Great experience, friendly staff, well located, public parking for $20 in/out, the only observation is bathroom with pubic hair around tub walls and floor. Great value for your money if you want to stay in Downtown Miami / Brickell.
Drain is very slow in bathtub when taking a shower so you end up standing in a small lake of water; not at all appetizing. Changed rooms, but second room was no better. Some plumbing maintenance might be helpful.
Great location, hotel needs to be updated. hotel rooms are old and some of the rooms need some love. For the price i would expect more, but then again it is Miami. The room had carpet bubling and the shower drain was clogged and the curtain had mold
Staff was very helpful and assisted in helping our stay. we had a unexpected guest arrive, staff assisted in bringing us a cot to accommodate her stay. Assisted in our need for transportation to the cruise port.
Small pool and no front desk assistance. I asked for a blanket and it was never received. The breakfast was great but was supposed to be included in my room rate. However I was charged. Great location downtown and easily accessible to public transportation. Road noise was loud.
The Hyatt Regency Miami ranks towards the very bottom of our Hyatt portfolio experiences, even compared to the more "budget" offerings like Hyatt House/Place. We were placed in a handicap room for some reason that didn't have any accessible towel rack from the shower. The one it did have was 8" above a small cabinet, which was across the room from the sink, so keeping toiletries within reach was not easy (I can't imagine how someone in need of accessibility accommodations would cope). Also, the sink was designed by a masochist, who angled the basin in such a way that any reasonable amount of water pressure sprayed water all over your crotch and floor. Oh, and the shower didn't drain. There was a "white noise" machine by the bed which couldn't compete with the bustle of Miami traffic, so we were interrupted multiple times throughout the night with excessive noise. But, that's understandable given the central location near the highway and downtown.…
One of the most enjoyable experiences I have had the pleasure of being engaged. The training of your front desk people is amazing. I would recommend any and all I know to utilize your facility. I would like to come again in the fall and winter to enjoy the weather.
Provided a great customer experience. Room was very clean and the location is very accessible to almost everywhere. I had a great time! Would definitely come back and tell my family & friends my experience.
Huge Disappointment. Not expected Miami Hyatt Regency in such poor & worn condition. Yes. it's a very convenience location. But I can't accept stains bed sheets and towels and rugs, Rusty sink, bad condition of the chair, paints peeling off from the elevator and hanging. broken floor in the elevator. Swim pool shuts down at 7:30am after my son got into the pool without any advance notice. it's not acceptable, I requested switch room after one night, unfortunately, it's the same.. the entire Miami Hyatt Regency Hotel need a major revamp to meet the standard of a Hyatt Hotel.. If not, this location will ruin the representation of Hyatt
The Staff were always helpful, efficient and friendly. I value customer service so I give this hotel 4 stars. I did not give 5 stars because the room was underwhelming and shabby. The bolt lock didn't work on the door, the shower faucet was difficult to turn on and off, the ironing board was functioning but the board itself was broken and had an area that had had a piece broken off but was disguised by the ironing board cover...shabby, shabby, shabby!!! The bed and the Internet were the good parts of the room.
