Before we booked we asked about the pool, partying situation after 11 pm, cars driving fast etc. They said the pool would be fixed before Christmas, no loud music late at night and everyone drives slow and safe in the community. The pool has been “under construction “ since Halloween, seems they tried to do some stuff without permits got caught now it’s January and no end in sight. The internet doesn’t work, loud music till 1-3 am depending even in a Tuesday doesn’t matter. People driving fast all day and night (even with all the kids here they don’t care). Last night we came back home from a day trip and there was 6 cops here for an incident. We have had unleashed dogs crap on our yard and people leave it, also had one pee on the rv jack legs. Most full time residents here are nice but office hours and their attention to assist is useless. Most mail goes to the office not your lot so you need to try 2-3 times a day to get your packages. Clearly the HOA board and management could care less about anything. Washer and dryer shutdown mid cycle , and of course no refunds. Maybe for like 900-1200 a month in the winter it be worth it but not as these prices with lack of response or care. They have a long way to go before being a destination resort like other ones in the area.

The house although expensive. Nice layout for 3.5 couples. Maybe that is the cost of doing business here. The pontoon boat ran well but torn seats. Radio didn't work. Cover used pressure pins to hold in place. Pins broken or missing on one side. So back of top trys to come forward. You would think they would at least put some tape over shredded section of seats and have fixed pins before someone could end up getting hurt. Also table loose. Ran well with 150 HP yamaha outboard. Golf car 6 passanger must be from early 1990. Middle seat slips down some and it is above batteries. Use a screw drive as a key. Together it was $1,000 to rent for the week. The house decor nice. Upscale kitchen appliances.

We rented la casa pequena through Airbnb and it was quite nice and cozy. Only place in 30 years of traveling that wanted to see our car rental agreement before letting us in which I found rather invasive. Other than that, office staff escorted us to our camper, it was clean and quiet. Easy jaunt to water front to watch the sunset. Pretty pool area, tennis and ball courts. Convenient to many restaurants and a Publix.

First visit to the campground. Loved our site. The pool was so warm and spacious. Neighbors became friends over the month. The daily manatee sightings were so awesome. Great place to kayak. Laundry and shower facilities clean and spotless. Very quiet for the most part. Grocery store within a mile. Also Dollar Tree. Not much green space for our dog but she adapted and there was a walking trail close to campground. We are already making our plans for next year.

Reservations were made in February 2019 for January 2020. We made our deposit and then 75 days before arrival the remainder was due. We were told we had 2 sites next to each other. When we arrived they told us that our sites were not next to each other and asked us again what we had...motorhome w slides and 5th wheel w slides. Security came out and measured our units and told us we may not fit. They took us to look at the sites and they were small. We came back and asked the office staff if there were any other sites and the answer was...no. If we didn’t fit in the site then there wasn’t anything else. Lots of excuses and reasons. We took the 5th wheel in first. It wouldn’t fit on the first site so we tried the second one. Got it on. Went and got the motorhome...it was tight and with a lot of maneuvering we got it on. Had we not gotten it on we would have been without a spot and 1000 miles from home! I don’t understand how the office staff doesn’t know what site fits what size unit. What would we have done had it not fit? You have to make reservations a year in advance and I’m sure all of the other campgrounds were full! The campground itself was wonderful! The guest and residents were all so nice and friendly! We stayed here the year before without an issue. Hope they figure out how to reserve spots because the marina is very nice with beautiful sunsets.

The people in the park were friendly, loved seeing the manatees and the sunsets. But we almost didn’t get to enjoy it. We made our reservations almost a year in advance (February) and were told the sites we had in August (we had two). When we got there we only had one of the sites promised and they were iffy on if we would fit in the site. The other site was different than promised and again the couple we were traveling with were told they didn’t know if the would fit. If they didn’t, there were not any other sites available. I believe they double booked the other site. They were not apologetic about anything. We luckily fit into both of the sites. We traveled from Georgia and Tennessee for this trip. We will NOT go back again knowing we might not have a spot when we get there.

Traveling full-time in a 38-foot coach we stayed 7-nights in a site (# 447) for big rigs. This was our first visit here. This park has mostly full-time residents/owners. No dog walk or dog park here, but plenty of room to walk your pet along the lane leading into the park. We had good AT&T phone service here, unfortunately no satellite reception due to a badly positioned palm tree. These are not the most quiet or private sites, but if getting to know your neighbors and group activities sound appealing, then this would be the place for you.

We greatly enjoyed our time here! The campground is very clean and people put a lot of effort into their curb appeal. Everyone was very friendly, especially our neighbor Mario, we really wished we had more time to get to know everyone better. The pool is warm and relaxing, the bath house is very clean. The security guards were helpful and friendly, we booked through an Airbnb so I had very little interaction with the office but I stopped in once and they were friendly and helpful. This is a place I would consider purchasing a lot at! We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!
