No, we did not encounter bed bugs or stains in the tub or unclean sheets. What we did find here last week were a charming (and helpful) staff and a colorful and convenient hotel. We stayed in rooms 301 & 302. One of the rooms (I forgot which, I'm sorry) had no ceiling fan, the other rooms' a/c never got...

I said one night here at the hotel. It was different. It was unlike any other. The hotel room felt more like an apartment. I had no complaints while there. Everything worked fine. There is limited parking, luckily for us we got the last spot when we arrived that night.

Called a boutique hotel, this is a family run business very close to South Beach and with about fifteen free parking spaces on a first come first serve basis. The availability of such free parking distinguishes this place from other establishments nearby. The room was clean and came with a fridge and microwave. There's also AC and a ceiling fan...

The price for this hotel is not worth it!! They try and scam you into paying extra also and we booked 2 rooms!! .The parking lot is so small that the person at...

Horrible hotel ! I wonder how people can positivey rate that hotel. It seems nice outside but the rooms are very old, the TV does not offer cable channels...you can only choose local TVs (miami channels)..You do not have CNN or other major news channels.. The owner tries his best to overcharge the rooms according to the miami events. If...

Location is good; decor campy; room was updated, spacious, with microwave, sm. fridge, NO cable TV. Overnight I had a sore throat, bought aspirin, vit C, struggled to stay well next 3 days. Noticed black mold inside/on bathroom ceiling, walls, floor edges, a filthy room AC and hallway air ducts; 2nd flr elevator door is covered with mold; explains funky...

Let's face it, Miami Beach is pricey but not here. Awesome location to walk to everything. Friendly staff. We stopped for two nights and we would have stayed longer if we could. I definitely would come back to stay. Only complaint is that the bed was at the bathroom door. Room was big just odd layout of furniture.

The James is very offbeat and charming, a little artsy oasis in the cool Art Deco area of South Beach. It is quiet, clean and 2 blocks from the beach. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are pretty basic but the porch is interesting and a great place to read. The Lincoln Road pedestrian mall is around the corner, great...

Central placed hotel with very personal service and a very special atmosphere. Fine rooms with fridge, microwave and fine beds. Limited parking, but the staff is very flexible with finding a spot for you. No restaurant, so breakfast is not possible
