We stayed just one night on our way from Toronto to Ohio, and were very sorry we couldn't stay longer with such hospitable hosts. The location is wonderful too, only twenty minutes from the Point Pelee National Park, where we spent a couple of hours before starting our drive across the border the following day. If we ever drive this...

I was travelling for business and needed a place right in Wheatley and the Blue Heron was perfect. The owners interacted with you as much or as little as you wanted. Rooms were nice, cozy and clean, and quiet. I heard the owls at night. Good wifi. Great recommendations for things to do, places to eat. If you want a nice...

Catherine and John were such gracious hosts. My bestfriend And I stayed and had an awesome girls' getaway. They served us a delicious breakfast, shared lots of local culture and history. We want to come back with more friends and do a painting workshop session with Catherine.

We loved our overnight stay with Jon and Katherine at the Blue Heron! You would be hard pressed to find people who are more welcoming, relaxed and accommodating. We stayed with our two boys, age 18 and 14. We had adjoining rooms, both very lovely and comfortable (one a nautical or beach theme, the other, more Victorian) both with en-suite...

Blue Heron is a hidden gem - we booked their four rooms for a weekend wedding for the bridesmaids and received such great service. Beautiful theme rooms, especially having a "nautical room" for the bride "Ariel." Breakfast was amazing and the pool inviting. Unfortunately with such a busy weekend we didn't get to take advantage of their relaxing area with...

We spent 3 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. John and Kathryn are great hosts and between them make superb breakfasts. All the rooms are en-suite and perhaps just a wee bit smaller than I like but certainly ample and well equipped and clean! There is a common kitchen area where guests are welcome to use all of the facilities...

Great B&B. Very friendly got the breakfast I wanted at the unreasonable time I wanted it. Room was everything you could want. Location is great bird watching in the area, Pelee is 20 minutes away, Hillman Marsh 10 minutes and Rondeau about an hour.

We spent 2 days at the Blue Heron Getaway B&B in May and it was wonderful. The room was clean, affordable, wonderful breakfast, and just so homey. John and Cathy made us feel so welcome and they gave us so many ideas of what to see, and where to eat, it was all so helpful. Great conversation and lots of...

John and Katherine were amazing hosts. It was a surprise trip for me and it was wonderful. There are only 4 rooms so not much in the way of noise and the place is kept immaculately clean. The decor and tasteful ambience was perfect not to mention the beautiful art that adorned the walls. The owners were very warm and...
