Clean and friendly management. Stay in a cottage . Was dated but was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at . No moldy smells. Great place to sit back and relax . View is amazing . Sat under their tiki bar and play game of checkers outside . Would recommend

Paper thin walls Filthy exteriors of the building Lobby of our building smelled like cat urine Bad pillows Unit was clean but old/odd Looked more like an animal shelter than a hotel Grounds were very pretty and sure it was beautiful at one time Oh and many of the signs on the property were homemade - literally

We were booked in a room in the large 3 floor property on the south side. The first room, 19, had no closet, the a/c was very cold even though the thermostat was set at 78. We were moved to room 15 the next night. The room had a large glass door that had a view of the water. Unfortunately, the balcony the door opened on to was accessed by all rooms on the 3rd floor so there was no privacy and we had to keep the drapes closed for security. The coffeemaker in the room had no outlet in close proximity. I used two packets of coffee that was provided in the mini drip pot and the coffee looked like tea. The rooms have no soundproofing. The guests in the next room came in at 1:30 a.m. They were talking loudly, had the TV on and we heard "everything" that was going on after the TV was turned off. We could never get the TV in room 15 to operate. The internet, ice machine in lobby and refrigerator in room were all great. Will never go here again.

The management told us they are working to make changes but they still have a ways to go. Pulling in the place looks run down in areas. The room appeared to be clean but the curtains were gross and the surface off dressers was sticky. The name is miss leading I would not call this a restort.

Do not stay in room 9.... the faucet outside of the room is where the fish are cleaned, no matter what time of day or night. That leads to the water running into your designated parking spot and you park, unload yourself, luggage or whatever in the middle of that parking pond. Only to track wet sand into the room and have to clean that after you clean the cockroaches out. WAY overpriced. Asked one question pertaining to the area and the gal who checked us in, said, "I have no idea." Sorry I asked. Been in Florida traveling for two weeks. First and only disappointing accomidations.

Booked a room for the weekend. My son has a certified service animal. Provided verification and they denied us to stay. Kept saying his dog was a pet. I tried to give dr. verification but they would not look at it. Had to book elsewhere. Will also report them for denying service animal.

NOOOOOO!!!!! DON'T DO IT! DO NOT BOOK A ROOM! DO NOT SIGN THE AGREEMENT - NO REFUNDS! No refunds even though the room will be dirty, rooms and "resort"in disrepair, parking inadequate, entrance to rooms area was even a bit odd, walls were paper-thin, doors did not offer much security, balcony was connected to other areas such as the owners area even?, there were bugs biting us in the room, AND additional fraudulent charges tacked on after you leave, etc., but you won't figure any of that out until you have already signed the agreement and it's TOO LATE. Reminiscent of the BATES MOTEL.... Even though we couldn't actually stay the night, my credit card company didn't end up reversing the charges because of the way the agreement was written. I'm cutting my losses and counting myself lucky that we left when we did. We tried our best, with giving them two attempts at a decent room, but it was too disgusting to stay there. First room had bodily fluids covering the side of the bed. Second room had little bugs running rampant and biting us; even have videos of an infestation on the wooden nightstand. I've stayed at many places, but this is the worst by far. Literally ran from the place. Woman owner said to drop the keys in the box by the office, since they wouldn't meet me at the office to properly check me out, and they would not charge me. Absolutely lied. I didn't know at the time that I was dealing with scam artists, so I believed her (the owner). NEVER ANTICIPATED THE ADDITIONAL FRAUDULANT CHARGES THE NEXT MORNING: Owners claimed we had a dog with us and that we put the dog under the covers in BOTH rooms that we were only in for a few minutes each. We didn't even pull the covers back in either room, and very glad we didn't or may have found worse. We didn't have a dog with us, because we don't even own a dog. They charged us an additional $172.50 for a cleaning fee for the fictional dog. They even sent pictures of pet hair to my credit card company claiming that they were from our "stay". Not only is that morally wrong, but I believe should be at least bordering on being illegal to submit fake evidence to a credit card company. This is the WORST hotel/travel experience I have ever encountered. This is the worst SCAM, I mean business that I have ever had the misfortune to have done business with. They are intentionally, and routinely, preying on travelers. They have these types of tactics planned out. I believe that they actually have a pretty steady stream of revenue doing these types of scams. It is appalling to me that they have not been put out of business already. PLEASE write a review, contact the Better Business Bureau, and take action against them if you also have a bad experience with this "resort".

I have probably driven down this place a half a dozen times. I needed a place on my drive to Key West and this was the perfect place. The room had a great patio to sit outside. The property has a lot of amenities. They have a pool, a large ocean front beach, a very large outdoor seating area. I was disappointed that I had to move on and could only stay one night! I would certainly recommend this place to anyone heading to the part of the keys.

This place is nothing but an outdated motel, with a nice pool. Owner Paul Bates seems to have trouble keeping staff, as the previous management that got high reviews, had turned over once again. Owner Paul unfortunately, was on duty during our stay: Mr. narcissistic nice guy when we checked in, then turned into a raving maniac when I commented that basic motel necessities should be available before 9:am when the “office” opens: clean sheets, TP, coffee, pool towels, soap, shampoo, etc. Not to mention NO housekeeping service during our 5 day stay! He has taken advantage of the COVID excuse far too long, and he actually threw us out of the motel office when I commented. The pictures you see on their web site are deceiving, as there is no beach access, just a sea wall. No restaurant or Tiki bar (just a smoking area… obviously closed long b/4 COVID). Also, you’ll notice that reviews posted on their site are all positive. The ones posted here tell the truth, and Paul’s standard response is “fake review”. In closing, I private messaged Paul, man to man, for some kind of response b/4 writing this review….but no response or apology for his unprofessional behavior
