Wife and I visited for our anniversary this month. Stayed in an ocean view king. View was outstanding, room was average. Bed was above average. Nice rain fall shower. AC worked well. Beach was as good as you can get in key west, great views of all the boats going by. Service on beach was great from Linda and above average from the others. Food was very good and prices were more reasonable than expected. Still only cleaning rooms every three days, bummer. Wife got a massage, she said it was fine, not bad not amazing. As the other reviews state this is an outstanding location. Can walk to everything. Topless beach sign is gone but your still allowed to go topless and some did. No deal breakers at all, felt clean, nothing was poor and no one was rude.
We recently stayed at the Pier House and Spa in Key West Fl. The property was absolutely beautiful and gave one the feeling like you were in the garden of Eden. Clean, modern, tropical, and a step above the others; this depicts the property. What impressed me the most was the strong work ethic of those employed by the Pier House. We were treated like royalty being waited upon with such attention to our needs. One employee in particular, MARCEL made certain that beach and pool experience was out of this world. I have been to many 5 Star resorts, but this one is by far the best that Key West has to offer. Pool staff, dining staff and room/maintainance staff receive an A+ grade from this 35 year education veteran. WE LOVE Pier House!!!!
I had a hard time picking a hotel. This placed checked all the boxes. Restaurant and bar onsite. Beach and that’s not a given in KW. Good selection of room choices. The staff was so-so. Some very friendly and others not so much. It was extremely crowded towards the end of our stay. Only thing I didn’t like was there was no room service. Try a Key Lime Colada at the beach bar...amazing!
Great location, nice private beach and good restaurant. Negatives - pricey, staff was not always helpful at beach with chairs and food but then the next shift they were! Also went as a family of four and room was on the smaller size with no lock or way to close the bathroom door (little magnets to close them don’t work anymore). Also due to Covid housekeeping only available once during our 4 night stay and she came at 4:00 when we were in the room getting ready for dinner so she could not enter due to Covid. For the price we paid I wish they came and gave more coffee and fresh towels.
Have stayed before, not the same. I'm being very generous here with a three star, and it's only because of the location. Service is a one, at best. For the cost of the stay service should be a ten. Room Service every three days - Really? Who stays in their room while it's being serviced? No one, therefore the likelihood of COVID transfer is nil. Room service should be "offered" daily. Anyone can turn it down, but there's no offer - just every three days. You have to request towels, TP, etc. Service at the pool is just as bad. 30 minute wait for towels.....Why? The horrible service has nothing to do with COVID. Its a money grab, plain and simple. Our two bedroom suite was $8,000.00 for five nights and service at the airport hotel in DC the night prior to travelling was better and just over $100.00. There are just as spectacular views from other resorts on the island, and the island is small enough to get to Duval quickly - Spend your money elsewhere.…
