This hotel was a great little oasis. The privacy, cleanliness, and overall trip was amazing. We had one of the waterfront rooms and it is highly recommended. You get your own little porch right on the sand to enjoy coffee and sunset! This resort was very relaxing and my fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay.
Vincent was fantastic. He was the best waiter ever. So personable and nice. If you ever get the the opportunity to go to Parrot Key resort make sure you seek him out !!!! Parrot Key is a amazing resort !!
We had the displeasure of a 5 night stay at this unfriendly resort. The rooms are like split townhouses. You have to climb 16 steps to the main floor and then up another long flight to the 2nd bedroom. The site conditioner would cut off when you were gone and in the middle of the night. The room phone did not work. We were told that due to COVID we would receive no room services. The minibar in the room would not be stocked but in an effort to compensate us they provided us 2 bottles of water at the beginning of the stay. The room shampoo and soap was one step above the squeeze bottles at a Hilton TRU bathroom. 3 days into the stay we asked for the garbage to be picked up and for new towels. We found a garbage bag of new towels and coffee pods thrown in the corner at the bottom of the steps. No trash was picked up. But the day of checkout the maid service was eager enough to get us moving at 9:00 to come half way up the steps to ask when we would be leaving. The COVID scare is trumped by checkout cleaning urgency. This is not the service level of a $1,000 per night hotel. I highly recommend you skip this poorly managed resort! …
We just returned from 4 nights in room 36 A & B. We loved the 3 levels- had plenty of room for our family. The water view was beautiful - we loved having the sand right outside. The grounds are lush & full of flowers. We had great service at check in. We ate in the restaurant/bar on 2 nights - food was very flavorful & good portions. We had wonderful service from all staff we encountered. We were aware of no room cleaning so we just asked staff for more towels one morning. Valet service was quick to bring car up. Jet ski tour was fun - even in the wind - staff was knowledgeable & kept eyes on guests for safety. We had a wonderful trip to Key West and loved the quiet location of the resort.
You have to really look or it's easy to miss driving in. No trips in 20 months and really needed a peaceful weekend. Traffic south of Largo was a disaster, almost 1.5 hours to go 6 miles - then opened up. Location is secluded but still next to shopping and minutes from the historic area. Food and service was great and we loved the place. I gave 5 stars, but I do have 1 complaint. The fluffy pillows go flat almost as soon as my head hit them. Not good for side sleepers. Room service was great but seemed closer to take-out.
