Set on 7 acres nature preserve, Coconut Cove Resort & Marina exudes a "Caribbean vibe ," offering visitors a quiet, secluded escape at a surprisingly affordable rate. The lowest-priced of the 20 rooms are the Captain's cottages with a full kitchen and picnic table right in front of the room. General's rooms are situated in the more modern building, and are ideal for larger groups and wedding parties (which the resort specializes in). Ceremonies take place on select weekends and come complete with an evening fireworks display.Beautiful sunning beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, complimented by a zero-entry outdoor pool with a cascading waterfall. Within walking distance there is boat, wave runner, kayak rentals. Situated in the heart of Islamorada with many restaurant and bars, Theater of the Sea, and the Geological Park within walking distance Coconut Cove is the perfect place to have fun. Complimentary coffee and Danishes are offered each morning along free parking and maid service daily.

This place is not a resort and is falling apart both inside and out. Room was dirty with sand and bathroom was a collection of unmatched parts and a broken toilet seat. Don’t forget any belongings in your room when you leave!!!! You may not get them returned. Picnic table literally collapsed on my 72 yr old BIL when he sat down. Hotel Room doors are not secure (no fob or key card) and only have a cheap door knob that can easily be manipulated to open. Staff became rude when I called repeatedly to see if our family member’s expensive head phones were found and returned by housekeeping. Will not be returning and do not recommend!!!!

Web site is very misleading on amenities. Not clean and potential bug infestations in main building. Continental breakfast was a box of hostess cakes. Tiki bar was closed because of some kind of permitting issue. Gym was closed for unclear reasons. Walls between rooms very thin; could here every noise neighbors made all night long.

Advertised amenities not available (tiki bar, gym). Mattress worn out and uncomfortable. Walls paper thin (noisy kids and could even hear someone’s alarm early one morning and they were a snooze button person so it went on and on 😣). Continental breakfast was a box of hostess cakes. About the only thing this place has going for it is hot water for showers. Would not stay here again!

Patty, the office manager, was extremely professional, friendly and helpful with whatever we needed to know about our stay in the keys. The pool offers a warm tropical feeling with a relaxing atmosphere. A big plus is the immediate access to the ocean by boat, through their channel.
