I liked this place, since I was staying 12 days I had to make the option on choosing a budget hotel or have zero spending cash, the other hotels in the area were around 300$ a night. Miami is expensive, not a shocker it does have the most billionaires per capita. The Staff were all friendly. The Pool, lounge and...

Great location and service but the bed is a disgrace. $120 for a night where we can't sleep as we have springs sticking into us and it sags.(room 308), give it a miss. Pool area is great and close to the beach but sleeping is important with a young child

If you're looking for a good hostel in the centre of South Beach, it's a great choice! Everything is close - shops, bars, beach, you can go almost everywhere by foot. Good staff, kitchenettes, swimming pool... I've met a lot of people from different countries and we went to bars and cafes together, so I've found many great friends. But...

The location is absolutely fantastic and the pool is very good (although they falsely advertise an 'Olympic size' pool). Myself and my girlfriend stayed in an 8-bed mixed dorm. My main issue with the place was one particular member of staff, he wouldn't give us towels or a blanket because they aren't for "dorm guests" and made an insulting comment...

I had 2 different rooms in this hotel (my bad). The location is obviously great, the rooms are old and slightly smelly, but clean. Front desk guys and gal were very friendly. No breakfast but fridges, dishes and a place to cook.

I don't write reviews very often, n don't believe all these reviews, when ppl say that "everything was horrible", but I know how one thing can destroy a vacation. I just want to tell, if u decided to go to the tropics hotel, DO NOT leave ur money in the safe. We got $300 stolen, from wallets that were lying...

This hotel is horrible! The rooms are outdated(really bad). They don't change your sheets and just put on back the comforter. There is a really bad smell like mold in the whole building. If you're looking for a cheap/homeless shelter type of place this is the place. Never again! Im warning you!

This place has a terrific location in Miami beach, its a reasonable price for the area. Most of the staff are kind and helpful. The kitchen area is ok for making breakfast, but for other meals its not very well equipped.
