I stayed here for a week in December 2023, I’m a diamond elite member of IHG hotels. The customer service is just awful at this property, the people who work here are unprofessional and there is no indication that management is even aware of the shortcomings. Allegedly, my room was upgraded but it was tiny, dirty, noisy and had no view. The music at the pool is so loud you can hear the words and easily sing along in your room. This goes on until midnight or later. One day housekeeping simply didn’t come at all. The staff had to have me come back to the desk because after running my credit card they somehow lost the number. There is very little other than its location on the beach to recommend this property - it’s well below the usual standard set by Kimpton properties. …

Excellent beach side service from Jude and PJ. Definitely would recommend coming to the Surfcomber, will be back myself! The Piña Colada was awesome and they made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Thank you!!

It was a Perfect Stay!!! At this wonderful hotel. The checking process was smooth and amazingly done. I arrived late around 2am , the night auditor was perfectly On Point!! Courteous, and ready to give us the best out of him. Good Job! I have to say that the housekeeping staff and bell staff was also amazing. Water workout with Carla was great. So nice to exercise after laying on the bed in the heat. The instructor was great, good energy and nice rythems to go with the workout. The water was great too. Would go again anytime.

Beautiful hotel and right on the beach. Great food , drinks, and service at the beautiful pool. We loved the options in the room for wine, snacks, and drinks. The restaurant is great. Location is in walking distance to a bunch of great restaurants. We will definitely be back!

We always stay here prior to our cruises. Customer service is fabulous. The food has gotten better over that of prior years. We did miss the happy hour at High Tide, though. Gulam (bellman) is always friendly and helpful. It was also nice to see the pool staff whom we’ve enjoyed over the years. Special thanks to Juan for taking care of us during check-in and check- out. Despite not being able to get in the room early, he made sure we were comfortable while we waited.

I took the aquazumba class with Carla and it was amazing I really loved it she was such a great dancer and all her choreographies were awesome! Definitely recommended to everyone who stays at the hotel.
