Kawama Yacht Club is not really a yacht club. The rental condos surround a man made salt water lagoon that has a small beach and a dock at the opposite end of the lagoon. The lagoon is full of tropical type fish and a resident...More
We just spent a month at Kawama Yacht Club in unit P-1. The resort was well kept, quiet and beautiful. Our grandkids came for a week and loved the lagoon, snorkeled in the ocean nearby and enjoyed the free use of kayaks and other equipment....More

We had a week at Kawama Yacht Club this summer. Depending on what you're looking for this is a great place. We really wanted to be on a beach that was easy to swim at and walk on. Kawama does NOT have these things. We...More

We stayed with Norman Wartman. His property was amazing and he was actually a really nice guy. I had read other travelers reviews regarding him & his properties and most were pretty bad, so I contacted Norman directly and voiced my concerns. He answered every question honestly and with the prices and amenities he offered, we decided to book with him. I am so glad I did because our vacation was perfect. We had full access to all his water toys, bikes, fishing gear and his golf cart. The small, rocky beaches and lagoon were perfect for our 9 & 4 yr old, and our 18 & 19yr olds spent hours fishing, snorkeling & on the paddle boards. The 6 of us had more than enough room in the condo and there was plenty to do on the grounds themselves. Norman was a trip, quite funny if at times a bit off color, but having a sarcastic personality myself*, we got along just fine. Hope this helps!
