This was a nice place to stay in marathon. It is a local owned place with old keys charm. They are in a construction phase on new buildings but it did not effect our stay. Pool was nice and grounds well kept. They have kayaks for your use to take out in the canal to the ocean. THIS IS NOT...

After reading many other reviews I have to agree that I would not consider this place a "resort." This is just another run down beach motel. I guess they consider it a resort because they offer Wi-Fi and have old kayaks and paddleboards you can use. Not too mention they use the word "resort" so they can charge you the...

Great place to stay! Moor your boat at your back door & plenty of boat trailer parking! Rooms are clean & roomy! Full k itchen well stocked! Just make sure you wash the dishes before you leave! $50.00 if you don't! Found that out by reading the motel booklet that's in all the rooms. It's a quick jaunt down the...

We recently stayed here and found the room to be clean although a little small for 4 adults. The canal view gave us a different perspective of the keys. They have free kayaks at your disposal, of which we took advantage of in the late afternoon. the pool is clean an it even has a couple of large picnic tables...

We stayed here for a couple of nights 5th - 7th of july so just last week and were pleased with our choice. Upon arrival we were given the keys to two different rooms and allowed to go have a look first before committing to staying which is a lovely touch. The room was just what we needed 2 queen...

We have stayed at Coconut Cay for several years. Always enjoy our stay there. We always get a room on the canal. It is lovely with sliding patio doors that open onto our personal patio with a picnic table and comfy patio chairs. It's so fun to watch the Iguanas across the canal. Always a lot of neat birds to...

Even though we lost money on our reservation, when we drove through this place, we decided not to stay - it was nothing like what was advertised. Cluttered grounds, no beach - the only water was a small canal that might have led out to the gulf. Lots of smokers around, the pool was very tiny and didn't look clean....

I am so sorry you felt that way. Our pool is treated every day by a reputable company and is very clean. I wish you would have given us a chance. Our rooms are clean and we do not advertise that we are on a beach. We are currently under renovations to improve our guest's stay.

Let's face it, when you're in the Keys, the last thing you want to do is spend a lot of time in your room. Boating, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and playing tourist is what a weekend away is supposed to be.. With the tweaking of just a few details, the place could be delightful. The lightly-kitschy Coconut Cay is centrally located...
