Mount Desert, Maine
Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

The receptionist, the rooms, bathrooms, cocktails, appetizers, breakfast all were excellent. No it doesn't have a pool but then it doesn't have the hoopla that goes with one. Block from the beach, bars and restaurants. My only regret is we didn't have time for dinner at the restaurant. very friendly staff, talented mixologist.

Great location, friendly staff, amazing restaurant. One minor complain was that we were located right above the kitchen so it was a little loud until the restaurant closed. The adjoining room walls are paper thin so ask before you get an adjoining room if anyone is staying next to you. We had a very loud couple next door to us....

We only stayed for one night in what I think was the 'entry level' room. Check in was speedy and intimate. Our room was spacious, bed large and comfortable, lovely decor. We were very pleased with our choice for the price. Breakfast ok for a continental. We struggled getting the TV to work properly we aren't techphobic we gave up...

The Marlin hotel in Miami beach was really a nice experience, we stayed two nights and had fantastic service and I’m demanding when it comes to service, with my over 70 hotel nights/year. At every time passing the reception you got a warm welcoming you back again, nice! Valet parking also worked fine. They also offered a minor continental breakfast...

The hotel was lovely, and we enjoyed the room and the location. However a couple of problems: 1. Arriving at 3, there were many cars on Collins ave., and only two spots for valet parking, so we had to circle a couple of times. 2. For us, the mattress was too soft, and it bothered his back.

Dear MOFtravel, Greetings from sunny South Beach! While one of the advantages to being located on Collins Avenue is our close proximity to the best of South Beach, including Espanola Way, Lincoln Road and the splashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean, the street can have a bit of traffic and we apologize if accessing the valet parking spots caused you...
