Had booked 2 rooms -Maharaja Suite and Room 102. Pros - old heritage building, very private and regal, prompt reception and room service. Cons- food okayish, not up to the mark . Looked like the reception itself wasn’t too confident about the spa-so didn’t use it. To sum up - good but can be better. Probably not value.
It's 20 acre Heritage Palace, with 100 years old architecture, now tied up with Welcome Heritage. It's very beautiful & Unique experience of heritage environment. We stayed for 5 days & enjoyed every moment. All staff members were very humble & very cooperative. Hospitality of Mr Sameer Ahmed ( manager) & Tejaswini ( front office) was amazing & taking personal care of all our needs. Chef is no doubt, served very delicious food. I returned 2 days back to bangalore & again planning to for 5 days very soon. Bye bye Sameer & Tejaswini. See you soon.
The palace is a Hidden Gem . One of the best hospitality you can ever get . Rooms are huge and elegant as well as bathrooms can be compared a 1bhk in bangalore . Food is lip smacking and the privacy of the guest is taken utmost care of. The palace has a relaxing aura i would suggest to take minimum of 3 days of stay. 2 days where you visit hampi and a day where you can relax and admire the beauty of the palace . Staff are too courteous and polite . only thing i will suggest the hotel can improve is deserts and spread of morning breaksfast.
This a sprawling 20-acre heritage property that with its old-world architecture and driveway charms you at first sight. Built like a small palace, the property has now been turned into a 5-star hotel with great love and care. All its 12 suites/ deluxe rooms are air-conditioned with a seating area, wardrobes, and TV with a TataSky DTH connection. The attached bathrooms have separate bathtubs and shower areas with complimentary toiletries and 24-hour running hot-and-cold water. The rooms and bathrooms are massive, high-ceilinged affairs that immediately remind you of those numerous British-era state guest houses sprinkled all-over India that I have been so familiar with when I used to be in Govt. service. When we were looking for a suitable hotel near Hampi, this property caught…
A fantastic Hotel with a very warm crew. Formerly, the Palace of the Ghorpade family, Sandur and the seat of their power, it was converted into a heritage palace in 2011-12. This place has had minimal effects of commercialization (in a positive way) and has thus, retained much of the old world charms. The floors, the switches, the setup easily regales you. It takes you back in time and makes you feel like you are living in a palace and not some fancy hotel that calls itself a palace. The property is huge and is surrounded by lush green environment. There are Nilgiri Langoors on the property - a whole troop perhaps! While they may exchange stares with you an indulge in monkeying, they keep to themselves. Exotic birds add to the charm. The palace corridors can take your…
