If you’re having a bad day or if you just want a good drink, Jorge is your guy! Great personality and great service at the downstairs bar! Was only in town for a night and booked the room very last minute, but would definitely recommend.
I was a guest at the Miami Airport Marriott in August ‘22, in town for a series of conferences. The restaurant staff at the hotel were superb - specifically the restaurant staff (Jorge in particular went above and beyond). If you are ever in the area, the restaurant alone is worth stopping by and checking out. I had the soup of the day three times, amazing every time!
I want to thank Jorge and Karen in the Canefire Grill for their superb service. They were friendly, attentive and made my stay more enjoyable. The whole staff was excellent but I wanted to highlight these two specifically. Thanks again.
I visited the Marriott at Miami International Airport and although the circumstances leading to my overnight stay were not ideal, Jorge made my short stay enjoyable. The service that he provided at the restaurant and bar was exceptional. He is truly the kind of employee who keeps the service industry going. Bravo Jorge.
After a long day of travel Jorge made us comfortable and relaxed as we grabbed a quick bite and a few adult beverages. First stop in Miami before heading out on Royal Caribbean tomorrow morning. Thanks for starting our vacation on a great note Jorge!
Was stuck in Miami after a flight cancellation and the airline put us up at the hotel. Jorge in the restaurant and Nina at the front desk were incredible in making us comfortable and taking extra care of us during our stay. Their attention and service was beyond what we expected and better than we imagined. I can’t say enough about how great they are and what fabulous representatives they are for the Miami Airport Marriott. Highly recommend the hotel because of them!!
Jorge was very helpful and served us lunch right as the kitchen was closing! Gave us recommendations for dinner for my daughters birthday! Had to be close due to not having a car! He is very knowledgeable and takes care of his guests! You can tell he takes care of his customers!
It began with Delta losing my luggage. Clearly, not the hotel fault but the front desk staff was clueless why they put a “double hold “ on my debit card. Excuse me- This is a typical, repetitive and daily function and to be at a total loss of explanation is not acceptable ! The superiority in service was with the hotel restaurant management and wait staff. They truly get it and know how to take care of customers to the Max with great food and extraordinary customer service. The restaurant manager should be promoted to restaurant and hotel manager. The guy is a gem . The overall rating is a 3 Hotel - 1 Restaurant -5
Mercedes and Jorge from the bar restaurant were so welcoming and made our stay amazing and comfortable, very attentive! Very genuine and sweet people! Service with them 10/10. Will be returning to see them again
My family and I were sent to this Marriott hotel after our flight had been canceled late night and not rebooked until the following night. Jorge and Mercedes at the bar restaurant were so kind and welcoming, they made us feel so at home! They constantly checked up on us and gave us alternatives to do so as not to wait at the airport. Would definitely come again!!
