Radisson RED Miami Airport is lauded for its airport proximity and shuttle service, making it a convenient choice for travelers. While the hotel boasts a clean environment and modern rooms, some guests have pointed out functional issues and a shortage of amenities, such as microwaves.
Service quality appears to vary, with reports of both helpful staff and slower, disorganized experiences. Additionally, opinions on value are mixed; some guests question the hotel's worth, citing unsatisfactory experiences, whereas others are happy with the pricing.

Detailed Reviews
This is a newer hotel with a great central location near the airport. It was pretty clean, minus the pee stain on our toilet seat that I had to clean off with a Clorox wipe!
This place is new, and you can really tell by their customer service. We had two separate stays here because we broke our trip up with a night at Key West. Both times I asked the front desk to make sure our trash gets emptied and towels replaced...something that should be quick and easy for housekeeping to do. (I guess they’re not doing the full housekeeping due to covid?). Both times my request was not fulfilled!!! Super annoying to come back after a long day to no towels and trash flowing out of the bins. When I asked the 5th floor housekeeping lady for fresh towels later, she had the nerve to tell me I need to call the front desk!! I told her I already did and no towels came.
Front desk staff is also just ok - not as welcoming and friendly as one would hope. Anyway, I’ve stayed at much better Radisson Red’s around the world, where they were just as clean but with better service. I guess I’ll chalk up this locations poor customer service to them being a newer hotel.

On the positive the hotel is new. The décor is non traditional, modern, exposed concrete, bold red colors, etc. It is functional. Rooms are spacious, overlook the industrial area. Staff was friendly. Bathroom had a shower, sink had no room to place toiletries.
I arrived late and the airport shuttle had stopped running, an uber cost $8, but in the morning the shuttle was on demand, so convenient. Driver was friendly. Currently they are not charging for parking.
There is a bar and restaurant on site, and a pretty decent small gym
I was really disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance. Unfortunately no one told us or not advertised on the website.
Most of the guests are travelers, obviously since it is an airport hotel, enjoy this hotel while it is new, since a lot of transient guests will eventually cause a lot of wear and tear.

Three positives only - shuttle drivers were excellent, very helpful and friendly; interesting art work outside the lifts on each floor and bed was comfortable. Otherwise very ordinary. We arrived Thanksgiving night about quarter to 10. Girl on reception was dealing with customer so we had to wait for her to finish with him. Fair enough but what failed to impress was her TOTAL lack of awareness. It was obvious we had just arrived from the airport as we had spoken to her earlier on the phone enquiring about the shuttle. She wa s content to look at her fingernails whilst conversing in Spanish where it would have been nice had she excused herself for a minute and just told us that the bar stopped serving food at 10 if we wanted anything to eat.
By the time we'd finished check-in it was 10:05 and the bar refused to put an order in for us resulting in us ringing around until we found an over priced second rate pizza who'd deliver.
Also how can they justify the price when the rooms are only serviced every 3 days?
All in all, pretty ordinary.

Visited recently. Chose this hotel because it was rated highly when booked, it’s proximity to the airport, and it boasts a lovely outdoor pool. The hotel is new so that was also appealing. We checked in without issue, however, with only 2 people ahead of us, it took what felt a long time. The music in the lobby, which felt more like a club than a relaxing hotel, was much too loud. Maybe I’m just getting old in my 30s. Maybe it was the long day we had already experienced. We were tired, hungry and just wanted to rest. We got to our room probably 30 min after arrival. Immediately I noted that our room smelled like a urinal but we were so tired we didn’t complain. The sheets smelled a bit musty- like they could’ve already been slept in, but they looked and felt clean. Our window shade was broken but we were able to manually stand up and pull it down. I disliked the unfinished industrial look of the room ceiling (complete with markings for construction/spray paint) and the exposed sprinkler which flashed a bright light in the night every few minutes.
We asked about the pool and we were told it was under construction, which was a HUGE disappointment because we had an entire day remaining in Miami and we had no idea the pool was closed. We were expecting to spend our day at the hotel pool and not drive into the city, 45 min away, to enjoy the rest of the day. The hotel isn’t located in an area you would want to walk around in. In fact, when we decided to door dash some food- it came all the way from downtown Miami! There was nothing close by except for Cuban or Mexican food, which we did not want.
The hotel restaurant has about 12 items on the menu… Yucca fries, chicken wings, a salad or two, a burger, and some desserts. We were not impressed. Between the pool being closed (the website doesn’t say it’s closed), the room smelling unclean, the loud music in the hotel lobby/bar area, and the overall aesthetic, we were not impressed and will definitely not return to Radisson Red.

Strongly recommend against choosing this property, the rooms lack storage, no drawers, bathroom has no space to place anything. Staff service was abysmal, manager placated but never properly audited or verified that his staff understood the heightened expectations. If you think cleaning every three days is appropriate for a Radisson, then by all means ignore my warnings.

Horrible! Unsanitary !!!👎👎👎Worse hotel I ever been to. Hotel Staff are very unfriendly and are not interested on improving themselves... they make sure to first charge your credit card before telling you to your face "We do not clean our rooms" we practically had to beg them for towels and toilet paper, very frustrating to have to sleep in a filthy, gross and disgusting smelling room for days, the employees were very unhelpful and had a I dont care attitude, they take every opportunity to take extra money from you, first day breakfast was $12, second $15 , third $20 and the food wasn't even good only powder eegs and no meat. The walls had stains all over, the toilet had brown stains and smelled terrible, we had to use the same dirty blankets and towels for days, the shower doesn't have a door and the floor inside is very slippery causing a potential hazard, no shower door all the water splashes all over the floor, there were stains and hairs all over the floors, trash cans were over flown. I had never been in a hotel that doesn't provide house keeping, overall the most horrible experience I ever had in my entire life. I hope they will be out of business soon. Miami Health Officials have to look into this. I'm Glad we left never to return.

While I understand this is a new hotel it is not ready for prime time. Our room had holes in the wall with temporary patches and bedroom wall had dents and scratches. The bathroom was poorly designed because there is no shower door which means the water pools on bathroom floor so you have to use more towels to dry the floor. When we requested additional towels we were told that we had to go down to the front desk to get them. The towels were in a pile on same desk that you do the check in, so not sanitary. Then the beds and bedding was very uncomfortable. Finally the buffet lacked sufficient food to guest.

This place is a joke, stay far away from this property. Let’s first talk about the check in process which was a cluster. We arrived at 2:15 understanding that check in was at 3. We sat in line to be checked in to be told we were being put on a waiting list…ok. At 3pm they just started checking in guests in line, not on the waiting list, guest that had Just Arrived! This was the 1st sign that it was run poorly after 3 groups had been checked in I asked about the waiting list and they had forgotten that they created one.
The pool looks great but you can’t swim in it because it is “under renovation” no work was done on it the 2 days I was there and no where on the website stated that the pool was not available.
They have a ping pong table and foosball, cool right? Nope, they have no balls! Radisson Red has no balls! Desperate to entertain my kids I jetted out to WalMart and bought some balls. They seemed a bit annoyed with me at this point for solving their difficult dilemma for them.
Drinks at the bar are $15! Not calls or high ends, we’ll drinks at 15! The lobby was not cleaned after a night of “festivities” at 8 am. It seems like there are a bunch of teenagers running this place with zero service industry guidance. No apologies or even any attempts to make things right.
They charge you an immediate $75 incidental fee which I have not problem with but after reading reviews here it looks like it is hit or miss if you get it back. Oh and you cannot charge to your room!?? You have no problem charging my room a 75 incidental fee but I can’t charge drinks to my room?
To top it all off they do not provide complimentary coffee in the lobby! They tell you you have a coffee maker in your room! Ok fine I go up to make coffee and there’s only decaf, go back down to ask for regular…guess what, they are out! I them ask them to make me a cup in the lobby since they don’t have decaf and they still want to charge me!
In conclusion, I travel at least 2 times a month and this is the worst experience I have ever had at a property. Do not stay here it is terribly run.

We came to this hotel prior to taking a cruise. Checking in was slow but guest service agent was very polite.
Went to the bar to get dinner and bartender was very short and rude with us when we asked about turning the tv to watch a championship football game. (No one else was at the bar). We ordered our food and took over 30 minutes to get it. Glass of beer wasn’t even filled to the top of the glass.
In the morning we went down for breakfast. Not a lot of space and plenty of dirty tables. After waiting 15 minutes to be helped, the waitress greeted us with “What are you having?” after taking three other tables who came in after us.
While we waited for our food, we heard another waitress asking a couple who sat down at a dirty table to change tables instead of cleaning the one they were sitting at.
After waiting for our eggs and sausage for 45 more minutes AFTER ordering and the waitress finally coming to ask us if we wanted something to drink…. We gave up and left. For $15 eggs and sausage, the service wasn’t worth it.
Definitely will NOT be recommending this hotel to my travel clients. :-(
Sleeping room was nice, even though we requested a king bed and got two queens, the bathroom sink is 3’ wide and no room for your toiletries and no shower curtain so water splashes all over the floor.
Definitely leaves something to be desired.

The hotel is wonderful! It is one year old, everything looks nice and updated. I have nothing negative to mention about it. The hotel’s location is great if you need to stay next to the Miami Airport. The ride between the airport and the hotel is about 10 min. The hotel has a free shuttle bus which comes to the airport every 30 min and picks you up from all terminals. Easy! Plus, I would like to mention that both of the drivers I had were super nice and friendly. I was talking to each of them the entire way. Additionally, every hotel staff member was nice and friendly. The front desk staff was awesome! Also the guy who checked me in was super helpful, because he let me check in around 9 a.m. without giving me a hard time and extra charges. I booked a room with a King Size bed and I loved the room I got. The room was big and decorated in a modern style. It felt super comfortable there. As I mentioned earlier, everything looked nice and fresh. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was designed super nicely! I really liked a flamingo picture in the shower. Such an easy, but smart stylish decision to make people feel happy! The bathroom amenities were of a great quality and smelled very good. Wi-Fi was working very fast.
Summarizing my review, I absolutely want to recommend this hotel for a stay if you need to be near the airport. I booked my room for $140/night (with all taxes included), and I believe it is a good deal for the great quality you get.
