We're both 22 and had the best stay at the Clay. Located right on Washington Ave, irks a 10 minute walk (2 blocks) from the beach and walking distance to so many restaurants, shops and also the Lincoln Road Mall. Alfonzo at the front desk was amazing with our check in. The only downsides: it is not a traditional hotel....

My sister and I stayed at this place for Spring Break! We fell in love at night with the music and view outside. Española way is the place to be! It was our first time here and definitely not our last. All my friends would come and hang out in our little balcony too. The staff is kind and accommodating....

My husband and I stayed here 4 nights and loved it! Front desk staff were helpful and friendly! This hotel consists of 4 buildinga and 3 floors, no elevator. Free breakfast consists of frozen waffles, toast, cereal, coffee and juice. We stayed in room 352, it was smaller than an average hotel room, but still had plenty of space. We...

After reading a few reviews about reservations cancelled, we were hesitant to book the Clay, but the pictures sold us. We booked the Clay for a nights stay prior and post a 7 day cruise with carnival. Tired and excited to arrive in beautiful Miami and South Beach, we put our bags in the room and immediately left to explore...

Great location, close too the beach and a lot of restaurants. The hotel provides umbrella and lounge chairs on the beach, great perk. Furniture is garage sale quality. Thin walls, could hear everyone walking down the hall. The shower was updated and had good pressure. Best point of this hotel is Location!

Our room was very basic. It had been recently renovated though, with a very nice bathroom and shower. There was no hair dryer or hand lotion, just soap and shampoo. The bed was comfortable and our room was quiet. The hotel has lots of charm and character, with beautiful Mexican tile work in the lobby and staircase. Evening front desk...

Although the accommodations are minimal (small room with no decorations), it's right on Espanola Way near awesome Spanish restaurants. Tapas y Tintos is a must if you want authentic Spanish food and live music/flamenco dancing. There is currently construction on the road, which makes shuffling luggage around more difficult. We received vouchers for free breakfast at a restaurant on Espanola...

My friend and I came a day early for our Miami trip, while the others were joining us the next day. In the mean time we wanted a decently priced hotel with good service. For a small boutique hotel, I was very impressed! The room is on the smaller side, but it was VERY clean! Bathrooms very updated and neat....

The Clay is very well located. It is a short walk to the beach and also to the many restaurants and shopping areas of South Beach. The room was simple but clean, modern and quiet. The tour bus stops just across Espanola Way so we were able to tour interesting parts of Miami for two days (Vizcaya, Wynwood etc.) ....
