Had a couple of days to kill prior to boarding a cruise ship, decided to spend it in South Beach, but didn't want to drop hundreds per night on a local hotel. A thorough search led us to the Viscay, which is just one block off Ocean Avenue yet within the art-deco area of town. Very easy walk to the...

But the Viscay turned out to be a real nice surprise. We usually stay in upper end hotels like you would find on Ocean Ave so we weren't expecting much from the Viscay. (FWIW-we are Florida residents) We were wrong in our assumptions. Friendly, courteous staff; CLEAN and surprising large rooms; truly centrally located in SoBe. About a block west...

We stayed there for 3 nights which we enjoed very much. Good location, helpful staff, they upgrade up for bigger room upon check in ! Thank you. Just 1 block after Ocean drive but it was quiet. We didn't had problem for noise. We would like to stay there again for next visit !

In a few words; awesome location within walking distance of lots of activities; rock-hard bed was a drag; croissants and french pastries were as good as you'd find in Paris.

We stayed here for two nights before a cruise, and are happy with our choice. The hotel is at the intersection of 10th and Collins, just one block from Ocean Drive (and the Clevelander, if you're into that). For a hotel smack in the middle of the action of SoBe, I found it to be amazingly quiet! Sure, there's traffic...

This hotel is in a great location for South beach and all of the bars and restaurants. It is only one block from the beautiful beach. It is easy to drive to from the airport and is near alot of other nice areas in Miami too. The rooms are clean. As it is on a main road, it can get...

My husband and I stayed at the Viscay Hotel for a long weekend over the Easter holiday. It's centrally located with very easy walking to the great shopping and restaurants on Ocean Drive, Collins Ave and Lincoln Street and it's just one easy block to the beach. While not opulent, our room was clean and quite large (upgrade to the...

We were greatly surprised by the hotel. The front office staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. We stayed on the first floor due to no elevator. the rooms were clean, and the ac was a bit noisy but nothing to worry or not sleep through. The Shower was GREAT, be careful not to turn on FULL b/c you can splash...

Like many other travelers, I was simply in need of a decent, clean place to crash which was centrally located and cheap. Viscay is that and not much more. Very polite and helpfull staff and the rooms are small but clean. The Clevelander is a block away and there is a bike & scooter rental around the corner which the...
