I forgot to mention in my previous review. The water pressure in the shower was absolutely awful. This went far beyond water saving!! I thought surely there was an issue but from the feedback I got from the staff, not the case. By far, the worst I've ever experienced at a hotel. So thankful I was only here for one...

We have stayed here for four years in a row and there has been a distinct change in service. We still love the location, the pool, the room, beach and tiki bar but new management seems to be skimping on service. Examples are: no maid service twice in a six night stay, turn down service only twice, a fifteen minute...

Dear scmdux, First of all, I would like to thank you for being our guest for so many years and for complementing our enhancements in the lobby and check-in area! Also, a big thank you for taking the time to review your latest stay and pointing out the deficiencies that you encountered in our service standards. For your reference, we...

Stayed at the Palms at a friend's recommendation. The room was a decent size and spotless. The check in process was smooth and the staff was pleasant. Pedro, Arturo and Dayron at the Tiki Bar were all great. They were both attentive and personable which made our stay that much better. The pool and the beach were both beautiful, and...

$430 a night, including taxes, the now-ubiquitous "resort fee" (which means towels at the pool). And that was the rate after they adjusted it. The room: Well, it was as advertised, 270 square feet. But do you realize how small a 270-square-foot hotel room is? The bathroom was woefully small. The closet was large -- but who cares? I asked...

Dear Bill P, Thank you for choosing to stay at The Palms Hotel & spa and for complementing on our pool, well maintained grounds and Essensia’s excellent food and service. We apologize, if you were inconvenienced by the added gratuity to food and beverage bills onsite; however, we are visited by many foreign travelers, who are not necessarily aware of...

I've reviewed this hotel before & have essentially the same things to say. We stayed for an extended weekend in November 2016. The property remains spotless and a tropical oasis. The beach & pool continue to be fantastic & the location overall is wonderful. The staff & service is professional, courteous, & welcoming. Again, the rooms tend to be on...

My daughter and I headed to Miami for a couple of days of sunshine at The Palms. The spa was fabulous, but our favorite activity was spending time on the beach. The staff at the beach was attentive and incredibly friendly, especially Leoner Reus.

We stayed at The Palms for four nights in conjunction with a destination wedding and found it delightful in every way. Unlike the scores of glitzy hotels on Miami Beach, this one has a relaxed but elegant style: picture double height French doors, verandas with ceiling fans, tropical plants indoors and out, and lush, private grounds. Our city-view room was...

The hotel was beautiful. I had a ocean front view which was amazing to look at during sunrise and sunset. The shower was great. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Somewhat expensive but worth it!

Stayed for the weekend have no complaints at all. The hotel is a true diamond. Room was nice, view was amazing, the check in process very smooth. The guy who checked us in was very friendly and attentive, don't remember his name but he had curls and he is from Germany. The team at the pool bar was awesome. (Diego,...

Everything about the hotel is mediocre. For the money, you'd be best to take your dollars elsewhere, and in South Beach there are plenty of better options. The hotel, and the style is outdated. South Beach has so many luxury hotels to choose from, The Palms, in my opinion, is not luxury, not even close. Think of a mid western...
