care about their clients or their own reputation. I will never book at a Clarion Hotel again. I am disputing this charge through my credit card, as well, but they want documentation. How can I document that a business won't answer their phone and won't call me back? Highly frustrating.

• Old smelling rooms and closet doors falling off. • Rooms with a very uncomfortable safe and with a low level of security. • the entrance doors to the room do not close properly and you see outside or the light enters and you hear all the noises from the corridors • A lousy breakfast, delivered in a bag, is not fresh breakfast and no choice or variety. In addition, you must go through a paper to the reception to be able to have breakfast because they do not have the systematized process or with records. • Terrible attention from the dining room staff, they do not offer other products and are unwilling. • The hotel's transportation is in very poor condition, crooked, broken chairs and with a strong smell of fuel, it seems that it is going to stay on the road. • Travel times between the airport and the hotel are every hour and fifteen minutes, they are very long and they do not worry about picking up passengers more constantly. • Elevators are constantly blocked or stopped. • Transport driver staff with little service disposition, without concern for passenger times and schedules. • It is very expensive for the services, quality and facilities, in the area you can get better ones or even cheaper. • Telephone service is very bad, they do not give correct information. • There are few security controls, it is not good to travel with family or children. • They allow passengers to stand at the entrance to drink alcohol and play music on phones or speakers. • The restaurant opens after 7:00 so you can't have breakfast if you leave early for the airport or work.

My flight was cancelled so we booked this hotel at the last minute. If I had read the reviews, I never would have booked it. First, the hotel is in a sketchy area, deserted and run down. Second, it is an old looking hotel with a restaurant that is more like a cafe. You order at the counter, but, there is a horrible smell when you enter the restaurant. The room is tired and old looking like it has not been renovated in a long time. The pillow are half the size of a regular pillow and not comfortable. The worst part is that the hotel has a very loud elevator that you can hear throughout the night. Also, the shuttle only runs ONCE AN HOUR. So if your flight gets in at 5 minutes past the hour, you will have to wait 55 minutes before being able to get another shuttle to the hotel.

The place is big, outdated, and in a so so shape, at least our room was. The beds were comfy and linens clean... The lobby had a bad stench, like half musty half cleaning supplies, not sure what it was... No promised free breakfast. No pool. And cockroaches visit at night. NEVER AGAIN.
