I booked a apartment suite for two nights and when I got my room it was not like the pictures at all. The picture had a huge kitchen, dining room and living room. The room I got did not have a dining room and the kitchen was attached to the living room which was tiny. We also had a baby with us and needed the space. We saw the room of another guest and it was massive in comparison to ours. Such a disappointment that you pay the same rate as another guest but are given a much smaller room. Especially with a baby! The hotel does have free happy hour and is centrally located but the false advertising changed my experience.

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback, LeonoraS89! We apologize that your recent experience was not the top notch experience that we strive to provide. The 1 bedroom suites are very spacious and comfortable. The photo's that are online are photo's of the 1 bedroom suites, and the only thing that would be different from suite to suite are minimal things (lamp, frame, etc). We hope that you would give us a second chance as we would love to make it up to you! Please let me know when you will be in town again and I would love to personally handle your reservation. I hope to hear from you soon! Christopher

Collins avenue is just one block from the beach. Hotel gives you a free cabana and towels from your stay on the beach! Parking is ON HOTEL which saves you big bucks from paying a valet to park and deliver your car each day to a parking garage. Drive on and off as you please. Super happy hour included for $1.00 per drink just as a tip. Good, limited selection such as rum, vodka and cranberry, gin and tonic and so on. Bartenders are attentive and pour a good drink. The suite is absolutely apartment size! Huge living room, seperate dining, full kitchen, spacious bedroom and more. They built them big in the art deco stage. I loved the ICE COLD air conditioning. Tons of towels provided in the shower, you will never need to call for more. Fantastic location on Collins. Very tropical, friendly staff in the evening restaurant. Steps from everything. While I did not need the suite as a single, I treated myself and had the extra room. The suites are LESS THAN $200 so enjoy!

I would like to said that I was concern with the hotel reviews, but I most said the hotel and what we experience really surprise me! First of all the staff at the front desk was really helpful and warmed, made us feel at home. Can’t forget about the welcome that we receive by Bruno when we arrived he was really helpful and sweet but not just that during our stay Eddy also was very nice and helpful. Thank you all! See you soon.

Rooms in the back and suite-like with a couch, little kitchenette, dining room table, and clean little bathroom. People were friendly (helped me find a lost iPad) and the location on Collins Ave is a nice touch. A little expensive ($190 per night, even with the wedding discount) but it was a nice little place. The Moreno’s restaurant in the hotel is great and friendly, with excellent quesadillas - plus you get a free drink at happy hour from 6-7.

I was in town on business and saw a great review for the Moreno’s Cuban Restaurant in the hotel. I ate a wonderful meal and got in my car. I was approached by a hotel employee asking if I was staying at the hotel. I said no but I had just dined in their restaurant. He advised that there was a parking fee and that the restaurant should have told me I had to go to the hotel front desk to pay it. There was no sign in the lot posting or advising the parking fee or any valet or attendant in the lot advising same. The employee said it was not my fault but I needed to come in the hotel to pay the fee. This is the worst hotel policy and process have ever experienced. I explained it to the manager and he agreed but he wanted his $10. I hope the $10 was worth it as I will never stay at the hotel when I travel here for business or pleasure.

Good Afternoon Rich B, We are sorry for your experience but the restaurant is a totally separate business than the hotel. They are located next to each other so it might have been confusing, but you parked in the hotel parking lot which has nothing to do with the restaurant. Christopher
