Arrived and was happily greeted in the main house. Was given a little tour along with an overview and then, off to our room. The Havanna was clean and inviting and overlooked the pool and fountain (see pic), which drown out the traffic noise on A1A. Breakfast is delicious and well prepared to our liking. Wine and hors d'oeuvres are...

Many places make promises of relaxation, comfort, to be the ultimate getaway..well this my fellow Trippers is THE place for total relaxation and pampering! Our room had amazing views of the ocean and the courtyard. It was on the second floor with three different balconies and beautiful French doors. This bed and breakfast provided free breakfast and cocktail hour with...

Your review is absolutely amazing - thank you! You spared no amazing detail and we are so appreciative. I'm even more happy to hear again how you loved your stay. Everyone on staff thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you and would love to see you again in the future. You did mention that the bathroom is a little "snug for...

My husband and I recently celebrated our 11th anniversary with a stay at this wonderful B&B in Melbourne Beach. We were impressed from the moment we parked and walked in the front door. We were greeted by a young lady (sorry, I forgot her name) who was so warmly welcoming. She gave us a tour of the place, provided all...

Hands down the BEST B and B I have ever been to. This place does everything right from start to finish. Making a reservation was easy and Erica even followed up with an email about dinner reservations. When were arrived, Erica was there to meet us and gave us a tour of the grounds. We were early, which was no...

We stayed in the sunrise room at this beautiful spot in April for the last two night of our honeymoon! Coming to Port D'hiver from our busy, 'people filled' cruise the previous week was just perfect. It is a gorgeous property just across the street from the beach with home baked treats, beautiful breakfast and wonderful tranquil surroundings. We made...

Melbourne Beach is not often on the radar of Floridians, but it's a lovely stretch of beach and historic Port D'Hiver sits right across the street from the Atlantic Ocean. It's more boutique hotel than b&b, with 10 gorgeous rooms in three buildings. The owners are hands on, taking care of every need and serving a gracious breakfast in the...

Us Floridians are always looking for an easy "staycation" and I'm happy to tried us out! We do have beautiful, natural beaches here - thank you for the five stars! I'm so happy to hear you had an excellent time.

We stayed there last weekend for the first time. They exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Yellow Room to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. It was beautiful and we enjoyed the nice music that was already playing. The breakfast's were great and the cookies....well....let's just say we ate way too many. Will definitely stay there again.

The cookies are addictive - working near the kitchen is torture, so I understand! I'm so happy to hear you had a nice time, and we can't wait to see you again! Happy anniversary, again!

This B&B is exquisite! If I were to use one word to describe Port d'Hiver, it would be hospitality. I have never stayed at any B&B or hotel the completely nailed hospitality like Port d'Hiver! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Let them help you make your reservations because they are "in good" with all the local establishments. The...

Thank you for taking the time to write about your amazing trip and experience! I'm so happy to hear you had a wonderful time! I do want to briefly speak to the two helpfuyl points of feedback for future guests: 1) You did mention that the bathroom is a little "snug for two" and you're right! For future guests reading...

At first glance, the property seemed a bit nondescript, set on the corner of a rather busy road. But once we entered the gates the setting transformed to a quiet little oasis across from the beach. Service was top notch, the room was gorgeous and luxurious (Indian River Room), the breakfasts were absolutely delicious, as were the cookies (available all...

You are right, that everything you need is within easy walking distance - from a grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, beach bars, fine dining steak houses, pizza and sub shops, parks with fishing piers, the library, and of course to THE BEACH! Biking through our cute neighborhoods is the best, too! I'm glad you loved your stay and we hope...

This place is a little gem, sitting on an unremarkable corner facing the ocean in Melbourne beach. Inside, the welcome is warm and genuine; our room, 'The Windward Suite' was fabulous. We joined with the other residents for the happy hour with wine and nibbles courtesy of the Port'D'Hiver. After the madness of Miami or Orlando, this is a wonderful...
