had a great experience with check in and ended up with an awesome full ocean view. little leary on some of the reviews but found them to be not that credible. besides, who spends that much time in the room anyways... (floors were not dirty, pattern in the wood grain). only complaint is that it turned into little Havana on the weekend. alot of people hanging at the pool and using the docks and beach area that were not guests along with taking up a bunch of parking and leaving the registered guests to park up near the street. guess that's why most resorts have wristbands and security. besides that we had a great stay and used the room to shower and sleep like most do while on vacation.
The resort was no “resort”-at all-totally a 1 star motel-waited 2o min in line with one person ahead-breakfast is old cereal ina container-pool area a shame-I could go on-but worst of all-my son and I was singled out as a “ white” mom and son to be made a example of-my son had a conversation with his girlfriend on the phone for like 5 min-I was about to sleep, and next thing we knew police was on the door telling us the manager wanted us to leave in the middle of the night-no warning-keep in mind walls were paper thin-we heard every conversation from next door the whole day-the doors between rooms were with an inch gap opening between them-so here my son and I had to pack up in front of police and drive back to Miami I. The middle of the night with no warning and after having paid about $450 a night for the sub standard dirty room-safe to say worst hotel experience of our lives-still suffering from the trauma…
Nice location very clean and nice view from the rooms , front desk Julie and her staff very helpful and nice , complimentary breakfast bikes and kayaks , highly recommend to stay , jet ski rental available really enjoyed it had fun

I have stayed twice at this property: 3 nights in a pool villa which is quiet, and 2 nights in a room near the road which is loud. The property is nicely landscaped. A grab and go breakfast makes it easy to get the day started. There are chairs for viewing the ocean, which we did each day & night. MOST unfortunately: the property next door (south) had a loud dog barking - guarding its property the entire time, and at night there were a set of 4 spotlights that automatically went on & remained on the whole time we were were trying to view the ocean &sky , which spoiled the viewing. (The lights turned off after we left). There is no beach, just ocean access. It's a nice property to sleep, but imo, not really a resort due to the noise, lack of ocean & agotementioned adjacent property disruptions. (If there are city ordinances that address those issues, I would consider staying again. Till then, pass.) We did appreciate the bikes & kayaks.…
The girl at the front desk who’s name starts with a J was not very much helpful she was rude and could not accommodate me. Doesn’t assist me with any of my questions and just hung up on me. She will be on her phone talking to someone with her AirPods on and ignore me and my husband standing there. Rooms are filthy dirty I don’t think the works care to work there I do not recommend. Save your money and stay elsewhere
My husband & I arrived a bit skeptical because of the very diverse mixed reviews. Basically, if you need a decent place to stay on Islamorada & plan to do activities around & on the keys this is a good place. We stayed in 502 (a pool villa) & found it clean & spacious overall. Yes there were stains on the couch & chairs in tv area, but we were out busy doing activities to even care about that! The bed & bathroom were very clean & that’s all that was important to me. As far as the free rentals: there was only one useable kayak most of the time, there were only 3 out of four bikes able to be used & one of those had a pretty bad torn seat. We did not see any of the yard games posted in their pictures on their website, but we also didn’t ask. Staff was friendly. Free snacks in the lobby was nice. The continental breakfast is what you’d expect. I believe some reviewers may have been expecting a 5 star hotel just because it has “resort” in the name. However, if you do your research you will know what you’re getting for the price (which was much cheaper than surrounding accommodations). I would return for a short stay, but would probably want something that offers more/better amenities for a longer stay. I recommend requesting a pool side villa or ocean view room. The standard rooms are right by the road.…
We only stayed one night and it’s a bit expensive for 12 hr stay but I’d come back. Big room…actually an apt with upstairs and downstairs. Kitchenette. Very clean. Wood floor which we like. No complaints. Big bathroom. Nice breakfast. We didn’t sit at the pool and it didn’t look great but resort is on the ocean.
Stayed here years ago when it was a Days Inn due to an overbooking at our intended resort and it was horrendous. We drove down on a whim and saw that it had a new name, and, due to the good location, decided to try it out again. We booked an oceanfront suite and we're appalled to find that it's even WORSE now than it was as a Days Inn! This was very clearly a rushed, slapdash renovation that was completed as quickly as possible and then never properly maintained. It also appears that they must not be paying their cleaning staff enough as the room was unbelievably filthy and all the furniture and fixtures were so worn it they looked like they'd been used at a heavily trafficked bus station or homeless shelter. Indifferent staff at the front desk. Avoid like the plague.
Wonderful Oceanview apartment: * very clean * very modern * great kitchen with coffee machine, microwave etc. * We loved the view so much: To wake up seeing the sunrise out of the bed was a great experience. Negative: * curtain of the shower, this should be glas * You can hear the neighbors very well. We understood every word they talked because of the thin walls. Breakfast was very good! We will come back.
