Great location, excellent staff and good breakfast make for a nice play to stay if you’re looking to spend a few days in Miami. Hotel is clean, front desk staff is friendly and short drive to Dadeland mall and nearby restaurants make it a good place to stay for vacation or business. One of the big plusses is that they do offer daily housekeeping again (you do have to ask for it) which is the #1 thing I look for these days when choosing a hotel. No major complaints though they have extremely limited parking (other guests will double park and block your car from leaving) and really slow wifi (though they seem to be working on it. Will continue to return on my trips when on business to south Florida

I haven't traveled much since the beginning of the pandemic, but I was so happy and satisfied with my (too) short stay at the Hampton Inn Miami Dadeland. The property felt very clean and up to par with any covid19 cleanliness concerns. I have to shout out Jay Rodriguez! His hospitality was very warm on the night I arrived. After having delayed flights and a long travel day from NYC, it was so nice to be greeted by Jay so late in the evening. He remembered my name throughout my stay and was completely hospitable throughout each and every interaction. He is a wonderful ambassador for Hampton Inn & Hilton Hotels. I will definitely be back to the hotel on my next trip down. Also, the breakfast attendants on the weekend were super sweet and incredibly welcoming each day. The HVAC unit in my room was fantastic. My room was nice and cool throughout the muggy Miami weekend. Thank you, Jay and the Hampton Inn Miami Dadeland team! See you on the next one.

We checked in for one night as a stop to visit a friend on our way to Key Largo. We had the King room and it was large, spotless and we loved the walk in shower. The breakfast was great and the staff there is wonderful! I would definitely recommend especially if you are Going to UM. It’s so close. .

This hotel is relatively new but very poorly maintained. We have stayed here on multiple occasions over the last 2+ years and it has gone from a very nice hotel to unacceptable. There was no a/c in the elevators or hallways and large portable a/c machines in the halls very ineffectively trying to cool the hallways. Nothing was said to us about this issue when we checked in and it had obviously been an issue for a while. TV in the breakfast gathering area did not work and toaster only worked on one side. After returning our second night, we discovered that the TV in our room did not work and hair dryer did not work. "Manager" on duty offered to move us but took forever to actually accomplish this. After we moved into the new room we found that even though the TV worked, neither ESPN or ESPN2 worked. When we asked about this the "manager" told us that the hotel did not offer either of these channels. Really??? No ESPN at a hotel? The crowning blow was our third night when the alarms started going off about 11pm and continued to do so intermittently for a good while. Hotel staff had no idea why alarms were going off, but assured us "they" had checked and there was no emergency. Refused to call fire department and could not even tell us whether the hotel had carbon monoxide detectors or just smoke detectors or what was activating the alarm Did not call in a manager with any authority, but said they called in maintenance manager, who did not arrive before we packed up, checked out and moved to another hotel. Staff on duty were either not trained or not capable of handling an "emergency" of this type or Hilton does not have protocols in place for handling situations such as this. Those who complained were simply told they would have to talk to the "Manager" who would be in at 9am the next morning. Rooms were standard Hampton Inn, food was standard Hampton Inn, but this hotel is not at all up to Hampton Inn standards. If I could have given it a "0" rating I would have, but the lowest I could choose was a "1". We will not be staying at this hotel again and if you need a hotel in this area, I would recommend that you find a different hotel. This is a shame because the hotel is in a very convenient location and was very nice when we first started staying here a little over 2 years ago. Hilton should be embarrassed at the poor condition of this hotel.

Unless you need this location I feel you can find a better place to stay. It is clean. Breakfast is the normal basic stuff. The shower never got hot. Lukewarm was the best it got. Parking was free so that was a bonus. Internet did not work the entire time I was there. Side door wouldn't let you back in so you could only access from the front. It was close to my job but next time I'll try another location.

I regularly travel for business, and use Hilton brands. Most often, I stay at Hampton Inns. While I have stayed at over 50 Hampton Inns, this one is well below average. Beds are comfortable, nice showers, food is on-par for Hampton. The facility was updated in the recent past (not sure what year), but certain older/dated items remain (one example being the older painted wood door in bathroom is delaminating from the core). Room air conditioning units do NOT remove humidity, just makes it cold and humid. Five other people I am traveling with said the same thing for their rooms. This is a problem in mid-June in Miami. Clean clothing felt damp when put on. Towels never dried over three days. WiFi was down for two days and no compensation for the inconvenience was offered. If in town again, I will look for other options. I recommend only if the price is right.

This is a nice, clean property with friendly staff and a good location close to the U of Miami. A special shout-out to Camilla at the front desk who went out of her way to help me find late night food delivery after I had travelled a long time to get there and was so hungry! She arranged a delivery of delicious Chinese food. So friendly and helpful!

staff is very horrible, disrespectful, and unprofessional!!! camilia, ugena, and the gm edgordo rodreguiz is very poor team. maria was the only pleasant agent. - i am a diamond member, the staff didnt want to use my card on file to extend my stay. came up to my room after i explained id come down and present the card in person again!!! camila and eugena were very very rude!! iv never experienced anything like thiss stayin at a hilton. i felt very uncomfortable and not wanted at the location.

I was going through a difficult time. My husband was in the hospital and didn't know when he would be released. The front staff were so undersanding and worked with me through this emotional time. I was able to book additional nights as I needed them, which was a relief that I didn't have to look for another hotel. I just wish I would have gotten their names so I could thank them again personnally!
