Clean and quaint rooms with a living room and kitchen area. The motel, although old, is very well maintained, and very clean. They provide bikes, fishing gear, and kayaks for your use, at no additional cost. Assigned parking, waterfront docking, and very helpful staff contributed to our enjoyable stay. If you dont need luxury, want good value, and a clean...

This was our third stay. This one was best of all. Weather was perfect. Met some new super nice friends. Saw a manatee up close and personal. Saw a crocodile (yeah, I didn't believe it either) kayaking at Robbie's. Can't express how much we love it at La Jolla. And, of course, the staff, Vickie and Melissa, can't be beat....

Life is crazy and this is the easy get away for the family. Quaint hotel in the center of Islamorada located on the Gulf side. Had lots of fish off the dock: Hog fish lobsters manatees and more. They had kayaks and bikes free to our use. Also close to the brew house across the way. Say hi to Rob.

Our second stay at La Jolla, and again were very pleased. They've done some updates from our last stay as well. On our first trip we had a large family event and everyone was happy with our stay. From the pool, large outdoor bbq area, to the water sports right from the dock everyone was entertained. This last trip we...

We had a great stay at LaJolla. Vicky was so accommodating to our needs. It's a very small and quiet resort so if you are looking to get away from it all this is the place for you. We laid in the hammocks, walked to great restaurants and kayaked. No fancy Hyatt just old fashion laid back place with friendly...

As always the staff at La Jolla was wonderful!!! They were renovating the pool the week that we were there, but we were able to swim off the dock. Enjoyed making more memories! We'll be back next year!!!

What a fun time we had at La Jolla - it is an older property - don't expect a Hilton or a Best Western - it is like going back in time and enjoying a slower pace. The main living area....little kitchen, eating area etc. were in great shape - no problem there. Would love to see some work on...

Clean older motel, basics are all you will get, BUT... the location is well worth the lack of luxury. Hotel is for sale thus minimal repairs have been done. I could picture a small boutique style resort on this picture perfect property, if only I had $10 mill! Economical if just looking for clean place to sleep.

We were at the resort from 1/9 to 1/13. It was everything we read. A great little 1950's style resort. If you are looking for the latest and greatest fancy accomodations this may not be your place. If you are looking for a quiet, affordable place to stay in Islamorada, this is it. We checked in and from that moment...

We loved it! The owners were very willing to make sure we had everything we needed, or wanted. They even let me use their personal fishing pool to use on the beach. They also supplied me with bait. These are very good people!
