This is an older place. If you have expectations of a 5 star Polynesian resort you will be disappointed . That being said, if you check in advance and there are no weddings planned for your stay, and you just want a decent 3 star in a great location you'll be fine here. The staff was very friendly and we...

We had a lovely time at La Siesta; I really do not have any complaints about the place itself...except that its web site led me to believe it was a lot nicer than it turned out to be! Our room was spacious (a two-room suite, complete with full kitchen, small living room area, and two queen size beds), but it...

Old property. Note our surprise of sand bags in front of the cabana door (really?). Uneven sidewalks. They had boat slips, wave runners to rent and lots of people partying all around us. Nice view from back door, but you had to work to get open. Breakfast is just Continental, meh. If you were spring breakers with a boat, this...

The dock area is very shallow at low tide and there are too many coral rocks that need removed from the dock area. Do not move your boat in the marina at low tide. We saw one person who totally bent his prop. Anything that drafts over 18", forget it, at any tide level. 18" or less, trim up, or...

I am currently staying here, and seriously contemplated forfeiting my $400 for the crappiest "cabin" I've ever been in. There is a king bed - I checked for bed bugs immediately because the room just looked old and overlooked. Saw nothing (phew). Ants in the kitchen. It's the keys , ants are everywhere but the 1980's decor just makes them...

I really liked this place. I wish I stayed here a bit longer actually as it was very family friendly with a beach close by and everything I could ask for. For the price it's great value. I just wish they upgraded their furniture as it was really cheap.

The hotel grounds and room was great! The cleaning and maintenance staff was great! Front desk and their customer service not so much. I had an issue with the door not closing on my balcony and the water not being cold and the maintenance guy came in he was super friendly fixed everything right away. He was the best experience...

We booked our reservation on line and you know its like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. We hit paydirt! Some of the reviews scared us but the majority of them were good. Our room was on the second floor and I believe it is the one they use on the website. Our...

I come ot Islamorada 20-30 days a year working with local charities, fishing Guide association, fishing and recently looking for a place to marry the woman of my dreams. Our recent stay (We checked out today 5/25) ruined our entire vacation. It was the worse of our lifetime and we have stayed at over 5 different hotels in Islamorada. I...

This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. For a small resort fee per day you get access to kayaks, bikes, fishing poles and more! The resort is right on the water with a small beach, there are lots of hammocks and beach chairs to relax in. Breakfast is of a good variety and served pool/oceanside....
