stayed here many times............very close to the port 1 mile away, the monorail station 300ft away, the free trolley picks up about 200ft away, grocery store about a block away, very convient to lots of stuff.............Bellman Jose Perez is awesome, not pushy, VERY friendly and very helpful with Uber rides since not alot of taxis around now, best part of the stay...........rooms were little ragged and need updating for the price they were charging (we optied to us our Marriott points instead because per night was VERY expensive) BUT clean. They are doing lots of construction BUT wasnt a deal breaker for us..........ONLY thing we didnt like was the Conceirge service was non-existant!!! (called for weeks about Covid testing options in the area, no answer and when someone finally answered, they were NO help at all and didnt seemed like they wanted to either. Strange that a "Conceirge" didnt know or understand what they job is supposed to do.)…
Stayed in Marriott biscayne Bay in 3 to 4th of May. Good experience although hotel under renovation. Clean rooms. Mr. Yazdi P was helpful and friendly as he had assisted me with some packages. He was kind and patient enough to get all of them as I had quite a few.
Stayed at Hotel on April 22nd for one night stay and needed assistance with transportation to the port which Jose Perez coordinated and was great. Also Jose helped my mother w/ luggage and made her feel like a Queen. Always friendly and polite when seen us at hotel. Jose Went beyond to make sure we where helped and assisted us . Thanks
I don’t know why every one wrote bad reviews about this place. Clearly it says pool is under construction. Anyway I have Awesome experience. We came from the cruise which is at 9am. They gave early check in. My return flight is at 8:00 pm. They gave late checkout too without any extra charges. Jose the bell man was very kind and helpful. He kept all my luggage in cloak room. Room service is good. My Room was ocean view and it was neat and worth it. Because In Miami everything is expensive. With this price we are happy and we had a good experience. Thanks Marriott !!!!
I stayed at the hotel last week. Before arriving at the hotel I try to print the Marriot Form Discount in order to have it on hand. But was impossible to do. As soon I arrive I try to explain the reason I can't print and ask if possible send the form via email to someone in order to continue the process. The first words were as per Corporate we cant do that, as per corporate you need to use the Bussines Center, as per corporate... Was frustrating because I have a hard time, they suppose to apply to LEARN and no one was able to Empathize with the situation, completely different on the property where I work. As per Corporate In the property, I work we Listen, Empathize, Apologies, React and Notify.... in the end, I left the Hotel and go to my property to print the form and go back to process the Check-In. Requested the Mobile Key several times and never received it. Also on the first night, we have an issue with the Physical Key and the access to the parking. My son went to the Front Desk with his ID and request the new key and the answer was to call the valet we can not re-issue the key. The sad part of this, Besides I am working for some property belonging to MARRIOT on my time off I receive groups (50 or More) and also recommend the hotels that I stay, Grea Location Yes, No great Customer service like Marriot Standard.…
My wife and I went down for one night as a quick trip. The service was perfect especially since we had a late check in and Lily was terrific. The MOST AMAZING part was that I left my watch in the room and after we checked out the staff was very helpful and said to check back in. 2 weeks later I followed back up and an outstanding member Safety and Security Officer Yazdi Patel assisted me in looking for the watch, located it, and has shipped it back to me, ALL IN ONE DAY OF MY CALL! THANK YOU ALL FOR THE TERRIFIC SERVICE.
Nice stay at the hotel even though it was going through renovations. Room was a Bay view and would have been nice if we could have opened the door to the outside. Unfortunately they are doing work to them. The room was nice but a little dated. Had a buffet breakfast in the hotel next day that was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful the full stay. This was our second time staying there.
Staff is very attentive. From the moment the car pulled up, we were welcomed with smiles. The front drive staff, bellman and the front desk team were very welcoming and helpful. We received a room overlooking the marina, which is an amazing view: seeing the yachts, water sports and you can see over to the Miami Beach area. It has a prime location and a variety of culinary options to choose from. Thank you for a memorable experience.
All in all, this was a pretty good hotel. HOWEVER, the entire pool and outside lounging areas were closed. The whole deck was torn up and in various states of being completely re-done. Why would you want to stay 2 days for a pre-cruise mini-vacation in Miami and not have a pool...or even an outside area where you could relax...available. I am a little mad at Marriott because they should have said the whole facility was closed down. Had I known that, I would not have booked there. The construction will be underway through December 2022. Moreover, the location does not have much of an ocean view, as a gigantic condo complex is parallel to the hotel and hence, you only have a small "peek-a-boo" view from some of the rooms.
We were treated so well while we stayed at the Marriott Biscayne in Miami. The hotel was beautiful and well cared for. Our rooms overlooked the bay area. What a sight especially at night! Our rooms were not ready as we arrived early. The bellman Jose Perez was fantastic! He not only took our luggage so we could wander about, he also gave us excellent advice on places to eat and explore! We needed to get things out of our bags and he took care of us!! We will definitely stay here again!
