My wife and I have been to Olivia by Duval 17 times since May of 2009. We absolutely love it there. When our friend, Kay, passed away after we left in 2014 we heard that the pale really went downhill. I read a lot of bad things; how it was falling apart, not being kept up, prices were raised, etc....

Stayed at Olivia by Duval from 9/9/15 to 9/13/15. Check in was easy, but its not at the location of the hotel. Check-in was on Duval at the Wicker house, which had a parking spot or you to check-in. I stayed in room 206 which was very nice. Comfortable bed nice bath although the tub was cracked and water pressure...

Upon Check-in I felt like the man checking me in was checking me out. He said I could have free parking if I gave him my keys. I said "no" and he snatched the parking pass out of my hand. I said no I needed parking and he relented. Next we got to our room and it was tiny and...

There's no parking and paying more for a hotel is worth the extra $ if you get a parking spot. Would be nice if we are offered free bikes or a taxi coupon...we drove around several blocks for 45 minutes and got lucky 3 blocks away. City parking lot at $25 for 24 hours. Thank goodness for location because that...

Great experience every time, with an "at-home" feeling from the venue to the staff. Plus great location just steps from Duval. Since the first time that I stayed here four years ago, it is always the first place that I call when I'm heading to Key West.

We were booked into the Island Oasis (room 304)...no oasis at all. You have to lug your bags up a musty, smelly set of stairs only to find run down, smelly, falling apart accommodations. The faucet is falling off the sink, mold around the tub, dreary carpet that we were afraid to walk on. I have never walked out of...

First of all, I prefer the southern end of Duval Street over the northern end any day of the week. It's quieter and just more low key. The Olivia By Duval location is literally right around the corner from the Wicker Guesthouse, which is where you check-in. This makes it very convenient if you have any questions or concerns. (Or...

We ended up staying here as an extra day stay through the Wicker house. It was a cute little place with quirky little room. Way over priced, from what I hear about 100 dollars more than last year and did not offer any type of breakfast. The bed and linens were pretty good but the bathtub was atrocious!! It was...

My background: I have stayed at the OBD annually for almost 15 years, enjoyed EVERY visit and have written glowing reviews of the property, staff and the dearly missed former owner Kay (who passed suddenly Spring '14). The OBD was then purchased by Key West Hospitality/Wicker a large corporation.... and the change began. I was there 10/14 and was shocked...

First I want to note that the last 5 or 6 reviews made me nervous and sickly about coming to this place. I literally expected a room to be falling apart and the pool to be green and unusable. To my surprise this place was just fine. Is it starting to look aged, yes, however, you are still in key...

Strahberrie, thank you so much for staying with us, and for leaving such a nice review. I'm glad you and your son had a great time (and contrary to popular belief, Key West is indeed a great place for families). We appreciate your acknowledgement that we are working through the necessary updates and renovations while the property is actively being...
