Hotel's Favourite
This hotel is located between the Miami River and a very busy highway... constant honking and revving of motorcycles...and close enough to the airport that there are low-flying planes a few times an hour. They're also doing construction nearby and right at 0700, the jackhammers started. That being said, be sure to bring earplugs and/or a white noise machine. The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was pretty decent, some hot and cold choices. We just needed to stay here for the night before our cruise and found it perfectly suited for us. My only negative was check in...they had no rooms available until 3pm and happily agreed to keep our suitcases so we could wander, but there were A LOT of people that waited for rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

As a Black British solo traveler for my birthday trip, I really enjoyed my stay, highly recommended. Polite, helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast choices. Thank you for the free upgrade to a Business' room with a queen bed when i arrived. The value of white fresh comfortable cotton bathrobes, sheets and towels everyday. The free wifi, flat-screen TVs, and even high-end soap/toiletries was a excellent touch too. There was no hidden or extra costs, i was glad there is an ATM in the reception area to withdraw cash and they also sell a few variety of snacks/refreshments. The hotel and the hotel room was affordable but great quality and very crisp, clean/tidy, nice and spacious. The location is just perfect for a walk around the city Centre and a great number of bars with great choice of Rnb/reggaeton/dancehall/pop music in Brickell. I had a great view and its quiet too. There is a pool near to reception outside at the back of the breakfast hall. I will be brining my family over from the uk to stay in your hotel in Miami.

A wonderful experience we loved the hotel is very comfortable and very clean. The attention was excellent especially from the receptionists, our flight was early and we had to arrive early at the hotel and we had to wait to the check in, we were super tired and was a long flight of several hours but we meet SILVANA the assistant manager she was so kind to do everything possible to get us a room we love her so much. The truth is that the SERVICE is EVERYTHING wherever you go, and we had the best in this city hotel. The rooms are impeccable and it is a very strategic hotel since it is 5 minutes away from everything and side to Brickell downtown Center. We definitely come back to this hotel.

It’s a real pity. The hotel has been just renovated and the rooms are perfect, the lobby and social areas are new, the location (as in nearness to all Brickell City Center life and access to I-95 is very good BUT... The nastiness of the front desk staff and the danger of the surroundings of the hotel made us cancel another reservation we had to stay this week. From the moment we arrived for check in, when we asked where could we park our car (as the information says it has valet parking) the person nastily in a very bad manner said that they didn’t have space for that night and said that I would have to check next door or across the street (which means crossing under the I-95 highway through an area very dark and lonely without any crossings or signs, risking yourself to run because you realize afterwards it is one of the exits of I-95 to downtown Miami. Another guest who had been through the same situation helped me and gave me all the instructions on where and how to park nightly. Hopefully I would get space for the next night, which wasn’t true. Next night, as we arrived, there is a Club or Bar next door to the hotel that goes out of control (as in they got into the hotel and a naked person crossed the lobby yelling). As we entered to the valet parking, having to pass this angry crowd, they said they didn’t have space that night as well. We had to park across the street again and walk through some fighting dudes and yelling women. No one in the hotel had noticed (or even matters to them) that the party crowd enters inside the hotel through the pool door that had a rock keeping it from closing, because the fence that separates from the club is very low.
Next day, as a Arrived back to spend the night, The valet parking said again they did not have space and I gave him a 10 dollar bill so the space magically came up and I could pay for the parking space for the next 3 nights of my stay. The surprise came when I noticed that every other night I parked with the valet, the gas on my car reduced a little each time. I could confirm such a thing when, on my last night I arrived with a quarter tank of gas and next morning as I departed the hotel the front panel had a message: Just 10 miles left of gasoline.
Of course, I didn’t go to complain to the front desk or talk to the manager because I didn’t want to be treated poorly again. I just wanted to leave the premises and NEVER go back to this awful place.

The Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Brickell-Port of Miami was in great location for pre-cruise activities and the Metromover. Easy check-in with our reservations even though traffic at entrance was hectic. Only two elevators to rooms and one was out of service. Many people were trying to get to their rooms after checking in. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Two queen beds were set up in a small room but the window facing the canal made up for the smallness of the room. Water pressure in shower was good. Breakfast in morning for two night stay was to be desired. It was a small buffet, hot drinks, orange juice, eggs, sausage and bread for toasting, dry cereal or yogurt. There was a bar to sit while eating breakfast or several low coffee tables which were uncomfortable. The second day we noticed seating way in the back around a corner. The "hostess" did not tell us there was seating in the back even when we were looking around and asking if there was any places to sit. She pointed toward the buffet. Another negative thing was no computer room to use internet. I do not have apps on my phone and wanted to use the computer to check my information but was told they didn't have a computer for guests. For the price of this hotel they should have a computer area or room for guests to use a computer. Check out was quick and easy. After reviewing my receipt, there are double charges for State and City Taxes as well as hotel service fees (not sure what that is for).

We stayed at this hotel over the Christmas holidays in 2021. Firstly this hotel is in an excellent location since there are two metromover stations within walking distance.
The rooms and common areas were clean. In my time there at least two of the elevators were not operational. It took the hotel a few days to get this rectify, which is poor in my view.
The hotel included conventional breakfast with the room rate but this included a prepackaged meal of eggs and or sausage with a biscuit a muffin and a drink. There was no option for a vegetarian/vegan person. To add to this the food taste was not great at all. On the upside Coffee/tea is available during the breakfast period. This in my view deserves 1 start and impacted my rating here.
I had to go nearby to Wholefoods in order to get items for a proper breakfast (especially vegetarian). I am sure management could have ordered food here at a good price.
Now on to the WIFI which is very important in any stay for me and most of us. It was horrible to none existent. We literally had to go down to the lobby in order to get some connection. If you stay here I recommend getting a mobile data plan, if you want to get a connection in the room.
The front desk staff was helpful at all times when needed and even offered recommendations for various PCR tests when needed.

Service was alright no bathroom open for guest on first floor. Room was with tv but tv direction was on opposite than bed and sofa you cant watch tv if you want. Didnt got water first time when we tried after calling we had water in bathroom. Water bottle cost is $4.00 downstair ridiculous better get your own water from store when you stay there. Good thing was you can leave your luggage after checkout if your flight is late like mine.

“I recently stayed at this hotel from 3rd Aug-7th Aug 2024 but unfortunately, my experience was really disappointing. My stay was pre booked for 5days but as soon as you enter you will be asked for an additional service fees which makes no sense as my business travel agency already paid for the stay.
The hotel to the surprise do not have any included parking ,you have to either park your vehicle at your own cost or do valet which is really costly. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was highly unreliable, making it so difficult to work during my stay.
The cleaning staff don’t even speak English which makes it difficult to explain/ask for basic amenities.
While the hotel is in a great location, the additional charges ,poor WIFI connectivity and poor service overshadowed the positives and makes it a poor option to comeback for once I am on a business/vacation trip.
I would highly recommend other hotels like Hilton as compared to this.

After dithering about where to stay in Miami, we decided on this hotel due to location -- evenly located between Little Havana and the beaches of Miami Beach, which were the areas we hoped to visit. Check in was easy, friendly staff. Valet parking, which I had been worried about, was actually very easy. Friendly valets, our car was always ready when we needed it. Yes, we tipped them because they're doing a tough job. Metromover station is right there, and the Riverwalk is just outside the hotel's breakfast room; I took a walk in the morning and the evening to enjoy the view and sounds of the river.
The room was fine, we had a suite as we needed room for 5 to sleep. The floors are solid stone/tile, so there's a 'cold' feeling to the space. We had a corner room, with a view of the city (would have preferred the river view on the other side of the hotel, but can't be picky when you need a specific room type). The elevators are slow and noisy. We actually took the stairs a couple times, despite being on the 8th floor.
As others have noted, there's a lot of toast at breakfast! But there was also a hot pan with fried eggs, or cheese omelet, and sausage, yogurt in the fridge one morning, oranges, juices/milk, cold cereal, and of course coffee/hot water. It was enough to get us fueled up for the morning.
The pool is unheated, but it was clean and made for a nice swim after an afternoon at the beach. No hot tub/spa though.
For the price, for our specific needs, we were glad we picked this hotel.
