I stayed four nights with my girlfriend last November. Rooms are small and smelly, bathrooms are filthy. I also spotted bugs on the rug. Further, the building is located in a very noisy area, so if you are given a room on the first floor, just ask for another one on the second as you will not sleep. Our room...

Ok it was my first trip to Miami and I was super excited. When my friends and I aarived at The Clay Hotel it looked nice inside by the reception area and I was also enthused about the cafe that was attached to it. So I was impressed until we got to the rooms. Uhhhhh, they were terrible. Old uncomfortable...

I have been staying at the Clay for over 15 years. I have had mostly good experiences, and occasionally not so good. In any case, the Clay feels like an old friend. It makes travel to the dazzling deco district of South Miami Beach affordable - and fun. Since the Clay is linked the one the the Miami Beach youth...

We came to South Beach for the weekend and stayed at The Clay Hotel. Granted it we were right on Washington two blocks over from the beach and right in the middle of nightlife so the location is excellent! The rooms suck thou! We had a double bed "family room" but it was small the carpet was dusty and dingy...

Just got back from four days at the Clay and after reading some of the reviews I was scared. I have to say- all in all- for the price I was very pleased. It was clean and pretty much what I expected. The people at the desk don't greet you with a smile but I guess that's what you get...

I had problems with this hotel and do not recomend it. ROOM - almost no water in the shower, no curtains in the windows (if you like the sun in your face at 7 o'clock be there!!) and the air conditioner was very noise (we had to turnn off at night to get sleep). The vallet service - you pay...

This was our second trip to south beach, we loved espanol way the first time and wanted to Stay right close this time. The clay looks great until you get in the room. Really a dump. Bathroom smelled of old cigar smoke. Tub was dirty. Sink did not drain. And I am not sure what that white stain is on...
