Would stay again if in the area! Atwell Suites and Hotel Indigo share the same front desk check-in. Recognized for membership status immediately and received my welcome amenities. There’s a separate check-in area designated for specifically Atwell Suites, but my guess is limited staffing, so they were using only one check-in area when I stayed in August. All hotel staff, in and out, were incredibly friendly and hospitable. Location was great. Very walkable to Brickell city center and waterfront. I believe all the Atwell rooms are all ‘suites’, nicely designed, solid and well-made modern furniture in the rooms. It feels like a boutiquey hotel. I switched from 2101 to 2204 (both were 1 King Bd, 1 Bedroom, High Flr). Rooms had a safe, mini-fridge, microwave, wet bar sink, Keurig coffee machine, rainfall shower with handheld shower, hairdryer and handheld steamer instead of traditional iron and board. Shower Water pressure very strong. Air conditioning very cool. No shortage of electrical outlets in the rooms, Even the headboards had outlets built-in on either side. Rm 2101 was definitely the more spacious suite. Rm 2204 was large but the awkward layout made it feel tight. The rooms weren’t quite open concept, so the space of the rooms didn’t flow for me. It’s definitely sufficient space for 2-people to comfortably spread out in the suite, but if you accommodate up to 3-4, it could get tight. With a king size bed in the bedroom, only one person can walk between the foot of the bed and the wall. With the sofa bed transformed into a full-size bed in the living room, you’ll be climbing over the bed to get to the other side (atleast in room 2204 that’d be the case, Rm 2101 sitting area was much larger). Rm 2204 had a separate water closet right by the entryway which was unexpected but very useful and needed if multiple guests. Glad to see that the design of that was thought through! Requests for dental kit and shaving kit were delivered promptly. No slippers available. No robes. The lounge/breakfast area is on the 24th floor (top floor). It also serves as a small bar in the evening. There’s also complimentary self-serve coffee/tea/juice/hot water machine/cold still water machine, available throughout the entire day, with to-go cups and glassware. Great for refilling a water bottle. Breakfast was light fare, pre-wrapped breakfast sandwiches, mini egg omelets, jarred yogurt parfait, Greek yogurt, variety of cereals, variety of breads (bagel, toast, churro donuts), individual packaged jams, sauces, peanut butter, and other condiments/fixins. Car parking for Atwell guests is Valet only in the attached garage, $30 per night with unlimited in and out privileges (not sure about Inidgo guests but should ask). The only dislike was how slow the elevators were and how the key card sometimes wouldn’t scan in the elevator to push the button. Have to scan and hold many tries before getting a green light.

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel was amazing!! Besides it being brand new, everything about this hotel was astonishing. The decor was great, the food and drinks were fabulous and the room was very clean and comfortable. This hotel is connected w/ another allowing you to enjoy both restaurants. They had a happy hour w/ reasonable prices for both food and drinks. The staff was friendly especially Peter who took time to give my daughter and I recommendations on dining and shopping in the area. He was very helpful w/ getting us checked in and the process easy. I would highly recommend this hotel as this will now be my go to hotel for when I visit Miami. It is conveniently located near many restaurants, shops and movie theaters. I stayed on the top floor so I heard no noise, plus staying on the top floor allowed me say access to the free breakfast, which was also amazing.

You can see the style that IHG are trying to deliver with the Atwel brand. It's modern, it's chic, it's minimal and it's functional for today's business traveller who is not staying at high end hotels. Check-in still needs some work, the focus is on the Indigo part of the hotel, although the Atwel does have a separate desk, it is hidden away around a corner, almost never attended and you're always unsure if she should use it or just use the Indigo desk. I'm a Platinum Elite and whilst the Atwel was probably 25% occupied at best, I wasn't offered an upgrade. I could have pushed for one but decided to see how the room that was allocated was. It turned out it was fine, without a direct view of the ocean, but also on the opposite side to the adjacent rail/transit station. On the 22nd floor, you can clearly hear the station announcements ! :O and the coming/going of the transit. It didn't bother me (I normally sleep with plugs) but if I was on that side of the hotel and a lower floor, it may be an issue. Service as a whole everywhere was very good, polite, professional and happy. The Atwel lounge on the 24th floor is a part of the brand that works very well. Perfectly acceptable (would like a bit more fresh fruit) options for breakfast, all day access to water/soft drinks and coffee/tea, and has great work desks for use as an individual or in groups (as long as you're not there at the same time as the wanna be Miami rap video director who is giving a pitch over Zoom, and has NO VOLUME CONTROL). My room did have one quirk, a sliding barn door access to the bathroom, that was less than 2 feet from the bed :O The bed and pillows were EXCELLENT. The TV had a few operational issues, requiring me to plug and unplug the unit on a daily basis, when it would not respond to the remote. The refrigerator and microwave worked well and were used. Overall, I defintely stay here again (especially when I got a rate of 10,000 points per night) and would consider Atwel in other cities.

Worst hotel of the IHG I have ever stayed. I booked a two bedroom suite. Only one shower for two rooms, one mini open closet. No elevator for the employees. If you stay on the suites, floors 22 to 24 you will be stopping minimum 5 times cause employees use rhe same elevator, for trash, or maintenance, or house keeping or something else. The keys work one day, then the other won't work. There is a front desk, but no body there. You have to ask some one else from the other hotel (indigo hotel) that is in the same building to go and help you. No phone call to reception, Noone there. Takes for ever to get your car at the valet, and they charge you for that service 30 dlls daily. The doors of the rooms are very small, not a regular hotel door. It seems like an apartment. There is never a manager to talk to. They only give you an email. ( never git back am answer for the complains) . The room I had 2306 you can sleep at all, because at 630 am daily there in water running every 5 minutes very loud. Like a restroom or something else. Never did something to help us with that. The coffee machine was dirty, as they have never clean it before. Disgusting. In general the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Won't recomend to anyone. There are much better hotels close to that one. Don't waist your money and time on that location. I have proof of every detail I had said.

I had the opportunity to be one of the 1st guests. The hotel just opened to the public, so everything is brand new. The staff is super friendly, The managers Peter and Pablo are super helpful and hardworking guys. Location is perfect because it has a walking distance to the metromover, and also to mary brickell village, also it is located in a quite zone and you wont here the traffic. I totally recommended. Perfect for those that want a good a time in Mia the best city in the world.
