WOW from the upgraded room to the lovely lady at the pool handing out cool towels. We never moved our car in 5 days the location is perfect. The views were amazing even with Covid the entire stay was spectacular. We were so impressed with this resort and needed a distraction from “life” it was exactly that. Thank you Lauren!!!!!

We've been to this resort a few times and always book luxury accommodations of an oceanfront 2 bedroom suite for two couples. The price has gone up ($1300/night+) while the accommodations are getting tired. The icemaker and freezer drawer were broken. The solution was to tell us to go up one floor to the ice machine. There was a sewage smell in one bathroom. The solution was to turn on the fan. The covid hand sanitizers were empty at the all 4 stations that we frequented. Telling the desk and housekeeping manager did not resolve, two days later. When we've been there prior, the cruise ships blocked the view and it was quite nice to NOT have them there this time. Bistro 245 food was excellent, but mixed drink were watered down and poor even though they were $10+ each. Unfortunately, due to covid, the Sunday Brunch was eliminated, which was the best brunch ever! Pool staff was very accomodating. We didn't mind that maid service did not clean our rooms daily. Replacement Towels and needed amenity were easily available upon request. When we voiced our concern at checkout the manager did make a slight reduction, but when spending $10K+ for a hotel, it's not about the $, it's about the luxury experience. The was still very good despite the tiring accomodations and the lack of response by management. Great location to walk to Duval St and Mallory Sq and boarding the boat for Latitudes restaurant. Recommend golf cart rental and walk to First Flight Micro Brewery. Bellmen were very informative and accommodating. BTW, it was spring break season while we were there, so probably busier than usual.…

Stoped for a bite and to watch the sunset - our server was great very friendly and warm - it was breezy but couldn’t ask for a better view. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend the food but the location is amazing.

We actually were booked to stay at Havana Cabana, but they overbooked so moved us to Opal Key without charging anything extra! Check-in was easy and staff was friendly. They offer free garage parking which is a huge plus as it is extremely difficult and expensive to park in downtown Key West. We were there during spring break so a ton of college kids at the pool all day. They were loud but didn't seem too rowdy and/or the staff kept them under control. The location can't be beat. It is right next to Mallory Square so you can easily take part in the nightly festivities. It is also adjacent to marinas where Fury water sports docks so easy to hop on a trip. The resort itself is nice, but nothing amazing. The pool is not huge but large enough and there is a poolside bar. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and come with robes, slippers and bottled water. The sunset deck is a highlight as it is just about on the water so you can have a drink while watching a world-class sunset. They have a 24-hour fitness center which includes cardio equipment, dumbbells and a cable pulley system. There's no bench there so you can only perform standing exercises. The ceiling is low as well so the pull-up bars on the cable machine are just about touching the ceiling. There is a restaurant on site as well with outdoor patio seating below the sunset deck so it is covered, protecting you while you still get a gorgeous view. We did not eat there so cannot comment on the food. Overall, can't beat the location. I probably would not pay full price for this place, but we got a great deal (paid about half price due to our switch.…
