I cannot say enough good things about this Hotel. The staff was an absolute treat to work with and ensured our stay was impeccable. For reference, through a series of flight changes, my wife and I ended up showing up at 6am instead of the normal 4pm check-in time. Sarah, the front-desk attendee put us in a holding room (it's an actual room for guests) so we could rest our travel-weary bodies until our actual room was ready. The rooms were impeccably clean and service was fast and attentive, made evident in our request for additional towels to be delivered to our room that was taken care of fast and without issue.

The pool is definitely a big highlight of this hotel, for good reason. The hotel employs DJ's to perform there and ensure everyone is having a good time, with it technically being two pools with a strip in the middle for people to lounge on. Admittedly, the pool was not open to children over the weekend, for good reason as it's essentially a huge party for adults, but the Hotel actually has a partnership with the hotel across the street for families and guests that want less of a 'party' experience to utilize their rooftop hotel, which my family and I utilized. The kids loved it and it was definitely great of the Goodtime Hotel to be considerate of the desires for an alternative experience for their guests.

With their location being only a couple blocks away from the beach, the Goodtime also has a great partnership with a beach chair service that allows guests to utilize two free beach lounge chairs to soak up the sun in. I couldn't even tell you how much money we saved, because I don't actually know how much the chairs are sold to the general public for as the establishment was turning away people that weren't Goodtime guests and saying that their chairs were only available for guests of the hotel.

Finally, the hotels restaurant, the Strawberry Moon was one of the best moments of our stay. We had several different items on the menu and everything was more delicious than the treat that came before it (I recommend trying the Moonbread!). The service was phenomenal and our waitress never steered us wrong with her suggestions for what was the tastiest options. The Godfather Pizza (you'd think you could eat pizza anywhere so why get it here, but it's SO good!) and the Short Rib (it absolutely melts in your mouth) were big favorites of ours. Additionally, the portions are quite large, so my wife and I ended up very happy with sharing the meal.

Like I said at the beginning of this review, I cannot say enough great things about this place. The location, the service, and the amenities all combine to put this hotel at the top of my list if we ever find ourselves visiting South Beach again. ♥

Hi Swaggnarok! Thanks for your glowing review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us! We're happy that you felt the friendly vibes from our team and attentive service. We truly aim to engage and radiate our vibes with all of our friends! We're glad you were able to check out the pool at Strawberry Moon, this is a unique space of the hotel. Unfortunatley, the weekend pool events are 21+, however we offer alternatives as mentioned if you are looking for a more family friendly space. We're thrilled you were able to check out our exclusive beach area, it is reserved for our hotel guests as part of the resort fee. We're excited you were able to dine with us at Strawberry Moon. Next time, I recommend to check out Brunch as it is such a vibe! We can't wait to welcome you back for your next visit!

The hotel is beautiful, and begs you to take pictures. There were many thoughtful touches and surprises during our visit. Very well maintained - someone walks around touching up the paint, the cleaners are meticulous etc. The staff are very attentive and personable, esp. Sofia on the front desk. Food was very tasty, drinks were nice also. Whilst there were a mix of ages, there is definitely a young focus. The location is great, close to the beach and ocean dr, beach facilities are available at the beach especially for hotel guests. We stayed in a queen room and it was very small, the pictures provide a true representation. There was iced coffee in place of a coffee machine, a steamer instead of an iron etc. We travelled here internationally and had two large, full suitcases, we managed but had to stay on top of it. It did not hamper the experience - this is an excellent hotel and I was very glad to experience it.

Its a nice hotel, amazing location, it has private beach too which is very important in Miami, it has very professional Dj at the pool for weekend( which is a privilege in Miami), but the rooms are super small( you can hardly put two luggages in one room) and there is no refrigerator( they have very small refrigerator in which you can put only one bottle of water). There was a young girl in reception whose name was Diane . Let me tell you guys, I have been in different resorts all over the world, I havent seen a helpful person like her . She had very high undrestanding and she came all over the place with me to give me extra towels( although it was not her responsibility and she could ask other persons to bring towels to my room and make me wait for one hour exactly like what other receptionists do in other hotels). In contrast, she came with me, found towels for me and gave them to me in only 5 min. I hope to see her get promotion because she was totally different from all other Receptionist that I have seen( I have been in different hotels in Dubai, Istanbul, Antalia, Malaysia, Singapour, LA, Dallas, Austin, Vegas and….). So what Iam saying about Diane is based on the experience I have gained in my life. I hope to see her in higher position and I know she deserves to get it.
Thank you Good time hotel for finding an amazing resposible person like Diane. Please know her value💐💐💐

Stayed for 2 nights, together with friends; we had 4 minor kids with us. And that’s the main thing: this is not a family friendly/child friendly hotel. We only found out 2 days before arrival through an e-mail from the hotel with clear guidelines: in weekends the pool area is a no go zone for anyone below 21. Ok, they offer access to the pool of the Angler across the street or beach access a few blocks away but that’s not the same.
Also after reserving and in the weeks before arrival, I contacted the hotel a few times to ask if it would be possible to have our rooms on the same floors given the young age of our kids. I never got an answer and upon check in we got a room on the 4th floor and one on the 6th floor.

Moreover the hotel has all day party music and the crowd is clearly in all day party mode - so to turn this positive, the goodtime is a GREAT option if you want to party, party and party.

The rooms (also the so called suites) are the smallest I experienced in SoBe over the years. And I really mean small; they reminded me of the student rooms while at college/university. No closets, windows can’t be opened, very limited amenities; and bad sound isolation.

House keeping was a special as well: it’s on demand only and for our rooms, both days we only received cleaning at around 6PM (just when we wanted to prepare ourselves for our dinner).

The bottle of Evian that is prominently put on the desk in your room is charged at $7 ; whereas there are some free cans of water hidden in the side of your bed - we only found out on day 2. And the mini fridge, as other people wrote, well, it’s the mini version of mini; totally useless.

After we checked out, I noticed I left some clothes in the hotel; I contacted them through various ways but so far (3 days later) no answer yet. I’ll pass by one of the next days…

Front desk is friendly and honest: when I mentioned upon check out we found the hotel not child friendly, the guys confirmed.

In general, this hotel versus the 20+ others in Miami Beach we experienced over the years is not big on customer service. As an example; both on arrival and on departure, there is just no one there nor someone caring to assist with your luggage. DIY it is.

To end on a positive note: when my kids want to have a great party time with their friends when they turn 21, I gladly will pay for a few nights at the Goodtime hotel.

This boutique hotel has a very millennial styling. It’s great value for your money and comfortable. The pool area was aesthetically pleasing, and the shower pressure was amazing! I loved that it was a 10 min walk to the beach and they offer towels + complimentary 2 hour bike ride as part of the resort fee. A couple things that were cons: one of the towels I unwrapped new, had distinct make up marks on it, so attention to detail would be nice. The breakfast situation is mid, the room service menu isn’t breakfast friendly, and the grab and go is just pastries and coffee. Wished they had more breakfast meal options. I also didn’t think the poolside $30 w/tip cocktails were good enough to justify the price, as down the street I got a $20 cocktail at Stubborn Seed that was exceptional. More pros: the staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially with my 1am check in. They even kindly allowed a complimentary 12pm check out, and gave me the option to pay $50 for a 2pm check out. This was perfect as my flight wasn’t until later. Overall I had a great time at this hotel and think the price corresponds with the quality and value.

Thank you for the review sixspirals. I'm sorry to hear about housekeeping issue. Rest assured, I have passed your feedback on so we can be more mindful of that type of thing moving forward. I'm glad you enjoyed your time with us otherwise though. Regarding your F&B concerns, I am pleased to inform you that we are actually rolling out a completely revamped Grab 'n Go menu with some really new and exciting breakfast items in the near future including breakfast sandwiches, one of which is actually vegan (and really good)! We hope you will pay us another visit during your next trip to Miami to try it out. Hopefully when you return, we will be able to turn that 4 star experience into a 5 star one!

First off let me just say don’t hesitate to book this hotel this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in by far. I mean down to the smell of the front entrance it’s like I just landed on tropical island. Everyone was super nice and helpful. My flight landed earlier which means my room wasn’t due to be ready until 4pm the guy helped me with an early check for reasonable fee which is totally fine. The room is small but super clean and the decor!!!! Lord is out of this world grab your phone get ready to flick it up lol! The pool is on another level of spectacular it’s pretty, it’s clean comfortable and definitely chill vibes I stayed during the week so not sure if the level of noise was a difference but it was quite which was the type of stay I was going for since it was my first solo trip. I definitely enjoyed strawberry moon restaurant and bar and what they have to offer, it was karaoke night and comedy night during my stay and I had a ball. No complaints from me except the gym I would’ve wanted to workout indoors due to the heat and my skin being sensitive to the sun at long periods of time. It’s very close to everything and just an Uber away from other things. The beach is a 5 min walk but plan to catch an Uber to North beach if you want to see clear water. So with that being said go!!!!! What are you waiting for book now lol

This has been a horrible experience. I came with my wife on a mini honeymoon after a small covid times wedding. The front desk and general service is superb however as a hotel it is 3rd world at best. I stay at 20 to 30 hotels a year before work and travel and this was expected to be one of my better stay experiences and even more special a mini honeymoon with my wife. This hotel is horrible. It’s a great hotel to come for a few hours and take Instagram photos and leave. The entire experience is over priced which I’m totally fine with if the service meets the pride. I have called 3 times for towels and sheets. Nothing. We finally just got a brown bag with a few sheets and a blanket. This is worse than a motel 8. You get one roll or toilet paper and a towel for your entire stay (unless it’s more than 3 nights then you are privileged enough for a 2nd role of toilet paper and I assume fresh towels based on a conversation with the front desk. Please don’t stay here. We have one night left and we cannot wait to leave.

We hold ourselves to a higher level of service and appreciate your comments about your stay to improve our guest experience. We aim to to deliver any requested items within 15 minutes, it seems we dropped the ball here, I am sorry . I will make sure to circle back with our housekeeping team to advise them of this. As for the toilet paper, we have taken this back to our teams and are ensuring to have extra toilet paper in the guest rooms. It was my understanding that Francisco reached out to you during your stay to resolve any issues and you were happy with the resolution.

The room is more like a dorm room at a private college than a hotel room costing upwards of $400 per night. The appointments are horrible with the bed jammed up against the wall and no bedside table, clock, coffe maker or music docking station. There is no closet, very little storage for your clothes, albeit 2 small wicker drawers, one that stores on the floor under the bed and a Barbie size refrigerator suitable for only 2 medium apples. While the room is advertised as an Ocean view it should more likely be called a dirty rooftop view with a far sighting of the ocean. The door to the bathroom is clear and doesn't close which makes it very difficult to find any level of privacy particularly as this is an extraordinarily small room. To be clear this is an a la carte hotel where everything is an add-on payment including 10 plus dollars for a 7 oz cup of coffee and a daily rental fee of $20 to use an umbrella at the hotel's private beach. Without a doubt this is a party hotel specifically catering to the under 30 crowd and totally unsuitable for an adult couple or anyone traveling with children. While the location is right in the heart of South Beach only two and a half blocks from Ocean drive and a block away from Collins avenue there are much more comfortable properties for anyone with a little traveling experience under their belt. While the pool at the hotel is beautiful, amenities like lounge pads, larger pool beds or cabanas are reservation only and must be set up in advance. Additionally, there is a security guard monitoring the pool, checking bags and generally acting grim...certainly not very welcoming.
Once again if you're traveling to South Beach to party heavily with all your friends this might be a choice you would consider however if you are looking for a relaxing vacation in a comfortable property that caters to a more experienced and savvy traveler this would not be the hotel to choose

Senseirickk, thanks for your review and honest feedback. We’re sorry that we did not meet your expectations during your stay. We have shared your feedback with our management team and are looking into the details of your stay. We prefer to call the rooms cozy as they are intended to be a small part of the good time experience. We’re sorry you did not feel comfortable in your room. We do understand our pool parties over the weekend may not be for everyone. However, we really want to make sure everyone is completely satisfied. We have different alternatives, such as the Anglers Hotel pool, which provides more of a relaxing pool experience. We stayed for one night. Daria at reception was such delight being so smiley, helpful and extremely polite. The other staff were ok, nice enough but did come across pretentious.
The decor and pool were stunning. Rooms were mediocre, cute but had no proper wardrobe due to the size of the rooms. We had a king bed which was so comfortable, I had the best nights sleep in ages.
We stayed Friday-Saturday and although there was a pool party, we werent inconvenienced or disturbed. We checked out the our pool from 8am-11am then went across to the pool in the Anglers across the street which you are provided access to, this was much more our scene, quiet and relaxing.
We parked in the car park next door which was 30 dollars per 24 hours instead of the hotels 50 dollars per night fee which is ridiculous.
Short walk to the beach and they do have a private access for hotel guests but we didn’t bother as the hotel pools were lovely.
I wish they had a water machine in the lobby/ at the pool area like they do in other hotels.
Overall the stay was good and the hotel location is brilliant.

This is a great new hotel and is very nice. The people who work here really make the hotel. Upon arrival with check-in the 1st floor staff along with the mgr Ana, Militza, Diana and Daria are all amazing and really make you feel at home. Really nice touch that they offer you a glass of champagne upon arrival too. The rooms are tiny but thats the point, you only need to be in your room to sleep and shower. Everything about this hotel is a vibe. Also shout out to my man Jimmy at the bar, he will hook it up and make sure you have everything you need. Jimmy makes the best Arnold Palmer's ( a mix of lemonade and black iced tea) which is perfect for a refreshing drink after being in the sun and in between sipping on LeBron's Lobos tequila. Major major props to Jimmy, please go see him and find him. Also shout out to the bartender Karleigh ( i hope i spelled that right lol) as well, she is really good and makes sure you are comfortable and makes some really good drinks. The bar at this hotel makes sure you get the full value of what you pay and they are really personable. This is a great staff all the way around and I will most certainly be back, this is a special hotel and staff. The hotel is in a great location and not to mention the concierge will hook you up with places to go and eat as well. This hotel is a vibe and shout out to Jimmy at the bar again, he deserves his props!!!! Hurry up and book, trust me.

From my time at the hotel gave me the impression it’s a party hotel but they have an amazing restaurant, pool, bike rentals included and yoga in the morning. You can definitely make it work with the teens. In regards to the room, I’m not aware of any connecting rooms but I believe they’ll be more then happy to put you in rooms that are side by side.

Hello Geri, Our sister property is The Gabriel on Ocean Drive, which is part of Hilton's Curio Collection. When our guests don't want to attend the pool parties, they are allowed to access their pool for a more relaxing experience. Thank you for your inquiry!

Greetings Gina! It's difficult to say when you should be at the pool. It opens at 7 AM and there are only 12 loungers that are available for complimentary use. If you would like access to them, I would recommend being at the pool within the first couple hours. However, the daybeds can be rented ahead of time on our website. Please be aware that for the duration of Spring Break we have pool party activations Tuesday-Sunday. After Spring Break we plan on being back to our Friday-Sunday programming with the rest of the week being a more relaxed experience. Thank you,
