The Banyan Resort is a magical gem and hid-a-way in Old Town Key West. Made up of seven homes, five on the National Historic Registery, The 38 one and two-bedroom suites surround a magnificent garden with two pools, a Jacuzzi, and Tiki Hut that serves food and drink from 9-5. Convenient and walking distance to almost all Old Towne Key...

Spent a night at the Banyan—the room was beautiful , clean spacious and updated, the staff welcoming and accommodating, and the pool and grounds a lovely respite in a very cool little town. It's a little oasis in the middle of a very fun place.

If there is availability, we'd love to return to the Banyan Resort on our next trip to Key West. Even though it's on a street frequented by tour buses - we still felt this was a secluded place - and our porch faced the street! I love the windy paths on the grounds of this resort. They're other-world-y. I spent...

This was our first stay at the Banyon Resort. We were not sure what to expect, and we were pleasantly surprised. It had been years since we were in Key West and the prices for rooms has increased dramatically. We knew were wanted to stay in Old Town. Once we parked our car we did not want to move it...

I used to love this place, but has really gotten run down!!! It appears to be in that mode where the owner is taking out the equity from the resort or they are just benefiting from a great location and just don’t care. I was there Nov 7th through the 15th and the Banyan trees were shedding their seeds and...

Weekend we went most places were booked. Found this resort which is also a time share. Room was nice but the one bedroom loft was a pain climbing the spiral staircase. Also did not need a kitchenette area as we were there only a few nights. It seemed like an older crowd as well 75-80 yo. Might consider again

Just returned from a three night stay at the Banyan. This was our first time at this resort and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice this property is. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. (Room 801). The suite was completely updated and had a new kitchen and bath with a nice sized glass shower. The rooms were a...

Have been staying at the Banyan for many years. A very unique property of historic homes with stunning well maintained gardens and 2 pools. All of the units have been completely renovated. There is a tiki bar near the pools for food and beverage. The rooms are spacious and elegantly appointed with tropical style and each has a full kitchen....

We recently purchased a timeshare week for next October but came down in February to see what the resort was like. We stayed in unit 602. The accommodations were great: clean, roomy and secluded like most of the units feel. It came with two decks to enjoy either a sunrise or sunset coffee. The unit was fully appointed with all...

We recently stayed here for a long weekend! Absolutely loved it. We have stayed in several different places in Key West and this is now by far our favorite. You are so close to Duval Street but you would never know it. The grounds were beautiful and you felt completely secluded. We loved the fact that you could hop on...
