Bluefin Rock Harbor RV Resort and Marina. We stayed here for two weeks until the end of March 2023. The location on the water is beautiful. When we arrived, we had a beautiful breeze and the temperature stayed in the high seventies to low 80’s. The inland sites are an obstructed view with boats. If you can get on the water, it’s really nice. Alana is very helpful. I think a resort map would help to see where you are staying so you are not disappointed when you arrive. We had booked this last minute because Sun Out Doors Islamorada called three weeks before our arrival and said they were not ready. So we felt lucky to get a spot with only 3 weeks to find something. As for things to do at the RV park. We took our paddle boards out in the ocean every day. You can see to the bottom of the ocean there. They have a place to put them in (which had a lot of seaweed) The do not have a beach or pool. A pool would have made this place extra special. I was not comfortable swimming in the ocean there. But we talked to a neighbor and he said it’s safe to swim there, he was a dive/snorkel instructor and never had any problems. We also went to Jacobs Park about two miles away to play Pickleball. They ask for a 5 dollar donation or 20 dollars for your stay. We didn’t have a car vehicle, so we took our electric bikes. We brought a golf cart but you really couldn’t use it because you can only drive it on roads 35 mph and under. If you like fishing, you can fish right off the pier or if you are on the water at your site. We caught a few fish and even a bonnet head shark. Fishing is good. A neighbor of ours said he caught a 5-foot bull shark. Most of the people stay for extended periods of time at this location. You will have boats coming in and out of this marina. Some of the people own an RV and a boat. You did have some type of construction going on coming into the resort. It was not a pleasant site but you didn’t have to look at it either. Your view is the ocean. They do have commercial washing machines and dryers. I chose to use my own washing machine that I had bought for our RV. And I did not see any showers. Alana lives off of the site so they do not have an office. I wanted something mailed in and she was very accommodating to get it sent to her location and then deliver to me.

I am so happy I found this beautiful piece of paradise and didn’t let bad reviews sway my decision. Every person has different experiences and unfortunately most people only write reviews when it’s negative. Alana and the Manager Jim have been so accommodating and helpful to me. As a first time RVer, Jim greeted me and helped me set up my whole RV and taught me how to clean out my tanks! He was so patient with how I wanted my RV to face the sunrise as he pulled me into the perfect spot with his forklift! I was so grateful for his help, it was unexpected as I was planning on opening my tutorial videos! Alana, knowing Hurricane Ian wiped out my home and business was thinking of ways to help me start up my paddle boarding business again down in The Keys. She has been so kind and patient with me! My favorite thing about Blue Fin is starting my mornings on the water, watching the sunrise on my paddle board just steps from my front door!

The most important thing to know is how UNETHICAL and unprofessional the lady who owns/runs the place is as it relates to honesty. We were told we were paying 150/ night for each camper and this was for the best 2 sights she had. When we arrived, we could barely get our camper into a (spot) and when we asked why we and the other couple are not next to each other, she said she didn't understand why we would want this. She is very condescending and arrogant. This is why she only accepts checks ahead of time, be very careful. We couldn't even put our canopy out due to no room, when we exited our camper we were looking right down into a couples bedroom and bathroom of a boat that was staying there, There are plenty of other places to stay in the KEYS, I do not recommend doing business with her. IF there was a way to rate this below a 1 I would. I will also be providing feedback on BBB and possibly small claims court for false advertising. It also said we would have cable but is "hasn't been hooked up yet" in the crappy spot we had. We talked to other campers ( snowbirds) and they didn't have much good to say about her or how she operates this facitly either. But they are scared based on the other review of her calling the sheriff, on a whim. They indicated they have seen her remove several people who have had issues with her without any rebate or refund. Something is ethically wrong with how this facility operates. Also, based on "her" rules, if you do have a spot on the water front, ANYONE can come in and start fishing from your site.. MY rant is basically to say DON'T do business with this campgrounds

The owners are constantly improving the sites and facilities available. Other campers are friendly and helpful. It doesn't surprise me since being in the Keys makes everything seem worth smiling about. I will be back again and again!

I was told my campsite would have a great ocean view .I had a view of construction equipment putting underground utilities in every single day of the month I stayed. The workers started between 7:00 & 7:30 and made it impossible to sleep in. The owner didn't have internet and cable to me until the 5th day of my stay. The real kicker was when I went to settle on the utilities, I had my camper electric running through the owner provided meter. They wanted to charge me 2.5 times what the meter read, when I disputed the charge they actually called the sheriff and I was told to leave before my pre-paid month was over. I was given no refund toward pre-paid rent or utility deposit. There very many untruths spoken to me from the owner, it seemed the truth was not important and the facts didn't carry any weight with her. I should have known when she asked for a check in advance and refused to take a credit card that there was something not right with this business. I give all the information one needs to not put yourself through what I had to endure with this company. The owner allowed one of their workers to openly cuss at me and never spoke up to keep the conversation professional. Really? Bad, bad place to try to relax and unwind. There are more poor reviews on the business if you want to look further, just click on the one star reviews and read others comments.

Absolutely lovely. It was a snowy blustery day and just so nice to be able to turn on the fireplace. Room was bright and cozy. Check in was not until 4 and we tried to get in got 2 but could not. Which is s not of a bother when you are pretty much stuck in the middle of no where. Had s tasty dinner in the dining room Totally enjoyed the visit

So I give this a higher star because of the waterfront views and location to key largo. Views were awesome!!! It served our needs of 4 adults just fine. Know that due to hurricane damage the waterfront lots do not have sewer hookup which was not explained at time of reserving. You have a sewer wagon that you can transport it to the sewer discharge station which is a quick walk. Reservations were kinda messy, it’s kinda first come first serve on the waterfront lot that you get. The bathhouse is old and dated but functional, we didn’t care to use it. No amenities but the view. Lots of construction next door going on to repair another dock which didn’t bother us we were back and forth sightseeing. Neighbors were extremely nice. If you have kids you might want to consider another place, I didn’t see any while we were there. There is also a boat dock which is nice if you need it. I would stay here again!!!

Great place to relax and enjoy all the Keys has to offer. The people that own the park are seriously awesome and went way above and beyond to make sure our vacation was a success. We had boat issues just before the 4th and they made calls asked for favors and ultimately helped make sure our family enjoyed the Keys to the fullest!! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We reserved a site and were told we would need to send a check they did not except credit cards. That should have been a dead give a way. There was no site we could get into the hookups were not reachable at same time. In others words you could have power but no water or water but no power. Beautiful pictures on website. But when we arrived they but us beside boats I must save in all our years camping I have never seen anything like this. Please take my advice you do not want to stay here
