We stayed here for the location after a long flight and pre-cruise. It was very convenient and it was basic but it did the job. There is a free shuttle that ran every 15 min and was a short drive away. It was nice it had a lounge. It had just enough food for a snack and drink in the evening and breakfast in the morning. We did enjoy the pool in the evening as well.

1) Why, when you have two gray haired people with large luggage standing in front of you, would you send them to the 9th floor when the bedroom for the suite is on the 10th floor and there is a narrow spiral stairway between? How was your staff thinking we’d get them upstairs? 2) The so called lounge for the 9th and 10th floor has crap fruit (lousy apples and oranges … none actually fresh), one bag of potato chips and three granola bars. (I counted) No decent appetizer type food… nothing … no wine or other adult beverage. Calling this a lounge is a misuse of the word. There however was a staff person who told me to go downstairs and spend what turns out to be a lot of money in the bar. Her claim was there was no wine available… when I could see there were two cases of wine behind her. Was she lying and just lazy? 3) The food and service in the bar was good. 4) The sofa in the living room area was put together with the one of the cushions backward. There was no blanket in the room. I called twice 30 minutes apart to get someone to bring one. 5) There was exactly one towel available at the pool, no staff to be seen, and no one picking up used towels. 6) The hotel was spotlessly clean.

I nearly cancelled my stay based on numerous poor reviews. We were in town for a quick pre cruise stay. With that, I’m 110% thankful we kept our reservation and enjoyed this property. We arrived at 9:30p after a delay filled travel day (severe weather) to the greetings of friendly front desk staff. Melody checked us in, and she did a fabulous job. She was very efficient, while also making sure to highlight available amenities. The lobby and immediate grounds are immaculate. Yes, not recently updated, but absolutely fine and very well kept. Upon entering our room we found it to look exactly like the website photos, to include it’s spotless. I’m very fussy and when I say spotless, I mean that literally. During our short stay, we also enjoyed the restaurant and pool. Both food and service at the restaurant were very good, with reasonable prices. And we found the pool area to be clean, and very pretty. Overall, we had a great experience here! I’m a lifetime status member with Marriott, and this property is one I would return to.

Shuttle pick up runs every 15 minutes. Checkin with several people that arrived from the airport with us, but was super quick. Comfortable beds, dinner was good and fast in the bar. Monique at the front desk was very helpful and everyone we came into contact with smiled.

I have never been more disappointed in a Sheraton! Here is a list of a few things: - A lot of mildew on bedroom windows - Lukewarm water temperature showers no matter what time of day but hot water coming out of sink tap?! - Old room with strong smoke smell in bathroom - Heavy staining on carpets - Elevators extremely dirty - Key cards were needed to get elevators to work for all floors - this was not explained at check in and many guests were stuck in elevators until we filled them in (once we figured it out) - Pillows were meager - The front desk were friendly and apologized - Bellmen were awesome!

This place only looks good in the pictures. Close to the airport but other then that it not a great location. They used a strong air freshener to cover the smell of mildew this Hotel is 20 years past a face lift.. it was very dirty with garbage around the grounds, the pool area was nice but unkept. The restaurant was way over priced 35 a plate for breakfast, FOR EGG’S? Must be imported! We paid 330 a room and the beds and pillows were way below standard for a Sheraton. The staff wasn’t real friendly and when we asked if there was a shuttle to the cruise port we were told they dont do that any more. The next day while waiting for our Uber the guys at the front door asked where we needed to go and we told Him. He replied I can take you there but we had already ordered a Uber, so he could have made the money but the staff said they didn’t do that?? We could have traveled together ans there was 7 of us but instead had to order 2 Ubers. Also the coffee place the staff were rude and acted like they couldn’t speak english, but we heard them speaking to others Ok… When we bought a sandwich asked for mustard and it was so old it was hard see in the picture. DONT STAY IN THIS DUMP! Added a few pictures of outside wish now I would have took some inside as well.

We were arriving after 7pm and picked the Sheraton Miami airport due to the location to the airport and price point. Unfortunately the bus took some time to come to our terminal and when it arrived it was full so we ended up waiting on an Uber which was around $10. Riley gave us a great check in experience and the club lounge floor was good with good access into the lounge which still had food and drinks on until 9pm. Rooms were a bit dated but the hotel was great for an overnight airport stop.

We spent one night on our way to the Caribbean and another on our way home. The first night we were on the club lounge floor. The refrigerator was on the floor by the bed. An accident waiting to happen if you get up in the night. The food at the club was good and the waitress was very pleasant. Unfortunately one man was on a speaker phone conducting business the whole evening. Phone calls should not be allowed especially when your room is on the same floor. we were on the fourth floor the second night. No refrigerator. Both rooms are tired. We had lunch one day and drinks/appetizers another evening. Good food. Good service especially Monique at the front desk and Jorge at the bar. The drivers of the shuttle were courteous.

We stayed the night before and after our recent cruise. We are shopping elsewhere for our next cruise . The hotel offers complimentary shuttle from the airport . They don’t tell you you have to flag the bus down as it drives by in the busy Miami Airport . The bus passed us by twice while we were on hold on the phone trying to get an answer on how to get the bus. Finally he saw us and stopped . Thankfully they allowed us to check in early as they had available rooms . The hotel is on the driveway to the airport with the only thing nearby a car rental outlet . There appeared to be nothing in close proximity as for Food or shopping other than the in hotel store and restaurant/ bar. During check in they didn’t make us feel welcomed but more like we are just doing our job . We went to the room , having to swipe our card in the elevator as security measure 👍. The hallways and common areas were in need of cleaning / vacuuming and the lobby smelled of too much Febreeze. The room was clean , much cleaner than the common areas . The bed was comfortable . The bathroom was clean and shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. Despite the construction activity outside and airport next door the room was quiet. Everything but one lamp worked. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room , common amenities in most places . We ate at the Rickenbacker, the on site restaurant, for lunch and had dinner at MBark the on-site lounge . The menu is the same in both , sharing the same kitchen . The food and service was good. During our stay my card as charged 10% more than the agreed upon rate and a $50 “ incidentals ‘ charge without my knowledge . This happened on both stays . The overages did come off , as well as the incidental charge one week after our stay. Also a charge for another guests restaurant charge was charged to my bill and after I complained it was checked on and removed. Staff did apologize for this . The pool area looked clean and the waterway behind the hotel had some turtles sunning on some logs . The stay was comfortable, but we didn’t feel welcomed. The little things added up , shuttle , unclean common areas, nothing nearby, bill errors making as feel this isn’t where we want to be again . Maybe if I was just laying over it would be okay for a night. The cruise port is about twenty minutes away by Uber. Bottom line, with the Sheraton name we expected more.

The girl who checked me in was very disinterested in her job and me. I arrived to check in and was told my room wasn’t ready and then silence. So then I asked when will it be ready ? “30 minutes”. So she saw me struggling with all my bags and just starred at me and didn’t offer to hold my luggage while I wait or say maybe go to our restaurant. Just go away and leave me alone. It’s hard to explain in words but it was very off putting. Then after 2 hours of waiting I finally messaged in the app “any updates on my room?” And got the reply “your room has been ready”. Well gee thanks for telling me as I just sit here ! And then another 15 minutes of nothing and I wrote “are you going to send me my digital key then ?” That’s what I expected her to do after telling me my room was ready and should have done as soon as it was ready. Everything was like pulling teeth to get any answers and were just one word and vague. Normally it takes a lot for me to complain so this was totally bad behavior by your staff trust me it was all making me feel very unwelcome.
