This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I don't stay in a lot of independent hotels. But this art deco combo of hotel and villas was a pleasant surprise. Instead of the hotel room we expected, we were given a villa with full kitchen. It was quiet, and nice. The decorations were a bit sparse, but they were remodelling when we...

Only stayed one night while passing through on our way to the Keys. British family with two teenage boys. Rooms pretty tired looking and could use a makeover, but everything worked and staff OK. Location is great for the beach while avoiding the beachfront noise. You can park one block down in public car parking for $8 for 24 hours.

My friend and I checked into the hotel at 1am on July 26 after we checked out of the Royal South Beach Disaster. The rooms were spacious, the staff was friendly. We were within walking distance of all the activity. We enjoyed the bar in the hotel as well as the rooftop and tiki bar activities. I would only suggest...

Great Hotel, location is center to all the things you would like to do. Only recommendations, need more towels when cleaning up the rooms and ,maybe have some applinances added such as refrig or microwave. Staff was friendly .. No complaints other than it was very humid in the room making everything damp but hey this is Florida.... Overall I...

The only thing this hotel has is the location. The service is horrible. The SAFE was broken and the management did nothing about it. I had to carry all my money and credit cards with me everywhere I went. The smell in the room is terrible. The elevator is old and bad. As I was walking into the elevator, the...

I booked this hotel for a one night layover before a cruise. We chose it because it was one block off the clubs and shopping areas. And it is very convenient, however, there are some issues. Good things: 1) Close to the south beach fun. One block from beach, clubs, shopping, etc. Easy to find. Close to inexpensive public parking....

The only really positive things about this hotel are the location and the price. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, but there were a few problems. There was an awful , permanent smell in the check-in/reception area. The room was a bit grubby, and carpets very stained. Towels were taken away but not replaced twice. I also had tiny...

The room was about half the cost of the other big guys on the block. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location was perfect, and the room was nice. It was quiet.

Do not be fooled by the nice pictures and the three star rating. The service and rooms are horrible. To start with there was no valet person working to help upon arriving or leaving. This was a problem on Saturday on Collins avenue. There is no place to park! How do they expect you to check in. No one assisted...

Parking in South Beach is a challenge. The hotel offers valet service. The city allows the hotel a 15 minute loading zone which holds 3 cars at a time. Most of our guests understand that if the loading zone is full, patience must be exercised until a runner comes from valet to pick up the cars. That is the reality...
