I was meeting some people in Miami to continue on to an Antarctica trip but because I was flying from Boston in February I booked to arrive a few days early in Miami Beach just in case of weather problems. I like small boutique-y hotels so I booked the Marlin. My room was huge and everything worked. The bed was...

The Marlin Hotel is truly a gem in the middle of the art deco area. The location is excellent, only one block form Ocean Drive and the beach entrance who could ask for more. There is a multitude of restaurants (cuisines for every taste) in the area including the hotel's restaurant which is excellent. Our room was beautifully appointed, the...

A cozy, small boutique hotel in the art deco area of South Beach. The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. Location was great. Breakfast is included but the true gem is the Italian restaurant located downstairs. Osteria del Teatro offers an extensive menu that attracts locals as well as hotel guests. The Happy Hour is very nice and the bar...

Spent three nights at the Marlin before a cruise and was extremely pleased with it. The main highlights are the location, amenities and cleanliness, staff and breakfast. Location is in the heart of south beach. Taxi from the hotel was a quick ride, and cost $35 (Flat rate). Hotel to cruise terminal was metered and was about $25. You are...

Superb hotel, great friendly and helpful staff, fantastic room. The restaurant was also very good indeed with huge portions and a very good wine selection. The cocktails were fabulous, and the chilli one will blow your head off. I would highly recommend and will be going back.

Spent 3 nights in a nicely furnished, art deco, comfortable and spacious room with free breakfast to boot, which is not common. A wait of three to five minutes on check-in as there is only one person. Loud conversations was heard from the adjoining room via a closed common door.

Stayed in a corner suite which was really big and with a massive bathroom. Hotel is in a great location near the beach and in an old art deco building.
