Pretty decent water slides, they were just what the Dr ordered for my daughter who's autistic and has no idea what I'm talking about if I mention any virus. She just wants a water slide no matter what and she's 19 yrs old. Okay the reason for the 3 stars is I rented a room with a jetted tub and it took well over an hour to fill it up the tub, the faucet was barely running any water. I had to compensate by filling up an ice bucket in the sink full of hot water and walk it to the jetted tub. So after getting out of tub after finally getting in. I notice the tile floor's pretty wet from all the trips I made with the ice bucket to the tub. So I grab a bath towel and put it on the floor. I walk with it under my feet to get all the water up and as I'm doing this the towel starts to turn dirty very quickly, almost black. VERY dirty floors is what I'm getting at. My sleep. Sucked, I'm a light sleeper. Around 1 A.M. or so I got woke up by the next room running their hot water and the pipes were LOUD. So I'm up from 1 to about 3 or so. Next thing I get woke up at 4:30 in the morning by a garbage truck emptying 4 dumpsters on at time each time backing up with that back up horn beep, beep, beep each and every time. Fell back to sleep around 6 or so. So 3 stars it is for the dirty floor, the tub taking an hour and 20 minutes to fill up, plus the lack of sleep.

I feel this resort deserves 4 stars. Don’t get me wrong it isn’t a 5 star rated resort, not luxurious, but it is well kept and offers all the amenities you could want just at a downgraded level.

We stayed in a Queen suite for 2 nights. 2 adults, 4 kids. It was clean and plenty of room for all of us. The room had a balcony that overlooked the pool. *Note, I had read a review that some balcony doors lock behind you. This is true!! The balcony door will lock you out and your key does not work because it has been deactivated. Put the deadbolt out so you don’t get locked out!!*
There is a full kitchen although no plates or silverware, the cabinets were empty; 2 queen beds which were comfortable, bedding was soft (I travel a lot), 1 bathroom with tub, bunk beds, round table with seating for 4 plus a desk with a chair.

The front desk staff was nice.
There is a stocked mini-mart.
The restaurant was accommodating for ordering things not on the menu (they do have kids prices, just ask).
There is a movie room in the back of the main building that plays a kid’s movie at night.
There is a game room and activities room.
The tiki bar is open with a full bar and ice cream for sale.
The pool was warm and clean.
The waterpark is not huge but again it has everything you need: lazy River, water slides, kid’s splash pad, cabanas to rent and free lounge chairs with umbrellas. *I would bring your own pool towels as the free ones are small and thin.*
My biggest complaint was the noise from the next room. Do not plan on going to bed early here. You can hear the noise and banging from the room next door, also on the balcony. And you can smell the food they are cooking next door. But our neighbors, and there were a lot of people in that room, were quiet by 11:30pm-ish.

All in all, my kids had a great time. The waterpark is included in your stay, and there are deep discounts on rooms. Location is at the east end of 192 which is a road full of stoplights and tourist traffic so plan extra time to get anywhere. Yes, the entrance is a bit difficult to find at night but use your maps app and know it is right off of 192 and a small car dealer. There is a big sign but it is not lit. Have fun, your kids will!!

The phone in the room did not work at all. I called the front desk using my cell phone for 45 minutes using every extension possible to try to get a hold of someone. They have dozens of cameras around the property but they obvious don’t use them in real time.
We had a man yelling, cussing, sitting in a chair right outside our door using awful language and full of rage. We were stuck in our room. Obviously scared to confront him and no help from anyone at Flamingo because they wouldn’t answer. We ended up banging on the door and he stopped but that got everyone else in his group started with their loud cuss word filled language.
I mentioned it to the front office the next morning and was told, he was probably drunk or high.
So that’s the excuse? and we are supposed to except it?
I’ll add in there were at least 15 people in the group and we happened to be roomed in between their rooms so I’m not angry at their noise level although it was frustrating. I’m angry that when all I wanted was for a hotel worker/security to ask the man to stop screaming obscenities literally sitting in a chair outside our door and couldn’t get a hold of anyone.

Side note: there are people smoking all over the pool area and in front of the rooms. It does say no smoking but they don’t have enough employees to actually enforce anything.

Very disappointing found blood stains on blanket (same design blanket they have on the website photos) bead bugs in bed and dirty water was left in tub did not try to resolve issue offered us a refund and 6 months later still have not given my 400+ dollars back if they tell you to leave and offer a refund I would bunker down in your room because you will never be refunded. Even after challenging purchase to my bank and I had a proof of refund they still said that flamingo water park refuses to refund it. Now I have to travel back to Florida and try to civilly sue this hotel. Thank you Flamingo water park for ruining my honeymoon

Very disappointed! The outside of the motel looks like it was abandoned. The the park for the kids to play has no seating area for parents. Our motel door is slightly dented in towards the room and doesn’t close all the way. The lounge chairs at the pool are ones that you can adjust the back of it so you can sit up or lay down. Half the chairs don’t have the bar on the back to adjust so you have to lay down the whole time! These chairs are hard plastic and are covered by a really thin piece of cloth that does not feel good at all. Just super disappointed to not feel comfortable at this place. We are unable to get a refund but it’s so uncomfortable we purchased another hotel room down the road for our last night. :-(

Immediately I was very disappointed. The drive into the resort, alone, was very sketchy. The scenery is of a run down motel. Prior to my arrival, I was told by the manager Lisa, that I would get a resort view at no charge and she wrote down my request. The staff did not see my request and tried to charged me for a side-eyed view room. I, instead, settled for a room facing the parking lot. The rooms are extremely outdated and roach infested. It smelled of mold and bleach but beds and tub appeared to be cleaned. The cabinets and counter tops definitely do not get wiped down and we did not dare walk around barefoot. The closet and doors were screeching. As for the waterpark, slides and steps are extremely rustic and slippery. The canapy covers need a good cleaning. All of the status need to be repainted, and the entire place (hotel and waterpark) could use a serious pressure washing. The staff were VERY friendly, but most of them did not speak English at all. One even asked me to speak into her phone for a translation app. I couldn't believe it! The arcade is ok for 5 and under. The activity room was very dark and not inviting at all. The theater was cool. It felt very much like a cinema and the popcorn was fresh. Still, I'm disappointed because I wanted to celebrate my son's 6th birthday here with friends and family but I wouldn't recommend this place at all to anyone.

Very run down, the pictures that they show in the ad online is from when it was built. Not cleaned well, the front check in area was remodeled recently it looks like so that you don’t just cancel it before check in. The balcony door locks and has the same style key card lock but the lock assembly is removed from it so if you dont see it before had then you will be locked out with no way to get back in even with the key. The doors all have gaps that let all the cold air out so they are on 100% of the time, and don’t actually cool the room, so the a/c that shoots heat onto the balcony makes the balcony unusable. There is no hot water in the shower. This is a $60 hotel MAX! And then you have to pay $33 per day to use the “water park” and spanish music is playing at full volume all the time.

I stayed here with my husband and 4 year old son. We had a really great time at the water park. One of the water park staff was a little fussy that my son was exactly on the line for height measurements for the water slides and wouldnt let him go down, but everyone else did. I guess Id rather they were safe than sorry...My son also really loved the bouncy house and he also really loved the playground! The game room was also fun.
Breakfast was mediocre and and the cleaning staff were alright. The check in staff were great and the little shop was convenient. I realize its a water park hotel so its better to have a tile floor vs a carpeted floor in the rooms but the floors were quite cold in the mornings. All that being said we would stay here again!

This was the third year in a row and will be the last. For small kids the waterpark is good, but that is it. Things have changed and a lot of things don't work there and they are so full of excuses. They have always been deceptive with their business practices by not showing online that the waterpark isn't open on Monday and allowing people to purchase tickets for their families, and that really sucks. Well I called that morning to find out the waterpark and pool times and only then was told that they were making repairs to the adult pool and it was closed. Seriously?? Two weeks AFTER the kids get out of school is when you decide its time to make repairs on the pool, and not notify anyone? I was really mad, because besides the 2 feet of water in the lazy river that was the only other place to actually get into the water.
When i asked about it at the front desk at first she was sarcastic about it because I told her that I had called the day before (which was my mistake because i called that morning but was hot and tired after 3 hours with 3 kids in the car) and was told well I knew yesterday. Like that was going to make a difference when I already scheduled to time off of work and paid the deposit which was non refundable at that time. Then I was told that they sent out emails and must have missed me. I know they are full of it because just like the waterpark that is closed on Monday that they don't reveal on their website, all they want is the money and could care less about anything else.
Then I tried calling the front desk, and the phones don't work. I was told they were switching carriers but just saw another review where the phones weren't working a year ago. Even when you call they NEVER answer the phone at the front desk either. The water park is nice, but they don't pressure wash the walkway so tons of kids are walking to go on the slides and falling.
Then my niece has long hair and wanted to blow dry it after getting out of the pool. No blow dryer. The shower water is no longer hot, as other people in the hotel and i were talking about. It is a just slight of cool. Nothing except the main lobby and rooms are air conditioned so the bathrooms by the pool are hot and smell like pure urine. I won't even go in them. The laundry room and arcade are empty because they are hot boxes. Then on our last day after going the waterpark i went into the laundry room to change my nephew because the bathrooms smell and he shut the door and locked us in. For about 15 minutes i tried calling the main lobby where nobody answered the phone. We were hot, sweaty, and I was worried because we couldn't get out. After another 5 minutes an employee came out of his car and we were banging on the windows and flailing our hands, and he came and openened the door to let us out. I was furious and went to the front desk and after I told them what happened their only reaction or response was "Wow"????? Thats it, no sorry, are you ok. Just wow? It was a fun little get away for a few years but no longer a nice place to go to anymore. Probably never was, but at least things were working and in the room.

What can i say it was a last minute trip needed a bed to lay our heads. This is one place where you need to bring blanket from home, pillow case, and shower shoes. room smelled like smoke , was supposed to be non smoking. we called about it the said we could come by to get a key to check if other room smelled the same. we literally dropped out bags and went to dinner so asked if we could come by later that evening( we’ll before night audit came on) thru said yes. so we called to makw sure the key would still be waiting as promised the phone rang endless and no one at desk or picked up. wasn’t worth hassle.
