Pool is closed here. Unfortunately, we were not told until checking in. Saturday, February 16 closed until ?? This is unfortunate on a beautiful weekend and too far to walk to South Beach. No apology or compensation! Frustrating when they don’t even apologize or try to make it up to you. Frustrating!!

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here pre cruise. I can’t say enough about this hotel! The staff here are extremely friendly and go above and beyond. We arrived earlier then expected due to a flight change. When we arrived at the hotel I wanted to see if they would just hold our luggage until check in time so we can explore. To my surprise they had a room ready for me and checked us in. I was so delighted! We had an issue with our toilet and maintenance was there to fix it in 5 mins. The hotel is very clean and our room was spacious. We had a view of the port from our room! It’s in walking distance to Publix to get some last minute cruise essentials. Also close to some restaurants. We will definitely stay here again next cruise!

I stayed at this Hilton Hotel on a business trip, and let me tell you it was one of the best Hilton hotel’s I have ever stayed at. I was greeted by one of the nicest and most courteous manager when I checked in, and a very sweet front desk representative . The manager: Amaurys Diaz, made sure to take care of me my whole stay, and took care of all of my needs during the check in and check out process. He even upgraded me to one of the hotel’s nicest suites, which was absolutely spectacular and had the most amazing view of the city. Diana, the front desk representative was very kind as well and assisted me throughout my check in process. During my 2 night stay, I spent the majority of the time looking at the city views that the suite had to offer. The suite was very spacious and clean, and I had no complaints about my stay whatsoever. The food offered at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but it was pretty good. The beach was a 15 min Uber ride away from the hotel, which wasn’t bad at all. Overall, I had a 10/10 stay and I will definitely be staying at this hotel next time I’m in Miami. Thank you again to Amaurys Diaz for being an absolutely amazing manager and to Diana for being a great front desk representative.

Stayed at the Hilton Miami Downtown for the night before heading over to the cruise-port. As soon as we arrived (via taxi) we were met by a pushy bellhop who snatched our bags out of the trunk while we paid our fare and rushed us to the elevator. We waited in line for about 15 minutes to check in and finally got our room located on the 19th floor which offered beautiful views of the bay and nightlife. Unfortunately, the rooftop pool area was unavailable due to what appeared to be a wedding reception with live music so my son was not able to enjoy the pool area. The live music went sometime beyond 11:00 PM and it was almost like we were trying to sleep inside of a nightclub. I understand it's Miami on a Friday night but I would have expected some sort of curfew or volume control beyond a reasonable time. The rooms are a bit outdated and could use definitely use some TLC; especially for the cost. They do offer a shuttle to the cruise port for $10.00 per person that leaves every hour. It was a $40.00 taxi ride from Miami airport. If I were to take this trip again, I would not be staying here.

Here now and not a great stay so far . Prior to arriving they did not have my room request but after speaking with them they did fix that but it was a hassle . When I arrived the front desk promptly told me the pool was closed . After that they handed me two room keys of which only 1 actually worked . Upon entering my room the tv would not work . This is an outdated building that is not taken care of . So far I am extremely disappointed and would not choose to come back to this property . For what I paid to stay here this level of service is not acceptable .

We stayed at this hotel before our cruise from the Miami cruise port. The room had a great view of all the cruise ships docked. It’s only 10-15 min drive to port. The rooms are spacious and reasonably priced. Food in the bar was tasty and the staff are very helpful. I’ll stay here again if I cruise out of Miami.

Our company booked Hilton Miami Downtown for our sales kick off from 1/28 - 2.2. I checked in on Monday, 1/29, and carelessly forgot my headphones (huge, over the head ones encased) at the front desk. When I came back down, the concierge, David (G.) asked if I’d left a “black case” when I checked in. It didn’t occur to me that I might have as I absolutely had my purse, backpack and suitcase. Fast forward to late Thursday night while I was packing to check out (Friday morning)…this is when I realized I could not find my headphones. I frantically phoned the front desk where they informed me that there was nothing found in Lost and Found, but I should check again upon check out. And so I did. This is when the entire front desk staff + David (G.) sprung into action searching everywhere. Karolanne was the real MVP as she made a few calls, getting security involved. 10 minutes later, my headphones were returned! Such an amazing show of teamwork and ensuring that they kept me as their priority! As well, upon checking in, David (G.) had made the most amazing suggestion for burgers (KUSH) near the hotel. It was a short Lyft ride, but this little “hole in the wall” in Wynwood was the truth and the light! The burger was FANTASTIC. Also, my coworker and I had popped into Brisa (hotel restaurant) a little more than 45 minutes before opening. We were going to seek another restaurant, but the manager invited us to dine prior to opening, which has NEVER happened (usually you have to wait until the restaurant p). We were soooo grateful because we were starving! My salad (Caesar + grilled chicken), though seemingly simple, was delicious! Finally, I’ve seen reviews regarding the hotel’s location and the fact that the hotel needs updating and I’d agree; however, Wynwood is close and a short Lyft/Uber ride away. There’s also a grocery store less than a block away and the hotel is connected to the DoubleTree Hotel that has small boutique stores. The hotel can use some updating but overall, it was a pleasant experience and what the hotel lacks in updates and location, the staff makes up for it tenfold!

I'm certain the elevators are a new electronic experience of speed and direction but holy crap are they confusing, and nobody from the hotel helps with that!! The hotel experience is a general overall good Hilton relationship. However, the room hallways, feel a little dirty to me. My Room looks great and feels very clean!! Definitely always a plus!! This trip is more about the business experience and aspect, and although I'm writing this review during the trip, everything is going quite well. The check-in with the front desk was a little wishy washy but after getting to a manager, through much hesitation, it was a snap!

The public areas are good enough. We had one of the large suites and it was dark and dreary. No overhead lighting in the suite at all -- none. The large living room had two small floor lamps at opposite ends of the room, which were totally inadequate if you needed to read or work at night. Hallways were also dark. We would not return.
