My sister and I were taking a road trip through the keys with Islamorda about half way through our trip. We found fisher inn very last minute, but we absolutely loved it. We had a two double bed room with balcony, the rooms are tastefully decorated with a 'sea side' theme and the bathrooms are gorgeous. But what really made the stay for us was the staff, upon check in Thomas was an absolute delight and made us feel so welcome - he went above and beyond to try and get us an early check in and provide us with some great restaurants, and activities in the local area. We loved the Florida Brewing Company and the Florida Paddle boarding company!) We were only staying for one night, but as it was so good we decided to stay another night on our way back to Miami and Thomas sorted this out for us upon check out. Thanks for a lovely stay!…

The room is simple and spacious with a full-size sink, mini fridge, & microwave. A great choice for families with children. We’re very pleased with the cleanliness. The pool is small and cute and not crowded. You can sunbathe on the on-site beach, but it doesn’t appear you can walk into the water from here. Games on the beach for kids. Pretty grounds and a boat launch. Thomas at the front desk is great.

Thomas at the lobby was very welcoming, He's lived here a long time and was eager to share his knowledge and thing to do. This is a well kept resort, very clean and beautiful rooms with extra parking for anglers with medium size trailers. Several good bars and places to eat and kick back. Enjoy!

I recently drove down to Key West from Miami with a friend. We stayed at 3 different hotels and this was by far our favorite! We had the ocean view room and it was clean, quiet, beautiful view, and we had wonderful guest service by Thomas. Only thing I will mention is to not expect a hot shower. They were lukewarm so I took quick showers! Even so, I will be staying here again as the balcony/view and guest service was well above the other hotels we stayed at.

We found this place by accident, It was a great find very clean nd write on the water. We had gone coughing which they have there as well as a great pool. What I really like is the fact that there is not a lot of people so I would call this a hidden gem

I almost didn't book this stay because of some of the reviews . . . don't listen to the bad ones. And, let's be clear, I got a great deal when I did book. One other item, if you want fancy, this is not the place for you. But, for me, it was perfect! I want low key and quiet when visiting the Keys. Fisher Inn is clean, simple and delivers. We had a King Room facing the beautiful water. That view all by itself is worth a million dollars. Thomas, who greeted us, is also worth a million dollars. Kind, helpful . . just who you want at the front desk. They do not clean the rooms every night, but you can request it, if that's your thing. I was happy to ask for clean towels and return my used ones. The breakfast is very simple, but I really didn't care to have more, if you want more, go out for breakfast. It looks like they are upgrading things slowly at this spot. And, from what I can see they are doing a great job. Thanks for a great couple days!! …

I seldom do this, but this experience was dreadful. I'll start with the pool was nice. That's all that was. You pay resort price for a cheap hotel. 2 single person kayaks, 2 paddle boards and a few bikes do not make this a resort. Had to shower in cold water. Attempted to call the front desk the mailbox was full! Only one mirror, in the bathroom, not one in the room. Blow dryer supplied in the bathroom but no electrical outlet? And no mirror anywhere but the bathroom!? Seriously I feel we were ripped off!

Great place, clean good views right on the water! We were checking in super late but they had everything ready for us to easily checkin to our room. The next morning the front desk texted to ask if all was ok. Super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend fisher inn!
