Fabulous, relaxing, perfect sunrises! If you want a simple get away with clean rooms, kitchenettes, and no worries in the beautiful Islamorada area, this is it. Not a typical resort, this is like staying at your rich friend's guest house. The pool and bar are perfect too. Great for all ages

Older resort, but landscaping is absolutely beautiful. The marina needs some work definitely. Employees are very nice and helpful. Did have one problem though. Had a do not disturb on my door and someone came in and switched out the TVs. There was nothing wrong with the original TV that was in the room and could have waited until we checked out, or at least been given notice. other than that, everything was great. We come here every year and will probably continue coming here in the future.

We booked our stay for 3 nights but we left after 1 nigth!! We were accommodated in cabin # 14. - Absolutly no view - Absolutly not romantic - Absolutly not quiet There was no terrace or balcony at # 14, just 4 old chairs in the sand outside the door. The wifi does not work inside the cabin. Kitchen and bathroom is so old and outdated you can barely use it. There are bugs and flies all over. The air condition is SO LOUD you can not have a conversation. And it runs all the time, day and night. We could not sleep at all!! Pines and Palms Resort is not the place to be and we would not recommed this resort at all!! Stay away!!

Response from Julissa Ramirez, General Manager at Pines and Palms Resort

Grethe, Thank you for your feedback. Receiving guests' feedback is how we improve. Our commitment to quality and guest satisfaction are our top priority here at Pines and Palms. We are saddened to learn your stay was not as expected. Our two-bedroom cottage (14) is a privately secluded cottage, not advertised as an Oceanview. It is intended for those who would like a bit more privacy. We have recently made significant improvements to this unit including new air conditioning units. We hope you would give us the opportunity to show you the beauty of Pines and Palms. Once again, thank you for your kind and honest feedback. Warm regards, Julissa Ramirez General Manager

This is a cute old Florida resort. Convenient to restaurants & shops. Nice touch that bikes, kayaks are free to use. The rooms & cabins need a major update. Our deluxe ocean view had seams in the floors coming apart. The bathroom is ridiculous..so small. I would say most people staying in this type of room do not need a stove. Place is just worn out. Renovate & make the bathrooms larger. Open closet,no hangers. No where to put a wet bathing suit except over the balcony railing. Our friends were in a cabin with a front sitting area & the kitchen in the bedroom..really? Other friends were in the 2 story villa. It was nice on the water, beach smelled, stove was old & you could not tell what the temp was for the burners. It is a large unit best one to hang out with friends. No bathroom at the pool area so you have to walk back to your room or the office. Pool deck is chipped, cracked & so slippery. Sign at the pool say no bottles within 50 feet. Bar tender serving bottles & pool guest taking them into the pool??? Just don’t get that??Best part was our boat excursion to the sandbar. Chris is a fun captain. This “resort” could be so much more with some thoughtful renovations & upgrades.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay here very much, we travelled down from a 7 night stay in Orlando via Miami.. We were greeted with a glass of bubbles which was a lovely start to our stay. We rented the 3 bedroom 2 bathroom (one is en suite) cottage that was just seconds walk to the beach and pool. The cottage had a Keys relaxed feel with 2 of the bedrooms having balconies as well as the large covered balcony at the front. Being raised up gave privacy. The kitchen is well appointed. There is use of BBQ's on request, you have to buy the coals. We were a bit worried about sharing a pool as we normally rent with private but we were pleasantly surprised that we were the only ones using it most of the time! It is set sea/beach side so a lovely cool breeze and great view too. Very well kept up, very clean. There is a pool side bar with shade to enjoy happy hour 3 to 5pm, 2 for one, great cocktails. Would be great if there had been nibbles to buy? The 2 fishing pontoons were great to fish from, our son caught his first shark! (we release everything we catch) but also great to see the variety of wildlife as well, manatee, turtles, rays, shark, pelicans and a lot of other fish and birds. Use of bikes and Kayaks was free and we enjoyed using them. Lots of fab restaurants all around the resort. The resort is a good base to explore all The Keys, we enjoyed driving down to Key West and for us to drive up to Cape Coral through The Everglades for our last 10 days. A recommended vacation for sure. The only feedback we would give is that the bathrooms need an update and the chair in the living area was not very comfortable when we were all seated and it had to be used when the 2 sofas were full!

This is the 2nd time we were robbed at this resort in December 2022. The management company who is located in Boston Mass was of NO help whatsoever. We will not revisit...so very disappointing. When the previous owners were there it was great. Now? Forget it...pass this place by.

Pines and Palms Resort relaxes you and satisfies the soul…sunshine, ocean views, reading by the pool, an adventure by boat, live music and a cocktail at sunset. Pines and Palms also has an incredible staff who take care of every need. The resort is colorful, fun, and extremely comfortable. This was my first time here, but I met many people who have been coming every year for many years. I would love to join them in this tradition! The resort is also located to so many great restaurants in Islamorada. They have a fantastic boat that we took out and explored the mangroves, relaxed at the sandbar, and the experienced captain, Richard, showcased by stopping to point out the incredible sea life in and around the area. I highly recommend Pines and Palms Resort.

Hidden Gem in Islamorada We were a bit skeptical booking here but gave it a try for one night on our way to Key West. Upon arrival we were greeted with champagne. The manager Julisa, offered an upgrade to a room closer to the beach and was available for early check in. The upgraded room was beautiful! Amazing view, our own bikes, close to the pool and bar. Anderson was the best bartender ! Attentive to all our picky needs. Every staff member we encountered were friendly and helpful. This place is so amazing and peaceful we tried to extend our stay but there was no availability for another night in our beach cottage. Danielle tried her best to get us into another room one more night, but we decided to leave. We will definitely be back !

We stayed at the oceanfront two bedroom villa on our drive back from Key West to Miami. The villa was huge and had a balcony with a nice view. There was a washer/dryer in the villa but no laundry soap, so be sure to bring some.

Our young family loved staying at the Pines and Palms. Our cottage was clean and had that perfect Keys feel. Our kids loved riding bikes and paddle boarding in front of the resort. We saw sea turtles, rays, tarpon, and barracuda on the sea grass beds. The pool and pool bar area is located right on the water and was very relaxing. The staff was very accommodating. Anderson at the pool bar, Julissa at the front desk, and Kenny in maintenance were all amazing. We highly recommend !!
