I'll make this short: If you want to stay at a hotel on a beautiful beach, then the EAU is a great spot. Unfortunately, the service just doesn't meet up to the hype nor the outrageous rates. While the staff members in general were polite during our stay, the service just did not equal that of a Four Seasons or a Ritz-Carlton.
The hotel was nicely appointed, great rooms, had a beachfront location and was covid compliant. Liked that there was an adult pool as well. Unfortunately the service was lacking at the restaurant, beach and pool area. For the cost we paid per night, the staff should be more attentive. The best service we received was for our daily beach set up. Those guys work really hard! We were disappointed overall though for the price tag.
My fiancé and I just spent 8 glorious perfect days/nights at Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa- the absolute oasis, especially living in NYC. From the moment we arrived, the check-in was seamless and welcoming, and we loved the personalization. Also, we were so pleased how COVID safe it was – all precautions taken and everyone was considerate. We absolutely loved our room, with a beautiful view we had been craving for 15 months (in NYC). The pool area was beautiful, as always, with wonderful access to the beach. All the beach/towel attendants were very attentive and accommodating (thanks to Erwan and the team). We (especially my fiancé who gets restless on the beach), spent lots of good quality time at the pool bar/restaurant, Breeze Ocean Kitchen, with great cocktails and the best burgers and snacks. (Big thanks to Suzie, Elethe and Walter!) Wonderful place to spend hours- what could be better- cocktails and wonderful food with a beautiful view. Always enjoy the Sunday brunch at Temple Orange. Also, enjoyed hours at the hotel lounge with great music (live music with the very talented Arturo who I was happy to see again). Loved every minute we were there, and a very big thanks to Tim Nardi and his incredible staff. It was definitely the best time we’re had in 15 months, and up there on my list of favorite vacations. I’ve travelled to various places throughout Asia, Europe, Americas and Africa, and Eau Palm Beach stands out in my top favorites. I thought 8 days/nights were enough, but it wasn’t. We hope to be back there soon. Can’t thank @Tim enough for a great week!!!!…
The good: location and the common area design, the staff is also friendly. Everything else is a disaster or sub-standard - the room is dark and is in a need of a major renovation. TV remote is not working for 3 days. The bath towels are very old and grey and smell of kitchen - I had to ask numerous times for the clean towels - but they don't have them - for $1600 per day one can not get a set of fresh towels! So - bring your own towels if you like them clean!
I only stayed one night on my run around of Florida, but wish I had stayed longer. Staff was warm, smiling, and welcoming. The room was gorgeous! I'm a big fan of blue with yellow, simply stunning. the peacock chairs on the balcony were fun. The beach restaurant was beautiful, service was attentive. Beds were comfortable. We even sat in the lobby for a little and they brought is popcorn and nuts while we were there. Covid protocols were great, the place was spotless. Great stay and can't wait to return (longer)
