We’re locals who needed to find a place to stay for a month while our condo was being renovated. As a person who has stayed in some of the best hotels in the world for business like the Park Hyatt Tokyo and the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, I have very high standards for hotel comfort and service. I’m happy to say the Hyde Midtown Miami met them! The rooms were spacious, clean and well-appointed. Plus they allow two pets for a reasonable pet fee, which meant we could bring our two kitties who spent their days watching all the activity in the Midtown area. And to that point, it’s a very convenient location with lots of restaurants and big-box stores in addition to being central to all the fun areas of Miami (Wynwood, Design District, Miami Beach). The on-site restaurant, Salvaje, is one of the best I’ve been to in Miami, with gorgeous design, great music AND great food (as a local, I know that having all three is not that common). But the key to any great hotel is service, and the assistant manager, Robinson, and his team were fantastic. Any issues or requests we had were resolved promptly with genuine care for our comfort (in Miami, that’s pretty rare). The only real hiccup we had was with valet; they’re a separate company from the hotel, so their service was more variable (if Jhonathan was on duty things ran smoothly; others on their team were not so great). Hyde Midtown Miami- I did not like the place. This place is a little worn out. . I did not like the room placement I did not like the attitude of management (not interested in fixing problems). I did not like the speed at which the valet got the car pulled up. Also if you are sensitive to smells the 5th floor smelled. Just stay away. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! 832111392 I am not sure what to say about the place. I hate writing negative reviews. We picked the hotel for location and value so we had low to reasonable expectations. Low expectations was too high a bar for this place to meet. If this was the last hotel in Miami I would rather sleep on the streets. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

We loved the Hyde. I went with a few friends and we were on a food & drink tour of Miami. The Hyde was well positioned to get out and about and the rooms were spaces, well appointed and immaculate! The staff are lovely, especially the Manager Pierre-Alex who gave us some great pointers around town and helped with reservations. We will be back!

Great spot near to everything awesome roof terrace bar and restaurant Sajvaje. Friendly staff and clean large suites. The general manager Alex was especially accommodating and had great tips for restaurants etc in Miami. Highly recommend as weekend base for exploring Miami.
