The hotel is extremely well located: two blocks from the beach, across the street from the Wolfsonian, with any number of restaurants nearby. The style is classic South Beach art deco with a recent update. Rooms are spacious, though simply and inexpensively decorated. Bed is extremely comfortable. Despite the $15 "Resort Fee," it has no restaurant, no pool, no whirlpool,...

My wife and I booked a cruise out of Miami for our 16th Wedding Anniversary. We decided to fly to Miami a couple of days early to enjoy some relaxing time on Thursday and Friday before embarking on our cruise on Saturday. This hotel was priced better than most of the South Beach hotels. After booking this hotel on Priceline...

Very happy we chose to stay at the Hotel Astor. From the moment we checked in the staff was so cool and helpful. The rooms were very nice, and well maintained. A very nice art deco boutique hotel, felt like going back in time in style!

This hotel has so much potential squandered by poor quality work and broken or damaged rooms. I.E. the under mount sink that had a huge crack, which I can't overstate that has been repaired with a large amount of silicone caulk, the unpainted plaster patch on the bathroom ceiling, and the toilet seat with construction adhesive. The room wasn't very...

Since only staying 1 night before leaving for a cruise, we took a chance here. Arrived at 3:00PM and room still wasn't ready so we were told to come back in an hour. We walked around & shopped, came back at 4:00 & still wasn't ready. They couldn't locate the maid so front desk staff had to go to the...

I booked 3 nights in November 2011 and got what I thought was a great deal at USD221 for a "Superior King Deluxe" room. We checked-in and the unfriendly girl at the desk gave us our keys without much of a word. When I asked if it was a king sized bed she just shrugged her shoulders and said that...
