I had a getaway weekend here with 5 other girlfriends! We ended up really enjoying the hotel, the best part was the outdoor areas! There beach bar restaurant was very good, awesome drinks, food was very fresh and delicious! The pool is as nice if not nicer than the pictures reflect! They have tons of lounge chairs with cushions available...

Arriving as a family staying for 5 nights we were given a room to Collins Ave which made it nearly impossibly to sleep (noisy even at 4 a.m.). Did they expect us to go out and party all night long with our 10 years old kids? We changed the room the second day which took the front staff hours and...

Me and my partner stayed at the South Seas hotel for 4 nights last weekend and found it to be perfectly adequate. As a 3* it was fine. The location is perfect. Its situation between the Raleigh (wow!) and the Delano (wow again) on the edge of 17th St right, entrance is on Collins avenue and has direct access to...

If I had paid $100 for this room, I would've been satisfied. But I paid over $300 for a room with stains on the sheets and tired, worn out carpet,. At breakfast I sign said $7.00 for special order eggs benedict. I ordered them and enjoyed them, the bill came back for $8.50. An extra $1.50 service charge was slipped...

Spent the last couple of days at the South Seas, third visit now over the last 5 years. We keep getting treated well and keep coming back. Hotel continues to upgrade a bit each year. Staff are terrific and we like the casual elegance of the place. Relatively quiet (few spring breakers) with just the right size for us. Such...

The South Seas was fantastic. My family and I stayed in one of their standard two-bed rooms. We all LOVED the hammock grove; it was shady but still sunny, and extremely relaxing. Our room was smaller than we would have liked, but since we booked relatively last-minute, I can't complain. There is a gelato shop down the street that is...

My husband and I stayed at the South Seas for 6 nights in November 2006 for the Miami leg of our Florida holiday (we spent the week before in Orlando), celebrating our anniversary. We had originally intended to do things on a tight budget and booked a week at the Clay, but after one terrible night's sleep there we checked...
