This hotel was past horrible didn’t look nothing like the picture. Gave us the room they wanted to not what we asked for. I asked about it they argued me up and down I booked through Expedia a third part when I booked trough them over the phone Tried talking to the employees they were rude so was the manger. When you call either they hang up or don’t answer at all. Lobby smelled just like an ashtray walking cigarette smells like cats old carpet . I was very disappointed with the service and room. I’ve been to Miami plenty of times never ran into a hotel like this the money they charge should be ashamed of there self I will never go back !

Hotel's Favourite
Got to hotel at 12:45 pm and our room was ready. Checkin quick and easy. Was assigned room 603- large corner room w 2 double beds and sofa bed overlooking bayside marketplace. No complaints about room. Everything was neat and clean in room, with nice Dove bathroom amenities. . No complimentary coffee or tea in lobby anymore, but there is a coffeemaker in room. The holiday inn sign is gone from front of hotel, and hotel will now be named Biscayne Palm. Changeover is in a month or 2 as I was told by front desk. But menus have new name on them. We have been to this HI many times and will definitely miss it as we always get on room with Ihg points, and location to cruise port, shopping and restaurants can’t be beat.

Our travel agent booked us this hotel for the night before our cruise. Later I heard some horror stories and then checked the reviews. Needless to say, I was very concerned about staying at this hotel and if I could have switched I would have. I am happy to say that our experience wasn't nearly as bad as the reviews. Yes, the hotel is worn and tired, but our room was as clean as I could expect and the staff were trying to be helpful. We were pleased to find a shuttle for $8 per person available the morning of our cruise. It was quick and easy and less expensive than taking two cabs or Ubers at that time. Would I stay here again? Probably not, especially since there are hotels near the airport with better reviews and much less expensive. But it was fine for the one night we stayed.

This hotel is disgusting don't stay here. Our room was 500.00 per night and I felt like I was in a homeless shelter, I'm sure they are nicer. My husband and I are not la di da people just looking for a nice Hotel to start our holiday and when we entered our room our hearts dropped. Dirty, mold in the tub surround, carpets look like they are 50 years old. Please people don't give them any money. They should be knocking it down.

We rented a one bedroom king suite for our family. I am normally pretty easy-going and don’t mind overlooking little things, but there were so many during our state that I thought I should share. Our stay started with a grumpy check-in gal. We are platinum elite IHG members and are supposed to get a free drink upon arrival & room upgrade when available. It had been a long travel day, so I inquired about it the free drinks and the gal rolled her eyes and gave us the free drink coupons. I didn’t even bother asking about the room upgrade because she seems so bothered by my previous question. From there we headed to our room. It took a little extra long because one of their three elevators is broken, so the entire hotel is relying on two elevators. Never during our stay. did I see anybody working on the elevator. There was a bloody Band-Aid on the floor of the elevator that remained there all night. Our room was dirty. The sloppy cheap remodel just made it look even worse. There was a scum ring around our bathtub. The outlets on our lamps didn’t work. The plug in the bathroom sink wasn’t even attached. I woke up early to take a video of the sunrise. Unfortunately, the windows were so dirty that once the sun started coming up, I couldn’t even get my phone to focus off of anything other than the scum. In the morning, we realized that we only had one coffee pod for the machine. With three of us staying in the room, we had hoped for at least one more. I went down to the front desk to ask for more coffee pods and was told they had run out of regular coffee pods and only have decaf. What kind of hotel runs out of caffeinated coffee? I was told by Leo at the front desk that I could go to their restaurant and get a cup of coffee. When I asked him if I would have to pay for it, he said yes. Are you kidding me? I asked him if it made sense that I should have to pay for coffee because they ran out of coffee pods and he said Yes. That was the final straw for me. You’re telling me you can’t spend $.40 on a cup of coffee to take care of a guest that’s paying over $300 a night for a dump of a room? This is not the first time I have been unhappy with IHG hotels. IHG hotels are a joke. IHG is just a marketing company with a nice website that makes you feel like you will be treated to a luxury experience. Once they get guests there, they don’t seem to care that they are in the hospitality business. I would never stay here again, and do not plan to continue supporting IHG. And to whoever is in charge of that hotel, why don’t you pick up the phone and call a window washing company? We actually had a pretty awesome view, but it was completely ruined with all the filth on your windows. And ask your staff to run a vacuum in the elevators, they’re disgusting. Maybe try hiring a maintenance person to go through the rooms and see that things are in order and working. And jeez, order some gosh darn coffee pods!!

Our Uber driver dropped us off but wasn’t sure if it was the correct spot because there is no sign on the building, so that was confusing. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable. We were on floor 9. The interior could use some major updating. The carpets in the hallway are dirty and loose. I had a hard time rolling my travel case in the hallway because of the carpet. We had the shuttle scheduled to take us to Port Miami the next morning, unfortunately we missed that shuttle because we waited 45 minutes for the elevator. I told my party I was going to take the stairs after waiting 20 minutes for the elevator. It took me 10 minutes for the stairs with my luggage to go down 9 floors. I was waiting for my family about 25 minutes before they finally came down the elevator. We eventually got an Uber and we made our boarding time on the ship. The only positive thing I can say is the staff was friendly and helpful. I would look for other hotels in the area next time.

Holiday Inn is always my go-to hotel. I have been an IHG for more than 20 years so I never even bother to check the reviews anymore. I REALLY wish I had. This was such a disappointment. Hotel is very tired and outdated. Carpets and walls in the hallway and rooms are very dirty. The entire hotel, including the room, smelled of mildew. And very expensive for this kind of facility. There’s not even a sign on the hotel so I couldn’t even find it at first. Staff was great and perfect location. I really like the Holiday Inn so I hope they do a thorough update soon because people will not pay this kind of money for a hotel like this.

This Hotel is a disgrace and I can not believe that IHG allows there members to stay there. The AC and Heat is broken since a year the reviews for this place on Google proof that. The room and Lobby smelled like mold and was dirty. Stains on wall, carpet and 2 of the pillows. The Mattress should have bin swapped out years ago. The restaurant well every MC Donald's is better. Greasy food warmed up in a Microwave but they charge an arm and a leg for it. Also they add 20% tip to the bill without asking. Tip for what the worst Food and Service ever. The Waitress did not ask how the food was because the full plates were talking for themselves. Since 1 year this place is getting 1-2 star reviews. I did not check the reviews because I never had such a bad experience with an IHG property but this dump is by fare the worse place I ever stayed. I expect an apology and a substantial credit to my account for this total failure.

It's regrettable to hear your experience fell short of your expectations. We always strive to maintain our facilities to ensure comfort and satisfaction for our guests, so hearing about the air conditioning issue and the cleanliness of the rooms is disappointing. Feedback on our restaurant has been noted as well; we aim to provide good value and pleasing experience. Additionally, we understand your feelings regarding the automatic gratuity added, and your comments will be taken into consideration. We're keen to discuss your stay further and invite you to directly contact the hotel to discuss possible resolutions. We certainly hope we can regain your trust in the future.

We arrived in January. 26, 2024 around 8:30 pm due to flight problems. The lobby of the hotel was very nice and the registration staff friendly. In our reservation we included the Sail Away Package for transportation to the port for our cruise the next day. Highly recommend this if you are going in a day early for your cruise. The bar and dining room, just off the lobby was nice. Our room was just ok. The room needed and update and look and felt old. We did have a good view from our room of the port. The ceiling in the hallway had black marks on it and gave the appearance the there was a leak of something at one time or another. This is a perfect location for staying prior to your cruise and there are very good restaurants, bars and other stores right across the street. However, Holiday Inn IHG really need to commit funds to this hotel and do some serious updating if they are wanting to get a five-star review. Our total cost for our one-night stay on a Friday night came to $394.37. I would consider going back, only, if improvements have been made.
