We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights at Bayside villas. We arrived at 3pm and the reception let us check into our townhouse which was really appreciated. The townhouse was clean tidy with all household amenities. The decor and painting needs a little bit of an update but this did not hinder our stay in anyway. It was an ideal location and we also got to use the Isalander hotel facilities too which was a plus. We were also on the right side of Islamodora for the beutiful sunsets, which we could view from the private pool. Everything was just perfect and we hope to visit again.
We arrived at checkin time and were greeted promptly. Great unit for our family of four. We split our time between the Villas and the main Islander property. Great overall experience. Perfect sunsets at the Villas and quieter pool time. Overall comfortable base camp for exploring up and down the Keys.
Stayed in 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath with our family of 5, and it was perfect! Clean, roomy and new. Cleaning staff and reception are very friendly and helpful, we had one tiny issue with the washing machine, I only told them so they would know for the next guest and they addressed it immediately. This property is smaller and makes it feel special, access to the sister property with lots to do is a great combination. Thank you for great memories!
Jamiee was so fantastic at the Tides bar and restaurant at the Islander Resort in the keys! A wonderful hotel to stay at and relax and have a few drinks! We loved it- we will definitely come back in the future!
Was very happy with Miss Cassaundra’s help in check in and general knowledge of the area. The coffee and salt/pepper were a plus!! She also went out of her way to hold our groceries in the cooler until our room was ready! She was very gracious about it too!
Great Location Friendly and polite staff Clean Property - (They should use a different kind of desinfectant that smells less, but at least is clean) Villas are very big and accomodating Perfect for Family and friends Beds are wonderful offering a great night of rest The only bad thing from these resort was an extra charge on our credit card for $168 for no reason, and no invoice. I believe that might have been a mistake and we are awaiting for that to be resolved. The rest was GREAT!!
The only thing the Islander Bayside Villas price is based on is the fact they are in Islamorada, Florida. There are so many more locations doing more to earn your business with less than this location. This property should be a home-run with townhomes, but the interiors are cheap and not well managed or kept clean. The carpets are years past their life and not clean and the paint on the walls is the same with visible stains on walls, doors, etc. Do not blame this on a lack of work-force. The finishes to the townhome's interiors are cheap and minimal. But somehow they feel like they should charge one of the highest rates in the keys because there is a great sunset. We have stayed in multiple places in Islamorada but won't stay here again. It is very disappointing because they could be very nice, instead they just charge like it. When we complained that our townhome was filthy upon arrival they just moved us into one with a better view but equally dirty and the same cheap interior. Made us want to leave early.…
The property met our needs beautifully. The staff was super kind and extremely accommodating. We experienced a slice of paradise with tons of fun options for all ages. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
The general location and facilities were nice and roomy but definitely dated. Our bayside unit for Christmas break was tired and in need of updates. Unit appliances like stove, laundry, dishwasher etc were barely working. For instance dryer took 3 full cycles to dry some clothes; Kitchen unit supplies were very limited such as pans, utensils, bowls etc. they could easily update the space and freshen it up for a really wonderful stay. Especially for the price and for the family vacation. You need to have something more than a bed to sleep on. Very nice staff. Very pretty but needs TLC.
What a lovely property, with access to Islander Resort beach/pools/activities. Beds were comfortable. Enough room to spend time w/family inside & outside AND get quiet time to yourself! Would go back!
