This is a beautiful property surrounded by lush green manicured lawns with natural flora. What stands out the most is how hospitable the entire staff is. They will cater to your every need and do it with a smile. Right from the checkin process which lasted all of two minutes, to making sure the room ac was turned on before we stepped in, to serving coffee and tea near the swimming pool, their attention to detail is astounding. I got a room on the first floor with a large balcony. The rooms are spacious with double heighted ceilings which give you the feeling of royalty. There is much to do on the property. For kids there is an activity room and a swimming pool. They also have some outdoor sports equipments. The food is also amazing. Everything we ate here was good. No complaints. Breakfast was also amazing. I found the spread to be adequate. What they might miss out on the number of items, they more than make up for it in terms of taste. I would definitely recommend this palace for anyone looking for a holiday on this area.…
Overall a wonderful property to stay. Well maintained and peaceful location. Courteous staff and management. Will definitely recommend it. A different experience to stay in a palace hotel. Two different museums to see. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Must visit property if you are planning Hampi. Little away from hampi but worth considering.
This is our second visit. The amazing service, Rooms and food made us visit the hotel again. Totally a royal experience and would like to visit again and again. Its a perfect place for a family outing.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Peaceful place. Excellent customer service. All the covid protocols were followed. Good food. Inform previous day to taste the authentic style food. Car Museum is good. Darbar hall museum is excellent. Good place for small Destination Weddings.
It is a palace is built on a sprawling area of 20 acres. The palace built by the Ghorpade royal family showcases vintage photographs, Lambani wall hangings, antique furniture, vintage cars, and an armory museum. The legacy of the royal family made my stay at the palace an unforgettable experience.
It was a wonderful and memorable stay at this palace for 2 days. It’s a home away from home. We really enjoyed their hospitality especially by Mr Sameer, Mr Joseph, Ms Tejaswini at the reception and Mr Thimmappa and Mr Biswajit at Restaurant who took care of us nicely . Don’t miss the car museum where all the vintage cars are there and the Darbar Hall museum where the kind old weapons were kept and it was nicely explained by Mr Joseph. It’s like revisiting our great giants place of the last century and had a chance to stay there . Thanks a lot for the management team for preserving the heritage items .
Best experience ever thanks to Mice hospitality Mr Ravi from ITC Fortune to arrange this experience. Me and my family felt Royal and experienced the luxury of Royalty. The staff the cuisine and the experience is worth experiencing again and again.. it sets up the mood to visit Hampi which is again ruins of one of the Richest dynasty.
Talk about Beauty, Royality and an absolutely Amazing Hospitality and "The Shivavilas Palace" is the place to see all. Situated in the calm and peaceful locality in Sandur, the palace is the evidence of its history. We stayed in the Palace for three days and were amazed at the rich experience that it provides. The place is royal, surrounded by lush green gardens, vintage setting with an exceptionally comfortable experience and great staff that is always their for support. Cheers to the amazing hospitality! I was amazed to see how the Palace is still engaged in the everyday royal rituals like doing the arti poojan at the temples. The vintage cars are such a treat for eyes. The food is amazing and so is the ambiance. It literally gives you the feeling of Royality that one wishes to gauge the experience of while choosing a heritage property. Thank you for the great experience…
It's was last minute trip to Humpi.. But luckily found this Heritage property and got a good deal.. Pros: Large rooms and Excellent service.. The best part is the food.. The menu items are limited, but the all of them taste awesome.. It's not about the number of items, the taste matters.. Cons: This property is 40 kms away from Humpi, but the road to Hampi is good so just 45 mins drive.. Overall just go for it.. 😎
We came back from Hampi not only with the memories of the ruins of Vijaynagar Empire but also with the imprint created by the Shiva Vilas hospitality. Mr Sameer deserves a special mention here. He always made sure of our comfort and delight factor. Delight came through his management skills ranging from keeping the kids too immersed in doughnuts , arranging for vintage car gallery and museum tour.We have been to many hotels across the country but never came back remembering each and every staff of the hotel. Mr Swamy was another person who kept us happy through tasty and customised menu. Other staff were also very courteous though i am forgetting their names. The rooms standards in terms of hygiene matches any star hotel. Adults and kids have ample activities to do in leisure time ranging from swimming to board games. Otherwise a stroll around the beautiful palace itself so fulfilling. Though its little inside but given the choices in Hampi this stands out to be the best option. I will surely recommend this hotel for an absolute luxury cum relaxing trip to Hampi.…
